Are you going to try and see Kizumonogatari when comes out since it is getting released to some theaters in the US?
Yes, already bought my ticket.
Reminder for fellow Germanfags
>16.01.2016 Hamburg – UCI Mundsburg
>17.01.2016 Berlin – CineStar Sony Center
>23.01.2016 Köln – Cinedom
>24.01.2016 Frankfurt – CineStar Metropolis
>30.01.2016 Wien – UCI Millenium City
>31.01.2016 Nürnberg – Cinecittá
>06.02.2016 München – Mathäser
I'm hoping that the combination of Monogatari being less of a kiddie meme series than most and my telling people to shut the fuck up will make it so that I don't have to deal with too much autism when I go see it.
So, USA and based Germany are getting Kizu, is there any other country getting it?
>tickets are probably going to be released when sleeping or working and it will be sold out
>tfw from UK
>tfw everyone else here will have a fun time while I wait 6 months for subs
I'm gonna try to see it in theaters on release day. How are aniplex subs and how many disgusting weebs can I expect to be associated with?
Do you think they'll have any showing in the Detroit area?
If not I'll just blame it on the niggers like everyone else here
>people talking/clapping mid movie
I don't know if cinemas are this bad everywhere else, but every anime release around here is 10x worse than the normal cinema experience.
I'll probably be seeing this in one form or another in theaters
with my girlfriend.Don't you have any friends to go with? It's not like they needed to see the rest of the show, it's just a movie.
Its fucking hell living in 3rd world country.
>tfw i'm 1h away but am too afraid of other humans
>Theaters never plan more than a week in advance
I wonder why. In germany they are like this too
>afraid of other humans
Screw your fears.
This event is something special!
If it wasn't an adaptation and I didn't know the general gist of it then yeah. But I have to reason not to wait for the bluray to come out and just watch it at home, it's the superior viewing experience.
If there's 3 movies instead of 1 that means there should be 3x the Shaft OP/EDs. It could be worth the extra admission price unless they're shit like the TV Shinobu ones. She's still not going to sing, is she?
I'm not an expert but I remember reading that theater managers figure out their schedules themselves. Showing films costs money and ticket sales is probably a really reactive marketplace. I'm guessing to stay competitive they have to optimize showtimes for biggest probably payout on a daily/weekly basis.
I'm gonna go on a whim and say it's gonna show in the same theater that Rebellion and the Anohana movie aired in.
Who's gonna be there at the Littleton CO showing if it does end up there?
I find that hard to believe, anon.
>yfw she sings this time
>yfw Araragi sings instead
Explain yourself. People pay money to go see movies because the theatre is theoretically the ultimate watching experience, provided you get decent seats. What makes you think sitting at home on the couch with your 42"LCD and tinny sound bar could compare to the fidelity of the purpose-built film setup?
In LA, I know Downtown Independent, where I went to watch the Madoka movies, also showed the Love Live movie. They'll most likely show this too, but tickets aren't up for reservations yet.
Where are you guys getting your copies of Kizu from? Amazon says they're temporarily out of stock and I want to get and read one before teh movie. Does anyone know when they'll get new ones?
they're literally just playing a bluray disk and projecting it onto a large screen, that's what these anime movie showings are. If your argument for a better viewing experience is "DUDE IT'S HUGE" then it's shit.
>tfw Australian so my hopes of it screening haven't completely disappeared but at the same time know it won't happen
In germany do I need to enter as soon as the OVA-special starts or only at 11:30? Because my ticket says Kizumono but according to their website the special starts at 11:15.
I'm confused and scared. Haven't been to a cinema since years.
Because your home setup doesn't make you deal with going out, getting parking/public transit, obnoxious retards, overpriced food and tickets, floors your feet stick to, shitty bathrooms, and being unable to pause if you need to among other things. That shit ain't worth it if you can get the media otherwise.
>I fucking hate people who enjoy "animes" if you catch my drift
Fucking this, I'd go but I dont want to be around you disguating, annoying faggots. Especially in an enclosed area.
Also, I dont want to have to go to a movie thats split in 3 parts so some chinks can make more money.
Source? Wouldn't they master the theatrical version at its original resolution and have it transferred to physical film, then downsample it later for the BD release? That's how most theatrical animated movies are.
Even on the off chance that it's literally a blu-ray disc, I've read about industrial upscaling. Your home shit doesn't touch this. Not to mention the theatre's perfectly calibrated sound system.
Not up yet.
>Literally no one: The Post
I will go there.
I can't wait for it
It's like looking into the mirro, isn't it?
Did you see how much Hanekawa's oppai jiggle in the PV? I can't wait for the 3rd movie when
Hanekawa is braless and Kiss-shot's boobies flop around as she fights. It's gonna feel disgusting sitting there watching it with you guys.
Do you think they will show it somewhere near san diego? if not, any san diego/ramona area fags wanna petition a theater around here to screen it? I'll fucking sign it in a heartbeat.
Dear God all this Shinobu.
I cant handle it.
Consider going to Berlin for this. Don't know if it will be worth it for 29 € for train ticket and 10€ for the movie for 45 min.
Anyone knows when there will be torrents for it?
Fuck man, For Rebellion, I even bought tickets for the SF showing and setup a little website for people to coordinate going times.
Day of, I pussied out because I didn't want anyone to see me watching anime.
Only downer is that most of the year is going to be shit until the next part of the movie or LN IF Nisio writes more for this year.
>not sacrificing the last remnants of your dignity in dedication to your waifu
>the site says Coming Soon
So then isn't it obvious that we don't know either?
>no theater release in europe
>I'll get spoiled by americans
Guess no /a/ for me for a few months when it does
The stick figures.
Check any spanish speaking forum. That type of drawing is quite common with "fallen love birds," which compose most of tumblr's population.
I'd do it for her, regardless of her form
If it makes it anywhere near me, it's going to be Boston. And FUCK driving through Boston. Not even for you, Shinobu.
