A good adaptation is made by making something compelling in the target medium. Changes are not bad, 90% of the time bad adaptations are ones that do not change enough. Think about it this way, if changing the source material is bad inherently then shouldn't all good adaptations just be the manga panels in a slideshow? Haruchika, Boku dake, AssClass S2, Phantom world, girls beyond the wasteland, active raid.

Meh. It's probably the first show I'll drop if something better comes along. It's fujoshit, it feels like an uninspired harem with the roles reversed. If nothing better happens it's worth keeping around though.

I'm really liking Dagashi Kashi so far. It's nice to see a show once in a while where the characters aren't autistic and embarrassed all of the time. Seasoned anons with high SoL power levels should enjoy this one.

Active Raid - Very boring first episode 4-5/10.
AssClass S2 - Same as S1 above average 6/10.
Boku dake ga Inai Machi - Easily the best start this season,currently a 7/10 could be good enough to get an 8/10 if they don't fuck it up.
Haruchika - Mediocre,PA Works ain't even trying with this one,too busy prioritizing Kuromukuro.

Honestly it's not, I agree their anime looks beautiful but everything they put out is garbage. KyoAni is exactly what you'd call moeshit, because it's moe for the sake of moe. Having cute girls is good, having several anime focused on cute girls it's just plain garbage.

I didn't feel Active Raid was "generic" since we don't get a lot of anime in this style. It is a genre piece, however, since it's very Toku. I do agree about the OP, but I enjoyed the wackiness, though I suppose it will calm down slightly in the coming weeks.

I want to like this because Reiko & PA Works. The first episode was a little uninteresting though. Mysteries are better when there's some chance of being able to figure them out yourself. I don't know Japanese or musical notation so I couldn't really do much more than wait for them to explain it. Hopefully there's a little more intrigue in the next episodes.
