You probably already know how to use a middleman but in case you don't or someone else reading is interested I've used yoybuy and it works. The figma line is really going to shit recently. The price increases over the past couple of years I was OK with. The quality improved massively and you got a good bunch of accessories. Then they started with exclusives. Now the prices are still going up except they're cutting back on accessories, making them exclusives and the quality isn't getting much better.

I've all but given up on the line now. I've only been picking up the KanColle ones. Those still seem to be good value.

It's much harder to scam with EMS shipping. You're also much less likely to deal with complaints. And also with flat shipping they don't have to bother with calculating and verifying a payment. Which is why they don't offer it.

They went with the simplest least risky way to ship. If they had more options for shipping it would cost more, but it wouldn't necessarily increase sales.

If you sold things online you would know this. If you offer snail mail international shipping you'll get more sales, but even one $200 scam will set back a ton of profits. If you sell only 3/4 as much, but get no scams it's worth it sometimes.
