WE DRIFT THROUGH THE HEAVENS
Those Engrish lyrics sound so awkward, but dammit I love the song so much.
S;G0 translation when?
Drama disc Alpha video when?
In one of the 6 alpha world lines they definitely fucked, anon.
I'd imagine it would be very difficult for both of them if they did end up fucking. You know, they'd be cucking the person they're trying to bring back to life and would undo their relationship in the process
Actually the Epigraph manga confirmed it too, I'm just completely retarded. I can't remember exactly what was going on when I did this chapter, but I think the JAST/Our group terminology debacle was still going on and I did a lot of flip-flopping with Chondria/Condoria, Ruka/Luka, Christina/Cristina, etc.
At least now everything's settled down it's well and consistent.
I don't think it was named in English in the first game, but I may be misremembering.
Actually I just checked later in the chapter and we've got "Victor" and "Condoria" used in two instances of the original text, so it was even inconsistent on the Jap end too.
As for the next stream, maybe later today. I've got a few things to take care of. I'll just be starting from the prologue again and probably won't do a line-by-line translation like last time since that ended up taking a long time just to get up to the party.
And about Drama CD Alpha, I gotta talk to my video guy about it, we've both been side-tracked over the holiday season, it was meant to be out a few months ago already.
Oh, I just realized you might've been asking about the translation.
JAST didn't apply my final revisions, so some terminology and song titles ended up being off.
In the JAST patch, it's "Victor Condoria University", I had intended for it to be "Victor Chondria", but they never applied the revisions.
Man I'm running up a bit of a backlog here, but I've been busier with things bigger than manga and some real life activities too.
I do have the scans for the last few volumes, though. I'd like to get around to both Babel and Arclight (even though Zero retconned some of the finer details) this year, we'll see what happens.
So, Steiner, this is what you said about Zero before:
>expecting Phenogram-tier milking, a crummy cash-in on three pretty decent novels
Why did you think the novels were only decent, not good, great or masterpiece?
Might as well spoil the whole Epigraph now.
Oh I meant that in a good way, I enjoyed the novels thoroughly and thought they were pretty good.
As far as spoilers go, one of the routes in Zero did pretty much adapt the Epigraph Trilogy with some slight modifications, so it's a bit soon to go flinging spoilers around.
I actually really liked her involvement in the plot, the fact that
her roles differed wildly depending on the World Line was also very welcome. The end of her route made me very sad, even if the route itself was confusing as fuck.
The original had to experience his Renaissance in 2036 first, then inform his past self of what he realized. That past Okabe then experienced Vega and Altair, finally aligning the pieces required for Operation Skuld.
Skuld was created from Helheim and Arclight, then appended by Altair.
Maho definitely lusted for Okabe. But Okabe never cared for anyone other than Kurisu.
This scene should explain this all too well.
Even when the world was about to be rewritten he went to search for Mayuri and Suzuha instead of spending his last seconds with Maho.
Oh man I translated those ages ago, I really oughta redo them.
I know where "the present" is.
In truth, "the present" doesn't exist at all.
That which we call "the present" melds quickly into the "past".
In the end, it all equates to "Zero".
The only routes NECESSARY for True End are Rinascimento and Vega & Altair, but they're all written in a way that allows them to be open-endedly recursive. And honestly Maho's route was largely a snoozefest, I'll have to go back through it to check on that, but the whole theme of Maho's route was the whole "Amadeus is Kurisu" thing.
Yeah, might as well. They were on my previous youtube account before it got assblasted by 5pb., so I'll definitely wanna brush over them once or twice though since they're older stuff.
I'll probably just put it up on soundcloud or something.
I would've felt like they were insulting my intelligence if there were any routes in Zero where Okabe looked for a new place to park his meat. I'm glad they didn't go down that path.
HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES MUST I BUY THIS FUCKING GAME BEFORE THEY RELEASE OTHER SCI;ADV TITLES GODDAMN
>started reading mangas
>okabe is depressed as fuck
>everyone misses his old self
>gets the chance to meet kurisu again
> she isn't real and doesn't remember anything for the 3rd time
>he misses her and wants he back so bad
I don't like this world line, it's killing me.
It turns out that alpaca commander was a Sern agent all along. Everything Okabe told him he reported to them, that's how they always knew exactly what he was planning.
>americans get a a fucking calendar
Buy it anyway
they actually make sense, the english is alright.
But pic related shouldn't be allowed
so the "canon" routes (those who really had to happen) are the Vega & Altair one, the Amaeus one and the True End one (in that specific order ?) ? I thought that all route actually happened before Operation Skuld was created, and that every route, Okabe would send a d-mail to his past self, or something like that
I believe so yes. Although you would either use normalfag or normie for the same kind of person on an English-speaking image board.
It's not like normal is an direct translation either and I haven't heard it been used in this context either.
I can't help but think that it was solely to not use the word fag.
Pretty much, yeah. The way the routes are written is that all the other routes could have just as easily happened before the True End, but the only ones explicitly stated to happen in canon sequence (and the ones that will likely be animated), are Vega & Altair and Rinascimento.
While I'd have preferred normalfag or normie, JAST insisted on "normal", probably because of the -fag suffix not being prevalent outside of net culture (though to be fair the whole point of the TIPS system was to explain net culture and other things to normal people, so they could've chanced it like that). I've heard it used in the context before, for what it's worth.
I can't say anything about that just now.
He doesn't want Mayuri to depart.
I'd like to say this is huke art, but something is slightly off
>I'd like to say this is huke art, but something is slightly off
It is not. It's 2C=GALORE mimicking huke.
He never met Maho in Arclight Canon, became a normie with no desire to rescue Kurisu at all. It's in character with that development, he's masking pain behind that anger.
An anomalous existence, just a girl lost in space-time.
I can't say anything about that right now, but it's unrelated to SciADV VNs.
So, are you ever going to post Zero's musica themes on youtube?
Or there's something else in the works doe your channel?
Normalfag Okabe doesn't want Mayuri to go back in time and convince herself in the past that Okabe needs a harsh bitch slap.
So he tries to fight a hardened soldier who served in WW3. It goes about as well as you'd expect.
>tfw when this ended in nothing
There goes all my theories
I wish I could be more clear about it but this industry is terrible as fuck for things like this.
Yeah you caught me. Chiyomaru wants me to voice everyone.
