ITT: Anime everyone forgot about after they finished airing.
I got a fetish on wannabe anime detectives so I don't forget this title.
It wasn't bad, but the ending dropped the show from an 8/10 climax to a 4/10 disappointment in like 30 seconds.
Also featured one of the ugliest named female characters I've seen in anime ever.
It has a few really neat actions scenes, and considering it's one of the only mecha shows not to use horrid fucking CGI in recent memory, I can appreciate it for that much effort.
Was this even that popular on /a/ when it was airing? Also Barakamon.
The only thing I remember about Nanana is Tensai's HUMU and that HanaKana voiced a trap. Likewise, the only thing I can remember about Argevollen is JAYMEE HAZAFORDO.
Fedora tipping priest was the best character
>"i just wrote this book on how angels aren't real"
>"nigga there is an angel right there"
>"no this isn't happening i have to kill it"
I always post that in forgotten threads.
It was just fujo bait in the end, but goat was GOAT.
half the show was them accusing each other of being the seventh brave. I'm not exaggerating, half the fucking show that is all that happened, they got nothing done until the last episode when it was revealed who the seventh brave was and the show ended. I wish I could say I was spoiling anything but I'm not. I just gave you the whole plot.
Anyone else find Fremy, Nashetania, and Goldov's character designs to be really ridiculous? Goldov is literally angsty edgemaster with his dark clothes, belts, and chains, Nashetania is a walking bunnygirl in a corset, and Fremy's design is so flamboyant that I haven't any words for it.
Everyone loved railwars!
if you dont know nobody is going to tell you faggot
I reversed imagied it and used Google translate to get the name, in your face faggot.
i fucking tried reverse image searching it 20 minutes ago and its not finding anything if it wat that easy i wouldnt have asked asshole, use your head if i could get it so easy i wouldnt ask. can anyone tell me the source please?
i'm more of a fan of teaching how to fish
It deserved to be forgotten though
Dissapointed in you family
The only animus that seem to stay relevant and the ones with good girls.
I can't forget Kazumi and her voice.
>I'm not a try hard bitter faggot
Contempt for spoonfeeding isn't always a sign of being a bitter faggot. It's just reliable user-based moderation.
Also we have boards dedicated to that, faggot.
Was this the one with the witches and melting and scientist and life pills? Feels like its been ages since this anime aired.
As cheesy as it was, it made me a bit sad.
I am sure someone, somewhere in the world looks back fondly upon garbage like R-15, Dog & Scissors, Argevollen, Freezing, Okusama ga Seitokaichou, and Rinne no Lagrange. I literally just have to randomly look at my finished anime list and immediately spot 4 or 5 shows that fit this thread's criteria.
Someone has to love those shows, right?
dont laugh too hard sempai
next time, take your tough loving like a man
Lovelab was shit.
Dropped after episode 3.
Was this any good?
It went under my radar in 2013.
You're going to have to explain yourself there. Argevollen was so thoroughly unimpressive that I literally forgot about it the next day, like this thread implies.
Okusama wasn't even a particularly good blueballs show. Dog & Scissors was like "Let's drop the the ball as soon as the OP animation quality, so nobody will think much when we screw up the show as well". The only impressive thing about it is that it's somehow a prized Visual Novel, which says a lot about what kinds of Visual Novels are being written in Japan, then and now.
This anime is very forgetful.
I think I dropped it on episode 4.
Did it ever get any good?
I started watching S2 when it was airing and lost interest after 2 or 3 episodes. It was at its best when it was doing SoL shenanigans instead of having a plot. Lan was cute as fuck all the time though.
Inu to Hasami was SHINING. I loved it. Same with season 1 of Rinne.
Anime is garbage, I remember there were scenes where a character would reply to something that was said in the game, but not in the anime. It cut a lot of stuff.
Still not C;H tier bad.
It'll always be remembered because of RIFE ON ZA PRANET. It was really good by itself, too.
There was that one particular faceshot that everyone who watched it with /a/ remembers, from the ghost girl. I feel like over 50 variations of that were made just on that day alone.
I have to say, I liked it. Would watch another 4 seasons of, easily.
level e was hella good
Fuck you I loved it.
Cour 1 was the comfiest.
excuse me, sir
It still gets mentioned in literally every "disappointment of the year" thread
I liked the show though, maybe now that's its reputation has died down a bit I can say that safely
S2 never, We'll never see Staz and his Dad duke it out.
It was a pretty comfy show and featured better yuri undertones than Hibike
Cutest previews of the century.
I still prefer it to GochiUsa and KinMoza at least.
I think /m/ loves Argevollen but I just found it the most boring generic drivel and managed to last until ep11. Seriously the MC gets special snowflake humanoid mecha in first episode?
How about anime people forgot about before it even finished airing?
Was it even good?
I guess no one really cares about suffering as much as i thought.
i remember thinking that this was romcom done right
It was mediocre so i cant complain but enjoyable enough. Nice cast aswell
The anime was terrible, the quicker it gets forgotten the better.
>I feel like it tainted the manga too.
Because you're a faggot.
I remember the kids that learned everything the world offers and then became neets
OST was good
Why did you forget about Kana's anime?
She's pretty much the sweetest girl there can be, even more so in the VN.
I really hope at least one girl in Sen no Hatou is just as good, preferably Hotori-chan.
Pic related, Hotori-chan, I have high hopes for her.
I haven't forgotten. It's one of my faves.
There's not much one can say about it.
Damn that was a weak season.
Does one remember the autism princess?
Did you made this thread >>>135619723 to simply find out what happened?
Just watch the Abridged series. It is legit better than the actual show.
The most mediocre and forgettable anime in the past decade.
The first episode had shown potentional with the premise having a grim opening, it looked like to have been a somewhat serious anime (despite the cute artsyle) that would have portrayed Kotoura psychic abilities realistically, and then it was dropped and revealed to be another comedy with a perverted male MC and all.
Hestia makes me sick
It was okay, until the fucking serial "beater" arc.
If you're not going to commit to the darkness, why even have that first episode?
Yoshi > Koshi > Demo
I actually had to search for its name even though I watched it
Kotoura-san weren't a well balanced anime. It felt suffocating when it tried to balance the serious overtones with the comedic overtones and the seriousness went under the radar when all the comedy stole it away.
Your filename reminded me of the plot but I'd never forget a cute victorian loli.
It'll always at least be remembered for the Australia thread.
Koshi > Yoshi > Demo
Let's add another Winter 2013 show to the mix.
I still don't know what they were trying to do.
Something about this show had charm even though it's objectively a mess. I can't really put my finger on it besides the neat cast.
I liked it enough to get the Sasami nendo but I'm probably mentally ill.
I'll always remember this, if only for the bizarre inclusion of footage from Terraria.
>Last half of it shit the bed like nobody's business.
So pic related absolutely made sense, right？
I bet your ass you also watched charlotte and you enjoyed it till the end.
>Was it even good?
#216 of all time on MAL
The show probably would have been a lot better if it had focused on cute girls playing games, rather than, uh, whatever it was actually about. I can't even remember now. Something about magical artifacts falling from the sky and trap detectives.
It would've been better if it was just about Jewgold and Tensai doing adventuring things instead of what we got.
You could tell this show changed its mind so many times throughout production and had no idea where it was headed.
There was all this heavy foreshadowing about Twelve being some kind of manipulative psychopath who was going to toy with Lisa's feelings. Lisa would get roped into the whole affair and go along with it because she thought Twelve loved her. Eventually she would realize that she was just being used and would lash out at them, becoming a monkey wrench in their plans, putting herself in a great deal of danger while raising the tension. There would be a final scene where Twelve tried to convince her that his feelings really were genuine and she'd have to resist him one last time and stand up for herself.
I'm 90% certain that was the original concept that was being set up. Everything was pointing in that direction.
Instead Twelve turned into a bland everybishie, Five aka Girl L joined the fray, and everything got retarded. Lack of focus and poor planning.
I will always remember the jarring change from "Friendship is the magic that makes dreams come true!" to "The elite are chosen by god and your dreams are worthless in the face of the talent of the chosen"
Days of Dash is a great ED though
Usually the OP of these threads is just something never discussed, but that I can still remember fine. Except this time, holy shit I forgot about that.
There is QUALITY and then there is this gem.
It's actually a great story in the novels, but the anime devoted far, far too much time to a whodunit segment at the start.
What should have been covered in two episodes, took over eight. For the secondaries watching, that became what the whole story was about.
>Forgetting Japanese Hellen Keller voice
Fanservice isn't why people love NGNL. People love NGNL because
>sucked into the game world!
>blank always wins!
>wow he's just like me, super super super intelligent but underachieving because he finds life too boring, I wish I lived in the game world with a cute imouto~
The only thing top-30 about NGNL was
Season 2. I can't even remember some things that happened in it.
>Hoozuki no Reitetsu and Barakamon were forgettable
It baited people into thinking it would be something it wasn't. It was great for what it did want to be but that didn't translate to something that sells or stands the test of time.
Haven't had more fun watching something with /a/ since it aired though.
I actually just got around to watching the OVA of this.
Anybody want to guess what happens in the next second?
forgetabout this show, /a/?
Louise is still mai waifu.
Fuck off, still has a special place in my heart.
It had a very nice artstyle and likeable characters. Have the Samami scale as well, but I wish I had gotten the nendo instead.
At any given moment there's a Kohina image on /a/.
>Anybody want to guess what happens in the next second?
You're on a slippery slope of madness there anon
All I know is that in the LN mc's sister hasn't been revealed. I'd love to know what happens, but there isn't anything out there.
>implying I'll ever forget that dense bastard
Yeah. Ever since I missed watching KLK with /a/ I decided to always hop every hype bandwagon just so I could enjoy the threads. Even a bad show can be great when you're watching it with /a/.
KLK had good fanservice but a shitty plot
My friend who's a huge fan was trying to convince me to have gay sex with him while playing the lesbian bath rape scene on repeat on his tv
no way in hell i forgot kikai shoujo, i go maware maware maware everyday
i rememberblood lad because i have the manga
no way in hell i could forget fino's laugh
noucome is special because of yuragi and the the tsundere reshiki
didn't forget daitoshokan because nagi...the fact she was voiced by marya ise was a plus, even more so the reason i won't forget it
if you can easly forget megumi and shion...your heart is weak
can't forget the watashi wa pantsu wo shinjiteru or the NO MORE HOUCHOU!
how does one forget mikakunin!? are you mad!?
i wish no-rin had a season 2...
RESPECT FOR THE DEAD MAN
I'll never forget this show
That shit was so fucking surreal but at the same time very comfy
I still call BS on Megumu being a guy.
Can he possibly be a female who thinks is a boy?
The explanation is going to be mental, probably involving alternate versions of himself meeting causing a mismatch between male/female bodies & personalities.
Either that or the matrix like traps. Who knows.
I wonder what sex is between them like?
Hilarious how quickly it happened.
I've never seen a thread for Jinsei
Right, no one just want to talk about it. Author might as well just make Kanako kill herself and end the shitty manga. I remember reading vol 6 in a shop. Maria is still the Mary Sue getting all the flashbacks and focus. Kanako still have no real friends and just stick around to be a joke character
Subs fucking when etc
>Waiting for Cthuko
Even when the show was airing the threads were
white lace with ribbons
I will never forget.
It was such a small project, but you could tell everyone involved put their all into it.
Rest in peace. I know it's not forgotten. I just want someone to pick it up.
I still read the manga.
No way, shy girl + serious dude are best couple.
I think I'm the only person who liked RDG
Wizard Barristers sucked balls, which is a shame because of the girls.
I like the manga even if it's nothing special, maybe it's the style.
It was so weird. Hyperdrama, then comedy out of nowhere, jumping back and forth.
Cringe shit anime. One of the worst MCs that year.
But the brown prostitute was cute.
Shame manga is licensed or some shit so we'll never see the end where the manga isn't being sold.
Salami was supercute and I like her for being a brocon.
It was great.
I remember we had to sub it from spanish at first.
I just played it in the background, probably killed the chance of getting S3 and being good.
Best girl is cow girl?
Trainwreck of the year.
It has a series of doujins and they are great because female:anal
Manga is gud.
I really like it, cute and nice different artstyle.
Loved it, made me read the manga and the OP/ED were cool.
Who want to forget that fatty girl?
Elfen Lied's visuals represented the kind of reason many of us got into anime in the first place
That series was everything people who got into anime back in the day wanted anime to be
It is criminal that this didn't get a second season.
Is it a bad thing that I only liked it for the absurd action and setting but thought the fanservice dragged it down?
For me it's everything that isn't a decent original anime, a complete adaptation or going to be, or a slice of life/iyashikei (because there's no plot to concern yourself about anyway).
Practically everything nowadays is just an adaptation that only gets halfway through the source material if we're lucky so if I do watch those I don't see any reason to bother remembering it a day after it finishes. I wouldn't have bothered to remember Hibike! Euphonium if it wasn't getting a movie and a second season.
Funny thing I've dropped both these shows at the last two episodes.
I've kinda forgotten that the last episodes aired back then and never bothered completing them making them effectively forgettable even before they've ended.
I hated the fact that it could of ended without a cliffhanger if they didn't have that one blood saint show up in the last 5 minutes. I enjoyed the show and hope for a 2nd season but I doubt it will get one
