I just finished Gurren Lagann. I'm very coflicted about the ending. Basicslly, what the fuck. Almost everyone Simon really cared about is dead, the threat of Spiral Nemesis is still lurking out there, and he's just wondering around teaching kids how to crack open coconuts? The fuck.
I demand a sequel to this. I demand to see 1000 year old spiral king Simon coming back to defeat the Spiral Nemesis. I demand completion, satisfaction. I demand a drill. Now.
