Is this show just a ripoff of saekano?
No it's not. Koya goes in depth with the visual novel or Bishoujo games industry, it's Meta show to the core. Saekano on the other hand is just your typical harem romcom LN. If you want to compare, Koya is like the manga Bakuman. People seems to like Saekano because Maruto wrote it, but for me Tanaka Romeo did much better job at the same concept of making a doujin Bishoujo game.
Have there been any stitches done yet? I'm being retarded and can't find the last thread on archive.
There's an ass rip you can use with the raws.
I hope Satomi Akesaka delivers. She has limitless potential.
Best girl has already been decided.
I've never played a Romeo game since I don't feel like my japanese is ready yet, but I can kinda see the hype after this episode. It felt really refreshing and actually fun, for some reason. How does he do it?
Too bad the subs are shit, though.
>expecting all those VAs to do eroge roles
>expecting HanaKana to do an eroge role
This was better than expected. Having the main girl be a cool beauty is always a good thing, but the other girls seem good too.
Even if they're just the typical genki childhood friend and the typical fujo.
You will always have her screaming. It's too bad she's not in the League of Legends Japanese dub, almost all the noises each character makes when they get hit is essentially moaning
>Saekano invent Eroge making anime
I just thought she was kind of chuuni. She talks like one.
I'll give you a hint anon.
The best girl never wins.
>Genki childhood friend never wins
Dolphins are fucking terrifying.
>watching the anime when the superior VN is coming out
>doubting Romeo in any way
If you'd read the VN trial and some interviews, you'd see that it's almost nothing like Saekano. I'll even tell you the details.
Saekano is a show about girls with a doujinshi creation at its background. The focus in put on the girls, their relationships with Tomoya and past things that happened between them. When it depicts doujinshi creation, it's all idealistic and self-congratulatory.
Shoukomeza is about VN creation first and foremost. The latter parts (which the anime won't cover) will have plenty of drama surrounded with VN creation, which you can see in the "coming soon" segment at the end of the trial. The trial itself is all about Sayuki gathering people to make the game with.
If you want to say Romeo ripped-off Saekano, at least use Otaku Masshigura, that's like a Saekano rip-off with cosplay instead of doujinshi. Romeo wrote in it 2006 (lot of foresight on his part).
>written by Romeo Tanaka
I never checked who did this one. I'm totally in for this.
>2010 was six (6) years ago
Holy fuck, it feels so weird.
Anyway, this show seems comfy as fuck. I hope the bro wins.
>cute and genki tomboy who's voiced by HanaKana
>a girl with long black hair and autism
>that cheap animation quality
Not going to drop this either. Hopefully the Saekano comparisons will end at some point because holy fuck I don't want the threads for this show to become like the threads for that.
I liked the G string refrences
I kinda thought his looked like one.
also though piss yellow subtitles were hell.
Right now Looseboy isn't that popular, but back then he was popular as fuck.
It's by Tanaka Romeo.
He wrote Kana: Imouto, Kazoku Keikaku, Natsuyume Yawa, Cross Channel, Saihate no Ima, Junrui wa Suitai Shimashita, AURA, Ken to Mahou no Fantasy etc.
He's indeed most excellent at stringing words together, but some of his works were translated. Quality of said translations is another issue.
Jinrui wa suitaishimashita was that one. Here is a page from the first LN if you know japanese to confirm this grade S grammar meme.
>Is this show just a ripoff of saekano?
Just got done watching and no, it isn't a rip off if it does everything worse. Less fan service, less story, less interesting characters, less interesting MC, less animation, less colors and worse writing.
I guess some people would say that writing and story are the same thing, but I disagree here. In Saekano, the girls were well rounded in their likes and dislikes while taking actions to further their own means without the MC being involved. That is an example of good writing, but the story is the ultimate goal that pools these characters towards their ambitions, which Saekano did better. In Saekano, each girl was an opponent to be won over by MC-kun, in Shoujo-tachi the cast feels like same minded goal pursing people, who magically found each other and everything was honkey dory.
The tension should come from conflicting views and goals which Saekano did amazingly at. In Shoujo-tachi, I can already foresee the forced DRAMA signs creeping up on the series that runs rampant in other shitty harems.
>Is this show just a ripoff of saekano?
Basically they want to be Shirobako of galgame industry, not Saekano.
I want to bully her.
>In Saekano, each girl was an opponent to be won over by MC-kun, in Shoujo-tachi the cast feels like same minded goal pursing people, who magically found each other and everything was honkey dory.
It's called "friends" anon, no every female should be friends with MC only because she's after his dick.
Also read the thread before posting, it's been already explained that Saekano and this have nothing in common other than that characters want to create a game.
>all that shit taste
Go on sadpanda if you all you want is to see a girl being fucked
That VN has great chracters and interactions as well as interesting premise, dropping it solely because it doesn't have sex scenes is dumb
The character interactions are great, plus the MC is way better than Saekano's. As expected of Romeo.
Could do without all the obnoxious references to "you know what yuri is? It's an otaku thing!".
At least the MC didn't care or know about it.
And Rewrite, which has an anime airing this year.
Would you watch this social phenomenon?
mfw i dont know who is romeo, and why people highly praise him.
i only want to give a shot to this anime, since i see this in minatosoft page more than 6 months
and yes i'm a minato-fags
