Spoilers in 2 days. New episode in 6.
R.I.P. TSUKIKAGE we knew he was living on borrowed time when he challenged Sora now we know his death will scare Reira a bit, Serena will get ready to give up the duel in order to have the OF spare Reira being carded and just as she's about to make the surrender move, we'll hear Yuya activate an action card, then take the lp penalty (Thanks Reji) and the episode ends.
Post YFW you cum and bae doesn't yamero.
Remember when he almost died in Ep49?
He was great even then, based Sawatari saved him
Since we're dead here's something for discussion.
Rewatching the new trailer for the movie, I noticed that within the seven pillars there is the symbol of the millennium puzzle.
Now if we're to believe all of the manga canon, the millennium items are sealed and the puzzle can't be solved by anybody except if they have a pure heart or they will receive a penalty game and go insane and possibly die like with Yugi's precursors and Otogi's dad.
Millennium world arc proved that the Millenium items including the puzzle are all forged from gold as well as the corpses of 99 human sacrifices.
This is where things get interesting. We are told that Kaiba is searching for the Millennium puzzle and Aigami is causing mysterious disappearances worldwide. Going back to what I said previously, if Kaiba finds the Millenium puzzle and it is in pieces, he can't put it together since he doesn't have a pure heart like Yugi(and it took Yugi 8 years to put it together and I doubt he'll wait that long).
Since this is manga Kaiba, it isn't out of the way to presume that he brought in Aigami to forge new Millenium Items since he can't solve the puzzle by himself even if it requires 99 human sacrifices. This is also supported by the fact that the puzzle Yugi is holding in the new poster DOES NOT have the same structure as the manga puzzle due to the construction of it.
The 7 pillars could be representative of the 7 items and the smaller pillars could be representative of the human sacrifices (I counted and there are 165 pillars)
So we are left with 2 possible choices:
1.Kaiba and Aigami are killing humans to resurrect Atem
2.Kaiba is somehow putting the puzzle back together but Aigami is gathering people for ritual of some sort.
What do you think?
I assume it would go
>Reira, Serena and Tsukikage vs Obelisk Force
>Obelisk Force take a bunch of damage
>Tsukikage gets carded
>Yuya gets involved to defend Reira and Serena.
>Barrett gets involved because Yuya did.
Obelisk Force completely countered Serena's strategy the last time with anti-Fusion cards, and Tsukikage getting carded would affect Reira so much that it would affect his dueling. So Yuuya
Reira won against Security because Plot Induced Stupidity on Security's part, not skill. The duel bent over backwards to make Reira win by not only making Security misplay so hard (like putting the monster with 600/2800 stats in attack mode) but giving him the perfect hand.
Besides, Security suck compared to Obelisk Force. The only duels I remember Security actually winning were off-screen against Sawatari. Meanwhile Obelisk Force carded 7 Youth Lancers, the Knights of Duels, Teppei and Michio.
>Since this is manga Kaiba, it isn't out of the way to presume that he brought in Aigami to forge new Millenium Items since he can't solve the puzzle by himself even if it requires 99 human sacrifices
Even in the manga Kaiba was an alright guy by the end of DM, not to mention the fact I doubt they'd let Takahashi make possibly the most popular character in the franchise a murderer in the big nostalgia movie
>the smaller pillars could be representative of the human sacrifices (I counted and there are 165 pillars)
I'm still hungry for synchros. where the hell is the next one? They stiffed me on vs Crow and I doubt the Obelisk force will be good enough to lock Yuya's pendulums or be prepared for thrashing his xyz and own fusion monsters either.
I just dreamt that Sawatari was yandere and it was great
If you want my opinion of what designs I like more, the bat magician girl look alike because I am a Batman fag and the female Chaos because at last a DMG that looks badass and based of Magician of Chaos, who was one of my favourite vanilla rituals
Sorry if I mispelled, I'm in a hurry
>Yugo and Rin snuggle each other whilst Yuya and Yuzu just hug.
>They notice what Yugo and Rin are doing to each other, as they both imagine in their heads that there doing it themselves.
Almost every thread until Dennisfag is carded.
Yuya will inexplicably be pushed into a corner by Barret, but then Yuzu will show up and save him!
The rest of the series will be Yuya and Yuzu hugging and engaging the bad guys in tag duels yay!
>they come to rescue Ruri and Rin
>they find only one girl
He knows that he can better entertain in ways other than dueling so he takes advantage of that
And even then he loses to entertainers and his counterparts better than himself.
>Fed up with all his counterparts, Yuri kidnaps Yuya after nomming Yugo
>At the same time, somewhere else, Yuzu accidentally presses the button that sends her to Academia
>Seeing Yuri with her Yuya, she uses her crude strength to rip Yuya away from him
>The entire Fusion arc is Yuya and Yuzu running around Academia and evading capture while freeing Ruri and Rin
>Then Reiji says this was all part of his keikaku
Reminder that Yuya will take Serena and Reira underground. Reminder that at the same time Yuzu will be looking for Yuya only for her to be captured by Yuri and taken to academia.
>Leo tries to forcefully recall Sora for some reason.
>Ends up recalling Yuzu since she has Sora's old duel disk.
>Turns out Leo put the forced recall thing back in Sora's old duel disk instead of Sora's new Academia duel disk because Leo anticipated that Sora would give it to Yuzu, thereby allowing an easy capture of Yuzu by recalling her... all according to keikaku.
>Clear Wing starts glowing after Yugo and Yuya repel Yuri, and Yugo tells Yuya to get on the bike
>They end up in Academia
>And then Yuzu suddenly appears
>She gets on the bike too, and they have a self-guided tour around Academia trying to find Ruri and Rin
>Yuri keeps on getting mistaken for Yugo and Yuya even though he's wearing an Academia uniform
>>Clear Wing starts glowing after Yugo and Yuya repel Yuri, and Yugo tells Yuya to get on the bike
is that before or after their collective heart attack?
I am starting to lose hope on seeing Crimson Fox before the 21st.
Truly, this show is really
entertainingif the only thing that makes people stay here is the desire to quench their thirstof a reunion of the MC.
>There will never be a Yuya shower scene like Kaiser's in GX.
Because the second this series starts to have a lighthearted theme, people start screeching about how dumb and childish it is. People didn't ZEXAL, the beginning of GX, or the first few Arc-V episodes for that reason.
Make it his chess board.
Even if he wins, I don't think Jean would let him get away with driving off this time. I think Crow succeeds in bringing Yuya back to his senses, but the duel is interrupted. Which is pretty much a win for Crow.
If Crow's LP doesn't hit 0 and lose, its a win for Crow that he doesn't deserve. Unless Yuri's first on-screen duel is against Crow and Crow gets easily BTFO and carded by Yuri, then that kinda makes up for it.
>If Crow's LP doesn't hit 0 and lose, its a win for Crow
Reiji put some goddamn socks on already its fucking cold you NEET.
Because I want Crow to lose to Yuya. If the duel is interrupted then Crow didn't lose the duel, thereby he basically won.
Its like when Yusei "lost" to Kiryu. His LP didn't hit 0 and there was no alternate win conditions, it was just "the duel ends because Yusei crashed his D-Wheel even though that probably would have been considered a loss if it was anyone other than Card Game Jesus". Yusei dueled a Dark Signer and survived, so he basically won since if he lost, he'd be dead.
>Because I want Crow to lose to Yuya
Fine, but I dont see how that effects anything else
>If the duel is interrupted then Crow didn't lose the duel, thereby he basically won
If the duel is interrupted nobody won retard
>Its like when Yusei "lost" to Kiryu
Completely different situation, Yusei was just about to lose and we knew for a fact he had no outs. If the duel is interrupted with Yuya about to have his life reduced to 0 by Crow you can make that comparison, otherwise they have nothing in common
I'd like to think his type doesnt stick around long
The thing is with both of your arguements is that Yuya and Crow HAVE to have a lose or win.
Its not going to be a tie in the first place. THey already had one inconclusive duel, they aren't going to have another, even the laziest of yugioh writers don't do that. Either Yuya wins or he loses, there cannot be any other result.
I never said I thought they were going to tie, I was just pointing out how ridiculous taking the duel being theoretically interrupted as Crows win regardless of context was
>If the duel is interrupted nobody won retard
I know that, obviously. I'm talking about in a non-literal sense. What I mean is that the duel is interrupted then it means there is no result, and if there is no result then Crow never lost (hence why the result is "no result"). While Yuya wouldn't be losing either, he still failed to beat Crow.
If Yuya doesn't defeat Crow, then he never defeated Crow. And if he didn't defeat Crow, then he lost in a non-literal sense. Officially speaking, the duel would have no result. which is undeniable. Only a retard would deny that aspect. Yuya wouldn't actually lose the duel (getting BTFO by Crow) but if Yuya himself fails to win (Crow getting BTFO by Yuya), then he failed.
Berserk Yuya and Yuri mimicking Jotaro and Dio's stand off. [Yuri is Dio and Yuya is Jotaro]
If too complicated, then have Yuri and Yuya chilling out in the school yard about to duel.
If Crow snaps him out of it and the duel doesn't conclude, then Crow basically won. Sure, he didn't actually win the duel itself, but he accomplished what he set out to do. It's more a win from the story perspective.
>If Crow snaps him out of it and the duel doesn't conclude, then Crow basically won
But that would have nothing to do with their actual dueling skills. He'd win at being a good person and friend, nothing else.
>but he accomplished what he set out to do
If Yuya interrupts the duel by jumping his bike off the bridge, he would have accomplished what he wanted as well, but I wouldnt count that as a win
When Zexal becomes the best series, nostalgiafags start liking other series, Reiji stops saying keikaku doori, Yuri stops kidnapping Ruris and takes up a life of ballet tapping, and Yuya and Yuzu stop calling each other's names.
I'm honestly glad if something like this happens, the tournament was a bore anyway, it just means we can focus on trashtown and academia more now that Yuya is going to Reira and Serena's location. Although I was kinda hoping for Yuya vs Jack rematch which isn't likely going to happen now.
Its fucking 4chan, of course there are people who would put in that much dedication and attention to detail to fuck everyone who contributed over.
I'm more upset that Crow isn't going to lose. If he wont lose to the main character in his plot-induced rage form, who will he lose to? Will he ever lose? How much more can the writers suck Crow's dick? Apparently one series wasn't enough, he has to shill Blackwings in this series too, even at the cost of Arc-V characters screentime.
He became a Signer despite the fact that he was NEVER intended to be a Signer. That alone outweighs any plausible flaws he had in 5Ds. It was supposed to be Yusei, Jack, Aki, Rua and Ruka as Signers while Crow would have been the non-Signer who is still a strong duelist in his own right. In that sense, he would have been the Jonouchi of 5Ds because he was the only normal one in the group.
The fact that his Signer Dragon is called Black-Winged Dragon speaks for itself. Its about as close to being a Blackwing monster as it gets without actually being one. Stardust Dragon wasn't called Synchron Dragon nor was Life Stream Dragon wasn't called Morphtronic Stream Dragon. Crow's Signer Dragon basically being a Blackwing in all but name proves even more how shoehorned he was.
Crow already ruined 5Ds so I don't want him ruining ARC-V. Nobody even wanted Jack and Crow back in the first place, let alone the other returning characters from GX/ZEXAL that we may or may not get. If we are getting Jack and Crow shoehorned, they should at least give us return characters from GX and ZEXAL because otherwise it would be 5Ds bias from Katsumi Ono because he directed 5Ds and now directs ARC-V.
By that point they already knew people would buy whatever Crow shilled even if they were bad. Seriously,Crow had a lot of bad to horrible Blackwings after the Dark Signers and even after hyping up and devoting a mini arc to Black=Winged Dragon, it rarely did anything good for Crow, and it wasn't even treated as a Blackwing monster AND it was a level 8, back then Blackwings didn't go into that number as easily as others making it even more of pain in the ass to summon, THEN they printed an even worse version of it in the manga. Now this Crow already has about 11 assault blackwings in his deck and almost all of them are shit. Take a good look Shunfags, because this is your future, Shun will start shilling horrible to damn near worthless Raidraptors if he hasn't already because people will be buy them just because of the character.
YOU KNOW SHAY'S RANK UP MAGIC
YOU KNOW WHO ELSE
WHO ELSE USES A LOT OF RANK UPS?
THE GUY WHO USED THIS
DEEPEST LORE CONFIRMED
You know, you're probably right. I'm glad I didn't end up recording myself.
Anyway, something unrelated, anons, I'm gonna mix an /a/ sings Trump Card video, I'll be around every thread, post a mega link with audio of your recording if you want to participate, deadline is february 15th.
>they killed Hokuto
WHAT THE FUCK
THAT WAS OUT OF NOWHERE
You have a wild, wild ride ahead of you, anon. It's a shame this is in the end a commercial for children, because arc-v has the potential to become the Evangelion of card games. Well, more like the Madoka of card games, with all the girls carrying magical jewels they don't seem to ever separate from and the dark sides taking people over.
Oh anon, didn't you know?
THE FUN HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN
Only 47 episodes to go anon!
Plenty of time for some good cardings.
Post only the best deck archetypes.
>even at the cost of Arc-V characters screentime.
Fucking hell, this is his second actual duel in the dozens of episodes he's been around. This duel is totally about Yuya and his development, Crow isnt stealing anyones screentime
>I'm more upset that Crow isn't going to lose
You keep talking like you've seen the script or something
I hate anti Crow memers who hate everything he does because of 5Ds, regardless of the fact he hasnt done shit wrong in Arc V
2, definitely. Kaiba wants his ultimate rival back, tries to rebuild the Puzzle, Yugi finds out, duels Kaiba to stop him from resurrecting Atem. Kaiba then learns that Yugi himself is worthy of the King of Games title, and then decides to help Yugi stop Aigami, the douche who is sacrificing souls for some sort of ritual that has to do with the Millennium Items.
>>Duel with Yuya over EGAO vs FOOD
That wasnt an actual duel, it was interrupted a minute or two in
I very much doubt Kaiba is murdering people after DM. He's a douche, but not that much anymore, it's arguable he ever was, Death-T in mind and everything. I think he likely has some leverage over Yugi and wants do duel him, if he wins Yugi rebuilds the puzzle so that Kaiba can have his rival back, if he loses Yugi shows himself to have been the true KoG all along. I dunno what the new villain might be up to, possibly stealing Atem's powers for himself somehow, maybe doing the sacrifices.
But have they ever driven a motorcycle?
Also, Kotori is literally a wooden plank, just with less personality.
All I said the potential is there, not that arc-v actually is a deconstruction series. But it definitely has a setting that would allow for that kind of story if the writers wanted to. The muh summoning method conflict, if shown in gory detail, would be tragically absurd, scenes of innocents being butchered and children dying in the parent's arms all over the color of some playing cards. And just amp up the Zetsubo on dark Yiya. hell, everyone gets a little bit too emotional when playing card games in this show. Give everyone a "mou hitori no boku", product of their own card game induced shcyzophrenia. The possibilities are endless.
I hadn't heard of it, thanks anon, i'll check it out. is it really Madoka-tier SUFFERING, though? because that might be a bit too much for me right now.
Oh god the Madoka "yuri degrades mub waifus" shitposter has made his way here. Well, let me tell you something, mister. Around here, we like Yuri.
That's it, you cross the line Dennis the Menace.
3x master of pendyuramu + vortex + rebellion + 3 kirin + other stuff i had around
r/f? how should i make this better
>1. Kaiba and Aigami are killing humans to resurrect Atem
Well Kaz did say the movie would be a bit dark but I'd doubt he'd take it that far. Then again, it's been said that Atem leaving caused Kaiba to slip back into his Death-T arc self so who knows? Kaiba's calmed down by the end of DM so who knows what he's up to know aside from building theme parks for orphans.
>2.Kaiba is somehow putting the puzzle back together but Aigami is gathering people for ritual of some sort.
This feels better than genocide.
>Kaiba finds the millenium puzzle
>He can't put it back together
>challenges Yugi to a duel, he wins and he puts it back together, he jobs and he accepts defeat and moves on.
The result of this duel will piss off Kaibafags since it's obvious Yugi is gonna kick his ass with Diffusion Wave Motion and Silent Magician lvl 8 taking out all three BEWD.
>Aigami watches the duel and learns the lore
>decides to sacrifice humans to bring back millennium items to his dimension.
>Yugi and Kaiba have to stop him
This sounds like something which would go on for 2 hours. 1 hour for Yugi vs Kaiba, 1 hour for Aigami.
It does make you wonder what that dimensional gauge was.
Cross Overthe line or did I Cross Over Accelthe line?
I like evil Yuri
I don't like Okada. I'm glad Urobuchi's show is going head to head against her Trigger show. Can't wait to see her get rekt
Only run 1 Dragonvein at most, it isnt that good
Same with the tuner, and you can search then both with pendulum call if you need them
All the sky arcs isnt worth it without an Odd Eyes fusion
3 wavering, its too good this format
One of these days Dennis, the dubs will call for your finale.
Also if I get at least Dubs, Shun's sister dies.Trips, Dennis dies instead.
Show must go on. Since you didn't get dubs or trips, I guess neither will get
to high five the sky.
Okay, I'm near the near the halfway point of zexal, Does Yuma ever get his own xyz monsters? Because his deck seems like complete nonsense without Number 39 Utopia and even then Kaito raped him pretty hard.
EVERYTHING IS HIS FAULT! I WANTED REVENGE FOR MUH RURI AND MUH HEARTLAND AND HE DENIED ME!
>I very much doubt Kaiba is murdering people after DM.
Can you really say that? Look at these eyes. What do they tell you?
That he really likes blue-eyes white dragon. Were his eyes even originally blue or was his design modified to better suit his iconic monster?
Oh, god, did he actually modify himself in-universe with plastic surgery in order to look more like BEWD?
>that cold dead stare.
He's either going to murder people or he's going full QUENCH MY THIRST YUGI in this movie.
Knowing Kaiba as the deranged sociopath that he is, it's probably both.
His eyes were always blue, It's just Kaiba's jacket, theme parks and jet(anime) which looks like the Blue-eyes White Dragon.
Makes you wonder what his Egyptian counterpart did with the dragon when it was in full physical form back in Egypt.
>KoA keeps it as Moonlight
>Every Moonlight card has "except "Maiden of the Moonlight" and "Black Rose Moonlight Dragon""
Lunalight isn't that bad, anyway
>have five celtic guard cards on my field
>three of them are sacred celtic guard
>attack with those three
>draw 15 cards
>5 of those cards are exodia
thanks for the help
>Moonlight is an actual thing
Since when do card names have to be actual things?
>Lunalight sounds like what some teenage Fanfiction writer would come up with
Teenagers fucking love talking about Moonlight, it's in Twilight, there was that vampire detective show called Moonlight. I'm sure its appeared in far more fan fics than Lunalight
I like how Lunalight sounds, Kardians fucking when Konami
I've been play testing Cardians. Can someone rate my deck? I have the main deck all set but need help choosing Extra Deck Cards. I would like to keep it pure Cardian if I can.
With Clear Mind.
you know you can clear any of these problems by just writing it "Moon-Light" right ?
there's no need to call it Lunalight.
But you know, Konami has been shittier than shit these days.
Well, looking at the member list, you tried making multiple accounts so that probably got you banned forever.
I'm guessing you made a minor infraction, but you got yourself permanently banned because you tried to make multiple accounts.
Just curious, how old are you?
The bigger crime is how Yusei often ignored her despite doing so much for her in the dark signers arc. No wonder Martha (why did she have to be written out, too?) teased him about liking her.
Not to mention Aki could have been set up for at least 2-3 plots after the Dark Signer:
-Improving at Riding Duel
-The Arcadia Movement
-Changing her perception of love towards Yusei
The last one is based on the fact that she fell in love with both Divine, and Yusei since they both "saved her", so she wasn't truly in love with either of them, just obsessed with them.
>rescues a young girl manipulated through mental and sexual abuse from a New Age cultist bent on killing normies with his psychic powers and consoles her after her Stockholm lover gets eaten by the embodiment of a dark god while having to relive memories of someone she cared about being electrocuted to death for wanting to be a good person
>fucks a gay Terminator instead
I wonder who got cucked hardest Aki or Asuka. The object of their affections turned out to be gay as fuck. Oh, boy i wonder how people will feel when Yuya and Yuzu stay platonic at the end of the series rather than romantic sealing it that only Yuma and Yugi will of been the only protags to get a chick and actually be turned on by chicks throughout their series.
If Yuya and Yuzu don't confess or do some blatantly mutual love shit by the end of the show I'm going to kill myself.
But that would imply they would see each other again, which will never happen :^)
Anime Asuka wasn't ever cucked. Fubuki only wanted Judai to fuck his sister because of his mad dueling skillz. Manjoume wanted to bang Asuka but he became a running joke in social circles after being booted off the island. She doesn't even get the opportunity to try and confess.
Meanwhile Yusei tells Aki to fuck off.
In a love triangle but settled with Yugi after Atem died
Some implied shit but Judai was homo for Yubel and Johan so it died
BUY BLACKWINGS stole her screen time but there is some implied shit so she has a 50/50 shot since Bruno died and she did say she would come back to Yusei
cucked by Astral, same with Anna and Cathy
Nothing can stop her, only thing that could stop her is shit writing at this point.
Aki and Yusei literally did not talk to each other, ever, at any time during the timeskip, nor at any period after the timeskip. They did not keep in touch in any way, shape, or form for a whole decade-plus.
Theres a special spot awaited those people in the shadow realm
That's why I posted it. You know he wrote it himself. What's funny is that the story has been around for 6 years and only has 18 chapters so you know the 200+ reviews are mostly bullshit. When I was writing a few years ago I was dropping a 5000+ word chapter a month.
It's like he's not even trying to pretend he's not self-promoting. He goes on about how edgy and special his fanfic is, but the majority of Yugioh fanfiction is maudlin bullshit just like it.
It's been a while since I wrote too, but I never posted any of it anywhere. What sort of stuff did you write?
My only complaint about cabbage-kun's design is that his pants aren't tight enough
and his boots aren't high enough.
Oh, so it's that time of the day.
I don't mind at all.
I mean I give him credit for having 300k words pumped out but holy shit the dick sucking that story is getting on that page is nauseating.
As far as writing goes not getting into crap I wrote as a kid like Pokemon fics and huge spergy crossover shit I've only published smut on the internet based on Gundam and Final Fantasy.More personal and original stuff I've written is based on two worlds that overlap each other. The first world I've been tinkering with for like 15 years since I was a kid. I finally started writing it late last year. I have a lot of spinoffs of the main story I've brainwarshed too.
The other world I only thought up 3 or so years ago at the most and I've actually put more work into it. Started the main story and have a lot of spinoffs started too. I have like 30 incomplete stories on my hard drive.
I actually have a Yugioh fic that I just finished the first chapter on. It doesn't take place in any of the official worlds and uses characters from my second world. I was using it to work out how their magic and personalities worked since they are summoners. I have a whole lot of plot planned out so I'll probably continue it but never publish it
Then I have all the smut I never finished or published. Soooo much
Thread was ded anyway. Would you rather have the nostalgiafags back?
you didn't play the spell
>cabbage for ants
On a side note, every time I think I understand Yuri's design, he shows up again and throws it off somehow.
Jesus, how can one cabbage be so lewd
anything would be nice tbhonest
He'd probably resist a lot, but I bet his skin is soft. And that he smells nice.
the MAN known as Gon wouldn't do such a thing!
I'm sure he'd come around after a while, but he'd never outright admit to liking it.
Yuzu is a cock craving slut, of course he would do that to her.
they havent even reached heartland yet, the cast will only grow
Honestly, it seems like the problem with the dub comes more from the writers than the actors. Liscio doesn't have the range needed for a protagonist and they still completely mismatched the voice for Skip, but other than that, I've got no complaints voice-wise.
What cast in heartland? As far as we know there's no one left in Heartland other than those resistance fighters who are probably carded right now, it'll be shitty writing if there were people still left in heartland out of nowhere.
Jack and Crow returning in Arc-V has been handled pretty poorly, although that's mostly just the entire Synchro arc sucking hairy donkey balls. Jack has nothing to do with the overarching plot; Yuya defeating him means absolutely nothing in the long run. Ironically, Crow hasn't been as bad, but having him defeat Shun and now be the one to face OmniYuya is stupid.
Crow vs Shun was bullshit. Shun caring about children came out of nowhere and him suddenly deciding to be friends with Crow at the end made no sense for his character at that stage. Shun should have won but kept the new sentiments he learned from Crow in mind and consciously resolved to bond with the other Lancers as his new comrades. Then we would've gotten Shun vs OmniYuya where Shun would have to struggle with what he learned from Crow and trusting Fusion scum to save Yuya. It also would've been nice development for Sora to choose to work with Xyz trash, showing that he really does value his relationship with Yuya and Yuzu over his ties to Academia.
Also Shun throwing a shitfit about Yuya summoning DRXD against him would be funny.
>Shun caring about children came out of nowhere
because a card game commercial should totally show a orphan falling to his death.
the Crow Shun friendship isnt entirely out of left field, they're both "rebels" fighting against overwhelming odds, which is more of a basis for friendship or understanding or whatever that was, than Entame or Reiji's scheming
>because a card game commercial should totally show a orphan falling to his death.
No, but Shun suddenly remembering that children used to cheer him on after that was dumb. Shun has never given any indication of caring about children before, and it would've made more sense for him to say something about the Resistance protecting non-duelists even when they were liabilities because it was the right thing to do. Even something about himself and a younger Ruri would've made more sense.
>the Crow Shun friendship isnt entirely out of left field
I agree, but I feel like it could've been written better.
>entire dimension gets invaded
>a rebel group forms up and fights the invaders, Shun being one of them
>kids, among others, cheer them on
>somehow Shun caring about children is surprising to you
>Yuya just started screaming
>He looks like he's is massive pain
>Huh, he seems to be on fire now
>He's acting like a violent jerk
>I get it, this must be some sort of Tops mating ritual
>Fucking Yuya really was a Tops the whole time
Reiji can sit on Ragnarok's massive thighs.
Shun didn't want Reira coming along as a Lancer since he felt it was no place for a child, albeit he never phrased it that way. IIRC, didn't Shun look concerned or at a bit differently when Sora summoned Frightfur Leo (or was it Chimera) in their first duel? Then again the last one might be me stretching for something that wasn't there.
The reason Shun remembering children came up all of a sudden because it had no reason to come up. Against Sora, Obelisk Force and Dennis, the main focus was about Heartland as a whole along with Ruri. Everyone else he dueled was either Crow (where it came up) or fodder (where it wouldn't matter).
I feel like the "children cheering him on thing" should have been written better. Perhaps if he mentioned it before Sora got BTFO by Revolution Falcon, or against Dennis in their first duel.
Shun probably had a lot of fans at his school/as a pro duelist.
>implying anyone would dare to be a Ruri fan with Shun around
>Shun didn't want Reira coming along as a Lancer since he felt it was no place for a child, albeit he never phrased it that way.
Pic related. This would've been a good moment to set up Shun giving a shit about kids, but he just bitched because he cared more about beating up Fusion than actually being concerned for Reira's safety.
>I feel like the "children cheering him on thing" should have been written better.
That's the point I was trying to make in my post. It was too rushed and had no previous buildup.
>Perhaps if he mentioned it before Sora got BTFO by Revolution Falcon, or against Dennis in their first duel.
I like these suggestions.
>implying he didn't ETERNAL AVENGE Yuto too whenever he tried getting close to Ruri
Trying out D/D/Ds, I am confused by Pendragon. It's got a strange alternate summoning condition for a monster from a purely Fiend-based archetype. I think Konami fucked up, unless we'rd one day getting D/D Dragon-type monster.
I think they also fucked up with Apocalypse, Chevalier and Pandora.
Doesn't look enough like it. He's a red cabbage. I've seen comparisons to flowers on Twitter because of his eyebrows, though.
