Did you rike it?
I just want Chika to sneeze in every episode
Fuck your opinions
Cutest girl of the season right here
Reminder that fuccboi is an ACTUAL faggot.
>"Well?" Haruta said. His gaze on me genuinely conveyed 'What have you come here for?'.
>There were so many things I wanted to tell. I retrieved the notebook containing notes from the blackboard out of my school bag and spoke as calmly as I could.
>"Sensei is very worried."
>Haruta was taken aback and nodded profoundly.
>"Also, everyone in class is reflecting on their actions."
>Haruta turned to look at me with skeptical eyes.
>To begin with, the reason why Haruta refused to go to school is this: Haruta has unrequited love for someone at our school. He took peep photos with his cellphone - no no - One of his daily routines is that he privately looks at the photos he stealthily took of that person for his own modest pleasure. Though he usually locked it firmly with a password, he forgot it one day and on top of that he lost the cellphone at school. Haruta desperately looked for it with bloodshot eyes. It was no good that the one who found it was a boy from our class. Half-interested, he sneaked a look at the photo album and saw the photos of that person he had unrequited love for. Not to mention that there were a lot of those too. I could understand that boy's confusion very well. Surely it must have felt like opening the box of Pandora. The classroom was filled with commotion, confusion and cheers. Suddenly, Haruta was surrounded by our classmates as if he were caught in the eye of a typhoon.
>"I've made my decision. I'm going to quit school," Haruta muttered with a distant look in his eyes.
We also have our first reaction pic of the season.
So, of all the translations or words, why did they have to choose "blossom" for the title?
The only instance when this shit is used apart from flowers and in conjunction with more than one human name is love blossoming or some kind of relationship at all blossoming.
That's some clickbaity shit right there.
Yeah, visuals are bad but Chika makes it up for it.
Wasn't bad, but wasn't good. Friend being gay was a fairly novel twist. His dressing up of the mystery was stupid, and the way they "solved" it didn't make sense even if you know music and moon. Mysteries that try to go with the Sherlock Holmes "I am a fucking wizard" approach but don't have high stakes at all times just fall flat and get annoying. Also, most of the characters are pretty bland. Hopefully the drama doesn't get too heavy. Chika being a tomboy and making Haru miserable were the best parts.
Also, fuck the CG cancer.
>G-Guys! Didn't you watch Shirobako where they told us we should accept CGshit!
I can't believe they had the gall to shill that garbage in an otherwise perfect show. That shit needs to die already.
Most studios are dying to kill 2D and start going full 3D already but every time they try they fail miserably since Japanese CGI is fucking garbage, the most recent example was that Ghibli show nobody gave a fuck about.
Full CG is fine for goofy shit like Shrek. I like a little every now and then. If studios think it's ok to throw away all that delicious 2D and all those talented, hardworking animators so they can try to emulate jewllywoods CGbux, they're out of their fucking minds.
>every one seems to think they're experts on the subject
>I've never been in a single thread about animation production before Shirobako
Shirobako was a nice look into how a studio works, but no one cites the show as an end all be all resource unless they're shitposting. People interested in anime (especially sakugafags) have been talking about the animation process and researching it for years.
>Full CG is fine for goofy shit like Shrek.
The problem is that Anime studios are nothing near to emulate the Shrek's CGI quality, until then we'll still be having delicious 2D animation with tight deadlines and a bunch of QUALITY.
It made the worst first impression possible. This is a lot of the reason people say it looks bad, right? I didn't notice any drawn characters being QUALITY or screwy perspectives. It feels like nitpicking or plain trolling to complain beyond that.
But these CGI people. Why? Not only do they clash with the art style but they're duplicated. They don't move around so I don't know why they didn't just have a guy draw them.
>The problem is that Anime studios are nothing near to emulate the Shrek's CGI quality
No, the problem is that even if they could make CG like that, hand drawn is still better, especially when you take into consideration how expensive CG is and what kind of animation talent they could hire instead with that money.
>hand drawn is still better
That's true but the majority likes CG the most, the best example is in the west where the last 2D movies were flops while things like Shrek and Monsters inc were huge successes. In the moment the Japanese manages to sell well an average looking Full-CGI series, everything will end for 2D anime.
Right > Left
>There was no QUALITY
What a good joke. You should do stand-up
Do you think they're saving budget for the climax?
The sneezes were all perfection. If you're honestly to willing to give up a goddess like this just because there's a fag in the show then you're a closet homo retard confirmed
They were about to rape her until she sneezed
what about Tesagure!?
full cgi, budget of rice wine, half of the show doesn't even have writers and it sells well
It's foreshadowing for when she gets magic flem that allows her to cure the blonde kid from the gay
You gotta accept that at the very least this makes you interested to see what will happen next and how they will handle it.
I can't see it ending well
>teacher doesn't like the idea of fucking students
>blondie goes full edgelord
>its secretly a ploy to get chika to let down her guard so he can NTR the teacher
Sidonia was done by a western studio though I doubt japan will be that open in the future.
I'm not sure you can count tesabu, since it's so out there. It could even get by without any animation to be honest.
The danger is CGI doesn't even have to sell well to take over. It just needs to effectively advertise the source material. So long as it does that, publishers continue to fund studios who use CGI. That's why it's still here even though everyone agrees it looks bad.
Don't worry m8.
They're including characters not from the original novel, so there could be changes in the anime
The Japanese are stubborn, they're still using their obsolete alphabets. Hell the government has even tried to modify kanji to make it simpler and less retarded but they just won't have it. Even if 3D seems like a better choice in terms of money they won't ditch 2D animation probably ever. It's part of their culture and they're very zealous when it comes to that.
>sick of fansubbers being slow and dropping shows halfway through season
>decide this season to just download HS
Holy shit how the fuck does Funi get away with charging for this shit. There's no way in hell I can watch something with such terrible quality.
This girl is seriously cute.
You could have stopped it anon but you had to believe in Daiz sweet lies, didn't you? You thought 10-bit was the future, you thought we were heading in the correct direction but it was just a trap, but let's be honest here my friend, we never stood a chance did we?
Even so, if you want to try and make that argument then how do you explain the insanely popular 2D western shit like gravity falls, steven universe etc. 3D and 2D are just different styles of the same medium, 3D isn't a straight upgrade even if it became decent enough.
there is no need to simplify Japanese. That's liek how Americans are trying to force Common Core math because normal math is too hard. This just makes people dumber.
It wasn't that bad, it just became a
Pointless, not much besides that.
Scared background girl and ponytail Chika.
Are they fucking kidding me? Did an ESL write this script?
Loli Haruhi and John Smith managed to sneak in the school to write weird ass ayy symbols and in Aku no Hana the mc and the batshit insane girl did the same and made their classroom a freaking mess.
That shit is pretty common in anime also learn2english, fucking spic.
>Anyone who uses "sneaked" is stuck living in the past.
I think you mean "sticked" living in the past
>being so absorbed on the shitposting that you start replying to your own posts
>Make a claim that someone said something
>He quotes himself to show that he didn't actually say that
>Get assblasted and default to smug anime girls
If you're going to funpost, at least use a better girl.
No, because the thread is being derailed
I went to a fairly nice public high school that had an indoor pool on the campus that was privately owned and you had to pay to use it. The school had 0 clubs except sports teams; I thought all American schools were that way? Non-sports clubs seem like a totally foreign concept to me.
Chika looks twice as cute in the manga version
I didn't like they keep spamming musical term like the viewer already know it, even worse the mystery revolved around it. I afraid i cannot follow the show seriously if they keep doing it
We all know eupho players are the best girls
Indeed, but she plays bass chubah.
Chika is Akatsuki when she becomes a true lady
The reveal near the end made me lose a lot of respect for Haruta.
Not so much that he was gay. But that he staged the entire graffiti thing in such an unclassy manner, and then "solved" the case when he was evidently just feigning ignorance and knew the answer all along.
>the FMC rival in love is her childhood friend and is a boy
It is actually funny to be honest
I think it's more like there has to be some kind of conflict going on. There has to be other things going on besides romance. With sports or fighting series there's plot and non-romantic character interaction that gives the viewer a broader understanding of the character's personalities. If it's like "oh, I love you please notice me" then that's not very interesting.
>Only homophobes care about gay characters
>Homophobes are happy as long as their sexuality and OTPs aren't threatened
>Want to pander to homophobes --> Don't have gay characters or only as comic relief
>Don't want to pander to homophobes --> Do whatever you want, no one else gives a fuck
>Homophobes care about gay characters
>SJWs care about gay characters
>Everyone with muh important opinions cares about gay characters
>Want to pander --> Must simultaneously pander to SJWs, homophobes, and everyone else --> Gay character can't have flaws (SJWs), screentime (homophobes), or any unmarketable or controversial qualities (everyone)
If he didn't, that means that there's another crazy kid in love with the teacher.
At that point, I wouldn't be able to take the writing even a little seriously, so I'm going to pretend he did write it and that's his way of confessing to the teacher.
Chika is perfect.
>sensei just wanna go back to work, fag
For starters people watch/read this sort of Sol series with opposite sex MCs for the possible vanilla high school sweethearts romance between the two
Fujos don't watch these kinds of shoes for the gay shipping, that's what sports and shounenshit anime are for
>Cute girl love her sensei
>Faggot is gay for his sensei
Fucking PA works. How low are they going to copy Kyoani? Literally hibikek for faggot.
Maybe PA works will rethink their company direction of actually animating a faggot version of Euphonium and actually greenlit Shirobako S2.
Why would they not do something that they are good at instead of copying Kyoani and going after the fujoshit market?
Great first episode, got a couple of laughs from me.
So all the butthurt about this show is due to the fact otaku feels it's not otaku pandering and amy target the fujo/otomeshits market instead.
Leave the girls have their shows. they also have money to buy BD and figurines.
>The target is normals
This is an anime that airs between midnight and 2 in the morning. "Normals" don't have the patience to stay up, let alone record a shinya anime
Light novels tend to use a more restricted set of kanji, release a volume every few months, have a canon set of character designs, come with illustrations and are named [Series] volume #.
A real novel doesn't have illustrations, comes out less regularly (Haruchika has 5 volumes since 2008), more likely have a longer pagecount, and each book tends to have a unique title.
The novel is for normals is what I meant.
That's an entire different story though, the setting is not Japan, and they were literally modified to act like bonobos.
Girls being gay is considered a phase, guys being gay is considered deviancy no matter their age.
Soulja boy is the weeb man.
That's a tough one, OP. I'm torn between liking the design and some of the comedy elements and not wanting to rewatch Hibikek with added faggotry and no GodAni magic.
Megane is one of my biggest turn-ons, but those glasses are ugly as shit.
I like the premise and mix of genera but the animation and character design are pretty bad. The first episode's mystery was a little underwhelming for English speakers considering it dealt with some sort of knowledge of Japanese language, but there were a few positives to how the mystery was revealed, with the detective like character being inspired by the actions of the less witty sidekick. I really like the coming of age story vibes I'm getting from it too, with the main character's shared crush and how the heroine is trying to change herself. Long term, how interesting the gay character is will be important. If the show deals with the drama and frustrations of a gay adolescent it could be very interesting. On the flip side, gay characters are very hard to write for most people since they haven't been close with very many, so it could end up a mess character wise.
If someone's translating the light novel I might just read that instead.
>not being a band geek
