Even if she didn't, she still couldn't compete with best girl.
Shit thread. Where's the YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART
My girlfriend can't be a runaway ninja.
Would you watch it?
This was pretty fucking funny and clever at the same time.
Would you kidnap and do lewd things to nancy-san?
Is there any chance of a continuation?
I'd like to see Yukano treated of her communism.
I always felt that this anime was a kind of strange, elaborate joke. Sure, I mean - the LNs are kind of crap. But this story begged for some kind of hyperactive, over-animated, crazy fight scenes. You know, something Redline-ish.
I've read the manga (the one done by Akumetsu's author) and it's a lot more traditional with elaborately-detailed fights, scarves made of energy (Ninja Slayer himself doesn't turn up quite as much; the origami girl is the protagonist) and Japanese nationalism.
Then there's GLAMOROUS KILLERS, which is possibly the best title ever, but it's gay as hell.
Yeah, as fun as the anime was, I REALLY wish the anime looked as cool as the manga. It would have been more popular, too. We probably wouldn't have had those EDs with that budget, though.
ONUSHI NO INOCHI DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Reminder to thank translator-san for his subarashii* work.
*TL Note: sugoi
The chances are decent, since Trigger doesn't seem to care about the sales. The main problem here is that part 2 is twice as long as part 1.
>(Ninja Slayer himself doesn't turn up quite as much; the origami girl is the protagonist)
In volume 3, sure. She does not appear after that, volume 1 is all Ninja Slayer, and volume 2 is a pretty even split.
>I always felt that this anime was a kind of strange, elaborate joke.
Nigga, you and people who didn't pick it up because m-muh animation.
Sure, I mean - the LNs are kind of crap.
I disagree. If you mean prose, then that's subjective. Story wise, koki arcs are never bad. Ns himself is supposed to be opm tier: a caricature of cliche character.
Have you actually read the ln? I still recommend it. It's just fan translation had always been lackluster.
Just imagine a whole season of nothing but Koki.
It's damn great.
By the way, here's a write-up about all the manga adaptations so far:
>haha look how ironic we are
OPM does the same while still having a quality manga and animation while the whole premise of the NS animation is that it's bad and has lolsorandom humor
Koki is pretty great too though.Too bad about the shitty Amnesia arc.
>The main problem here is that part 2 is twice as long as part 1.
Well Part 1 was basically a 1 cour series extended to 2 cour because of memes. So they could still do it in 2 cours, they'd just need 30 min episodes.
She needed more screen time as Yukano to make people feel attached to her. She's supposed to be the most human of the heroines, but since we never had the chance to see that side of her, she ends up being just a pair of tits that Ninja Slayer chases after due to feeling indebted to Sensei. All of it could've been fixed if they had a proper Back In Black episode.
Wasn't Trigger gonna do a proper anime of this, or was I mis-remembering that? I thought this was a webseries and there was gonna be a "official" anime this year.
There is going to be the TV version this Spring, but we have no idea how different it's going to be. For all we know, they might just air two episodes per week and call it a day.
God, I hope not.
I mean, the Inferno Cop thing is funny, but the small bits of animation in Ninja Slayer is good.
I wouldn't mind more actual animation mixed more tiny amounts of still images.
It seems this thread's pitiful reply count could not save it after all.
Now then, allow me to behead you.
It can't be helped, there isn't much to discuss at this point. Hell, there wasn't much to discuss when the show was airing.
Since the manga has been released, how did people like Killzone Sumotori? I love the episodes that have normalfag protagonists, makes the series' cyberpunk aspect even more vivid.
The only thing I really want to discuss at the moment is the EDs, but that's just because I finally got them in the mail last week.
If not for that, I would just lurk and not post anything at all.
I am curious about what's happening this spring, but not enough that I'm going to bother speculating.
