Kougyoku did nothing to deserve this. Despite she trying her best and blaming herself and cursing Sinbad she didn't fall into depravity.
Truly the best girl.
Thanks god the problem of Alibaba knowing about Zepar was quickly solved.
How can anyone still like Sinbad as a character at this point?
>there actually are people that prefer alibaba x Mor
Is Alibaba going to put all the Kou citizens on factories to build Shellphones?
That would be hilarious.
well, it was a country that ran off it's military with no sort of export/import
Farming is the more easier thing to do and all it requires are strong bodies, which Kou has by the truck loads from it's out of work soldiers.
Unless Kou has some other physical labor industry it hasn't developed because it was mainly focused on military.
why do people post things like this
So I guess Judar explained some shit to Yunan before he left to look for Hakuryuu. Too bad it was off-screened, I would have liked to seem them interact.
Probably a massive marketing campaign to change Kou from a former military empire into a massive martial arts exposition tourist attraction. A loophole around the whole no-army restriction, giving ex-military a job to do while giving outsiders something unique to see since 'lol, no military'. Then probably use the huge influx of money to invest in something outside the box like the fashion industry or something.
Judar is still obsessed with Haku's dick and it seems that Haku's come around, too. (Unless he got together with Mor during the time skip.)
I remember I kept laughing at how Aladdin was fucking him up by mentioning Judar.
>tfw you'll never live with Yunan and make love with him every night
I read the first volume of this manga several years ago and I stopped immediately because it seemed the usual shonen without anything interesting.
Lately, however, I saw that it speaks well of this manga on the internet and many say it is the level of Full Metal Alchemist. Should I continue it? It's worth?
Why is the Sinbad manga so much better than the main series?
Judar was all over Hakuryuu even before he fell into depravity, so there's a good chance that he would at the very least tolerate it.
In my opinion it's nowhere near FMA, but it's solid, the latest developments in the story have been pretty crazy. I think you should try to catch up, but if you don't like it, then stop, it's not that amazing.
I wonder if Alibaba could beat Mu and the other fanalis now without resorting to a metal vessel.
He was able to spar with Mu before, but it's hard to say how much of a power boost he got if all he takes down are mooks.
Thread is slow, so everyone post their favorite Magi character, preferably with a pic. I want to see which characters are popular on /a/.
They've had two separate chances to get hitched, and both times it never went through.
The first time it happened, Alibaba lost his country. The second time, he lost his life.
If it almost happens again, I can't imagine what Alibaba will lose this time.
Nah shota became too powerful and he wants the manga to be longer.
If the focus was on Aladdin he'd solve stuff in like 10 chapters and Ohtaka would be trapped in the MORE POWER, MORE (ancients) EVILS cycle.
What? Alibaba got more focus in Balbadd arc and is getting more in this one. The rest of the time it was Aladdin or Hakuryuu. Aladdin is the protag and Alibaba the deuteragonist.
>Sense are actually caught up
I never thought I'd see the day.
Guys, do you think it is at all possible for Magi to recapture the popularity it once had before the Alma Torran arc? So many people dropped the series during this period. Is there any chance it can get back its glory days, or is it now a long lost pipe dream?
>Morg assume Baba Ded.
>Journey for about 3 years with Hakuryuu who still love her.
No, even i
shipMorg and Baba at the begining. I don't think they're end up together in the end.
I think it will take 'Tom Hanks-Cast Away' route.
Threadly reminder that Jafar will certainly kill Sinbad during the climax of Magi. Guaranteed.
How mad you will be if Alibaba will end up with Morgiana instead of fish princess?
It's more likely that Aladdin will NTR Morg using his canon harem mc powers?
I hope he dicked her too.
I want Fish Princess to pull an Okomoto Lynn twist with Sinbad.
Alibaba should be foreveralone kings don't need wives.
No way is Alibaba killing him. It completely fucks over so much of relationships Sinbad has just for the sake of "MC KILL BIG BAD".
The prequel manga is basically like a TV gameshow for who will kill him (it's Jafar)
Jafar killing him is the most meaningful thematically, and smart commercially (because you gotta buy the prequel to fully understand their relationship)
Who can even defeat Alibaba now? Aside from a person with a really strong djinn equip that allows him to move and think faster than Alibaba pretty much anyone who will try to face him will be just toyed with.
>we have a file for that
/a/'s taste never matches nipland's 100 percent. Besides, I figure that many normalfag nips read Kingdom since it got its boost due to being talked about on a popular tv show.
His perception of time, and therefore how fast he can comprehend things, is probably second-to-none now. But I reckon something like Sinbad's Valefor will be able to find a way around that.
I like that she was always a psycho when fighting while also being a girly princess.
Slow motion is one thing, being able to pretty much freeze perception of time is another.
Unless opponent is sanic fast, Alibaba will be able to counter it. And coupled with djinn equip Alibaba is most likely one of the strongest characters now second only to top-tier mages.
>Ja'far's face when Baba kills Sinbad and takes his husbando away from him forever
He just barely defeated Alibaba last time. And even then, he got both of his legs burned off in the process. And considering he doesn't have Balial anymore, I don't think he'd b much trouble for Alibaba in a fight now.
Isn't it like that with most manga, though? Not everyone has something to say about the plot beyond "I liked it" or "I hated it" but plenty of people have opinions about what kind of romance is or isn't good/relatable etc.
>not much shipping
Shin has Kyoukai and imoubro (Karyou ten)
Ei Sei has Kou
Seikyou has Rui
Mouten and Ouhon
I think Sei's daughter is gonna have a loli crush on Shin too next timeskip.
Nobody can beat Aladdin, by now he's mastered dimension magic, he's untouchable. Even the Alma Torran people couldn't do shit against that because it was the ultimate pinnacle of magic created by Ugo and utilized by Solomon.
He'll be able to make tomorrow yesterday, and today next week. He can give you a handjob from across the planet.
Training for a few years is one thing, acquiring such a bullshit ability after being between life and death for more than 100 years is another.
It's like having an overpowered djinn equip active all time.
The only way she can balance two of them now is by denying Alibaba his djinn.
Unless Hakuryuu got some new djinn that allows him some limited time manipulation i really don't think he's going to pose any danger to Baba as he is now.
Aladdin is Solomon's fucking proxy. He became super OP after learning to use it a little bit, enough to overwhelm Judar who was powered up by Il Ilah and became quite a monster himself. It's been three years, three fucking years.
I love Magi regardless, but I think at some point Ohtaka simply struggled to balance adventure with story, and she eventually had to make a priority of one of these two aspects. And she evidently chose story. I'd say this became apparent around the Zagan arc.
This is probably the reason the Sinbad prequel exists in the first place, so that the people who were more fans of the early Magi days can read something that resembles that.
It's a shame because they have some really cute stuff occasionally.
Yeah also using it against Judar wasn't even hard on him. The only reason it was such a drawn-out fight was because Aladdin was trying his hardest to beat Judar into submission without just flicking him across the universe and saying "eh fuckit".
>mastered dimension magic
not on solomons level otherwise there shouldn't even have a final boss. I'm sure no matter what Osk will leave them on the same powerlevel because power of friendship and shit
I think she will. Hakuryuu's apex was most likely during the Gyokuen and Alibaba fights. Baba seems to be the MC of this arc, so we probably haven't seen everything he has to offer yet, even with this whole time perception thing. I fully expect him to be at least at Kouen's level (before he Room'd his limbs to Hakuryuu) by the time he gets a Djinn again.
I'm expecting Aladdin to be all nirvana about interfering in the world outside of Alma Torran's leftover troubles. He'll be sage wisdom character and leave the rest to the 3 real Magi.
No fighting anymore, he probably found a way to reach Ugo and is just chillin with him every day
Maybe he'll manage by himself. Or all the parallels to young Sindbad indicate that Yunan will give up being a hermit and becomes his Magi since Alibaba is kinda Sindbad's successor.
>not even prostitutes
>normal random hot citizen girls
He will announce that he will
marry her again. The news will create some buzz and economic turn around. They will use that small buzz to capitalize on it and make pacts with smaller nations and form their own It will be known as BRIK. Balbadd, Reim, I (unknown new country/kingdom), Kou.
He invents crossfit and turns all former soldiers into certified crossfit trainers. Then he sells crossfit franchises to gyms around the world and sends his own certified trainers to run them, all profits go to Kou.
Exactly. Why would Baba settle for second best?
While I admire the attempt to make something different, I can't quite get on board with how the author tries to shoehorn economic real world problems into the story. While she can show the basic problem, she won't be able to present some satisfying solution, as there aren't any easy ways out. Anything she may present as "the way out" will ring hollow or will have a bad aftertaste of seemingly pushing some political view.
Seeing these concept drawings, are you glad that Alibaba's family turned out how they did or wish they were different?
More like she just decided to change her personality completely.
She got told hard during her initial appearance and when she appeared again she suddenly turned into a moeblob.
Even if their arc was edgy as fuck it was still better than that long ass flash back arc.
oh yeah, that fight was so fucking fun to read week after week.
every week they were either kissing or biting each other so I kinda almost expected them to end up in hate sex lel
Ohtaka had many nice concepts. I still wonder how would magi look like if she had make Aladdin a female, like in the sketches
One thing's for sure, Judar's edge is pretty hard to heal.
>Sinbad shows him sympathy, Judar laughs it off (even though Belial dungeon reveals that he cares about his opinion somehwat)
>Fish princess wants to be his friend and gets rejected and left behind
>Kouha is homo for him and gets rejected and left behind
>Kind gets along with Kouen but decides to kill him together with Kouen in the end
>Aladdin wants to heal his edge but all Judar wants is to defeat and kill him
Maybe Baba succeeded where others failed, but Judar's a pretty hard nut to crack. As weird as it sounds, I think the one to heal his edge might be Hakuryuu in the end, simply because Judar is actually pretty devoted to him.
if the alma toran arc or the medium fight took literally months, how long do you guess the balbadd arc would had been extended with all of those concepts?
She probably is getting rid of many stuff because between writing the story and drawing it she literally has no time to include that many stuff. Which is a real pity, btw. I really wonder how would magi had turned out if ohtaka just writed it and someone else could had taken care of the visual part.
I think if each chapter was ~50 pages she probably could've gotten a lot more done. Bi-Weekly or even monthly she could advance things faster or give more details since she wouldn't need so many cliffhangers.
Oh, I'm definitely not all that sure that this will happen, but based on past events at least, Hakuryuu has the best chance of getting through to him. It's another thing entirely whether he'll want to after three years.
>advance things faster
You don't follow the snk manga do you?
I dunno, maybe she would have been able to handle the story in a better way, maybe she just sticks to weekly chapters because that's the best way she can handle them.
Imo, if for example the alma toran arc was published like some kind of extra story/manga (like aos or kinda) magi now wouldn't be so messed up now. This story it's just too much for 20 pages a week. No wonder why so many people got tired of waiting.
No idea. Anyway, assistants usually do things like taking care of backgrounds and some other small details. I'm for sure she does draw the most of it because the characters and the art in general keep her style.
Magi is amazing. Definitely FMA teir croosed with One Peice for the adventure feel. Reaad it all and don't forget the Sinbad spinoff.
In 2015 Kingdom was promoted on Ametalk tv show and finally got its boost which it didn't have when its anime aired. So yeah, bad comparison.
She hasn't presented a 'way out' of the situation yet, and she fully grasps that there aren't any easy solutions, so you could wait to see what ends up happening before making those claims.
>How can anyone still like Sinbad as a character at this point?
Oh no, a girl got mind controlled to end a war quickly and with less bloodshed even though the girl herself was planning to kill a guy to end that very same war quickly.
Also an empire that focused on militarization, slavery and conquest got fucked over when their leader decided to chicken out even though their entire plan hinges on succeeding or getting fucked over and now they're paying the consequences of their decisions. Obviously, this makes Sinbad the devil.
Molecule control. Sinbad will just slow his perception down to normal. Then it'll be a match decided by power.
I really hate confident Alibaba, betas becoming alpha self-insertable characters make me nervous and uncomfortable.
Like the the Gantz protagonist, I was always turning the page expecting him to turn around and see his girlfriend making out with some Hot Stud.
Dude the gantz guy was a HUGE cuck for the first part of it and I could never shake that feeling.
Probably because his character development wasn't coupled with any sort of dynamic artstyle shift or refocus.
He's always been kind of alpha to a certain extent. Right from chapter 2 when he knocks Budel the fuck out to save the little girl from that plant monster. He's honestly not that much of a beta (excluding the boat chapters), so much as he's just constantly surrounded by people who are so ridiculously alpha it's unreal.
You should be happy enough that it outsold Fairy Tail this year.
What fanfic did you read? Alibaba doesn't love Morgiana. He accepted what she said only because he desperately wanted a girlfriend. Mor's feelings have always been one sided.
Not really. The King was a stupid piece of shit who never listened to reason, and so was Cassim actually. He stormed the palace and removed his chode brother from the throne almost single-handedly. That, and he addressed a crowd of thousands to announce that Balbadd would become a republic.
Too bad he has shit taste in friends, though. Cassim fucked everything up even when there was no need to because muh darkness.
>he planted a djinn called zepar inside of me
>because of that, kou's civil war was totally messed up
>in the end, I hurt everyone
As if that civil war could have ended any other way than Kou losing and getting fucked over whether she was involved or not.
>Mor's feelings have always been one sided
No, you're wrong. Alibaba will return Morg's love with the power of shounen mango logic.
They will get married by the end of this, I'm telling you. No need to run away from the truth, anon. Just accept it.
You shipperfags read way to much into how objectively shallow Alibaba was in that boat chapter. I'm pretty sure Ohtaka just wanted a cute romcom relief act break for a change. Ohtaka clearly ships Alibaba and Mors, and they wanted to avoid falling into Sumomo's harem cascade again so they just added small moments like Mor being jealous etc etc.
But honestly that was so long ago and Mor has become so irrelevant that I wouldn't be surprised if Ohtaka veered off from the flags they set.
Hey remember Aladdin? That Magee guy? The 4th secret Magee?
>Sinbad with Baal can destroy mountain ranges casually as a kid
>Valefor can control molecules and slow down people and their perception
>Focalor can stop an extreme magic tidal wave with just its basic spell even though they're fighting on top of the ocean
>can even access black rukh for more power
>Zepar can mind control people or put mass amounts of people to sleep so even an army is useless
>fucker still has 3 other djinns
>Ohtaka clearly ships Alibaba and Mors
I state objective facts and you call me a shipperfag? Sorry but I don't see how she ships them, you have that impression because she's the main girl in love with a MC. It's almost like Kougyoku's crush on Sinbad.
Is Alibaba connected to anything from Alma Torran at all? For example:
Aladdin is Solomon and Sheba's son
Sinbad is David's reincarnation (or some shit)
Hakuryuu is Arba's son
Morgiana is descended from the Red Lions
Judar is/was a Magi for Al Thamen
Thinking about it, does Alibaba possibly have any relation to AT? Since every other important character does.
He tried to run the country but it was too shitty to begin with. People rebelled despite his best efforts. SSA had to step in to stop those rebellions. Hakuryuu felt like he couldn't protect his own country himself so he stepped down. All the shit got dumped on Kougyoku.
Technically, Arba isn't really Hakuryuu's mum, she only possessed her. But she counts as his adopted mother since the majority of Hakuryuu's life, she was the one who was possessing his blood mum.
It's not like that at all because of a lot of reasons, but also
>yfw Kougyoku actually ends up with Sinbad
His waifu slot empty, and if adventure of sinbad keeps going strong he may just survive the series.
Nah, it doesn't gave life to inanimate object or put opponents in loop of endless deaths.
Can move, but with great difficulty.
Okay, Ali isn't as destructive with his powers as DIO and his ability isn't literal time stop. Just the effect are kinda similar - huge mindfuck for everyone standing nearby. And at least for now it seems to be game breaking skill.
She didn't possess anyone, it's her true body. If Albaba has a relationship to AT then it's to Ugo.
I don't know about Sinbad but I am pretty sure Mor will end with Hakuryuu. It's the straightest romance story in this and they are traveling together since three years.
We tend to forget he was formally introduced amidst the beginning stages of an orgy
Please. He showed everything during the war when he flew above their heads.
He is shameless.
Mor/Hakuryuu seems likely only if they were together during timeskip. Their romantic plot wrapped up pretty fully and satisfyingly (even if a tad sour) before he became not!sasuke.
>Because of their looks?
I don't see it.
Still don't see it desu.
God, I sincerely hope Fish Princess wins the Alibababowl. She really deserves healing after all the suffering she's been through and we all know Alibaba is best at dealing with it.
Make my wish and pic related come true Ohtaka!
>Mor starts talking about how if he were still alive 3 years ago she would of fucked him everyday in many lewd ways she read about and what Psiti told her about.
>This while imagining the current mor who has become a bombshell of a beauty.
>Implying this won't be a vision shown to him by Sinbad through clairvoyance magic of what might have been had he only remained loyal to him, while in reality everyone he knows and loves is dead
>Girl who deserves to be happy being happy
haha nice one, here tell that to Sanae, she'd be hella salty if things go down like that.
She sees him as a younger brother and doesnt give a fuck about him.
He wants to fuck her/is in love but its too tsundere to do it.
Meanwhile Yamu is frustrated.
He just has a hard on for royalty.
why are there two animations for that scene? It is a dvd fix?
No, there's nothing.
Check out this though, it gives you some clues:
No, i mean this one.
took me a while to find it
How didn't she fall into depravity? It's almost the same thing as Alibaba's friend, she wants to kill Sinbad so badly yet she remains sane.
I guess the author doesn't give a shit about that part of the story anymore and wants to focus more about how sinbad is a smart villian while be able to control that crazy grandma from the times of david.
The author keeps fucking up..
You people don't seem to know the rules of manga/anime, if she doesn't blush she doesn't want the dick.
She didn't blush meaning she friendzoned him.
Who are these guys? I feel I should know yet they escape my mind somehow.
She's not cursing her fate. She's just kind of given up hope and accepted failure, even though it hurts. Depravity seems to need a more active component to it, a reckless desire to change one's fate on a fundamental level.
Alibaba is so shitty magic wise that they had to power him up even more by giving him that BS ability that lets him predict every single move that it's thrown at him.
The author is choking so bad m9.
David writing the story before its even begun
She did in the manga. By the end she started to become attracted to the Tiger boy. In the last chapter she lamented about how she liked strong guys while watching him train.
Her family actually became stronger by way of strong emotions. Because they are also bodyguards for MC's family they pretty much encourage unrequited love.
Dpes Alibaba's time perception shenanigans have any kind of time limit or he can just use them at any moment and for as long as he wants?
Because if there's no limits, his consciousness is pretty much immortal and he has all the time in a world to think about anything.
It's possible, she also still has her loyal advisors who also seem to be suffering as much as her trying to fix the country, one's less likely to fall if they're with others who are helping them as much as they can. Haku fell easily because he was completely alienated from everyone apart from Judar who was trying to make him fall.
I'm curious if he'll eventually lose this power or if he phases out of it slowly and so he wouldn't perceive things as well, though it'll probably work as good as it is now to end the series.
How popular is fish princess/Alibaba in Japan? I hope its more than Morg/Alibaba atleast.
I dunno if it was a joke thread or something, but I saw Alibaba was being shipped to those muscular ladies
Huh? He actually has a fairly decent magoi capacity and manipulation. Above average. Once he got serious with Hakuryuu he put him on the back foot, even with Belial. The only thing holding him back really is having a fairly weak Djinn compared to the likes of Kourn and Sinbad.
>To exact revenge after some time, the leader of the thieves establishes himself as a merchant, befriends Ali Baba's son (who is now in charge of the late Cassim's business), and is invited to dinner at Ali Baba's house. However, the thief is recognized by Morgiana, who performs a sword dance with a dagger for the diners and plunges it into the thief's heart, when he is off his guard. Ali Baba is at first angry with Morgiana, but when he finds out the thief wanted to kill him, he is extremely grateful and rewards Morgiana by marrying her to his son. Ali Baba is then left as the only one knowing the secret of the treasure in the cave and how to access it.
>HakuMor more popular than AliFish
All Beta's have an Alpha side, how about you grow a pair from time to time. It ain't acting if you step up at the proper moment, no matter how fake you feel.
'ensues fake being better monologue here'
