Well, we really have no idea if it will continue, since we don't know why the the universe's expansion is accelerating. It's a great cosmological mystery.

However, the whole reversing entropy business is irrelevant if that's the case. It's best to assume heat death is the final state in the Madoka universe, since that's the only scenario in which the incubator's work would be at all meaningful. Presumably, they would be looking for ways to slow the expansion of the universe if the big rip was the actual problem
