Which JoJo had the least plot armour and why was it Johnny?
Jonathan, because he died at the end of his part. (Johnny died too, but it was long after his part concluded.)
Because the only good quality gif of that I could find was made by tumblr. Also, tripfags turning our already shit tier threads even worse.
>Because the only good quality gif of that I could find was made by tumblr
Part 1 is really underrated, even though it tells a concise and enganging story with a fitting end. It's a real shame that it falls flat in the middle, especially becaus it's already so short.
For some reason, it puts the outputted webm at 2mb even though I specified 3.
It might be because I downscaled the BD to 720p.
I think Jolyne had it worse because at least Jonathan and Johny managed to defeat their opponents, fulfilling their respective missions. Jolyne just died without accomplishing anything.
In a glorious flash of light, a stand appears before you.
It tells you that it can bring to the world of Jojos, and you accept without much forethought.
The Stand tells you it will do this by switching your soul with the soul of any minor villain you pick, gaining any abilities they had, including their stand. However one condition is that they couldn't be a party member at any point I in Canon, so no Okuyasu or any of those.
Who do you pick, and what do you do?
alternatively, you can pick any jojo girl that isn't Jolyne, if that's what you're into
You tell me.
Alright faggots, who was the best supporting cast member
Brojos don't count
Zeppeli is the only one available
German Science Man
Obviously no one from the first universe, I don't want to end up in the fuckfest MiH was.
I'd say Soundman, he was pretty cool.
>be Kakyoin, an extremely intelligent and sensitive student
>always had a Stand because of your naturally high spiritual potential
>this Stand is your only friend
>have a talent for art that nobody cares about
>your own parents can't grasp 'what' you really are
>chads like Jotaro get all the attention
>suddenly, for the sake of saving an innocent woman and surpass your fears, you go on a journey where you could lose it all
>sacrifice you life for victory to let the normals go back to their quiet lives
>still regret nothing
Kakyoin is a saint.
Jonathan, /fit/ /lit/ /his/
Joseph, /biz/ /pol/ and /tv/
Jotaro, probably /sci/ /fa/ /co/
Josuke, /fa/ and all the /v/ boards
Giorno, /an/ /biz/
Jolyne would browse all the nsfw boards
Johnny would be on either /b/ or /r9k/
Choice two if you count F.F as female since being able to morph your shape is a pretty great ability to have.
This guy if not.
Joseph is a vermin.
Probably browses /vr/ too.
Also, his Stand is really comfy. Just imagine walking above a big city during a rainstorm, it would be magical.
You're fucked, I guess you just have to follow where the clouds are the darkest and hope there is a continuous flow of raindrops or you could trap yourself and literally fall to your death.
Giorno isn't shit, his development is just much more subtle than with the other protagonists. Whether that's because of the nad translation or not, I do not know.
post your dumb theories/headcanons
>the ayylmaos, pillarmen, and stand arrows are connected. mikitaka's people caused the stand meteor to crash into earth, where it created pillarmen, who carved the arrows out of the meteor.
Pretty sure it was the art director for part 3.
Joshuu would visit reddit.
I know he's not a JoJo
or is he?
You're not wrong, I like its design though.
Mah nigga. Giorno has top-tier development.
/b/ is for underaged normalfags with friends that just want to get laid but can't.
/r9k/ is for underaged normalfags with no friends that just want to get laid but can't and have decided to reject women entirely.
The difference can save your life.
Women appreciate psychological subtlety.
It's funny that after knowing how extreme and downright crazy lonely virgin communities can get I can somewhat appreciate how /r9k/ is somehow actually one of the milder examples of its kind.
Sorry for reposting this over and over but one day it must be done.
I've downloaded the EoH ISO from the link in the pastebin to try nabbing the OST in its greatest quality and I tried following the above guide on how to do so but I'm up to this part below and stuck on it. When I do these steps, the 6th step doesn't produce any new folders or files so I can't proceed. Any ideas why?
>4 - Drag and Drop the [BIRD_BGM.awb] Into the [File to search] blank space > Screenshot : img15.hostingpics.net/pics/221345Sanstitre1.jpg (embed) (embed) (embed) (embed) (embed) (embed) (embed) (embed) (embed) (embed) (embed)
>5 - Wait for [searching string to complete].
>6 - There will be a new folder named [BIRD_BGM_CUT] who contain all the music tracks encrypted in [.hca].
Here's what's most likely the music in its awb format if anyone else wants to download it and try it out:
>It's funny that after knowing how extreme and downright crazy lonely virgin communities can get I can somewhat appreciate how /r9k/
It's the most extreme loner virgin community out there, lest you forget the school shooting incident that killed Desustorage.
Also, lets refrain from getting offtopic here.
What kind of person do you think would make a woman feel more safe, secure, and certain?
A powerful, tough, and strong guy who says what he thinks, does what he wants, and is willing to stand up for what he believes in or a weak, insecure, needy guy who changes who he is to get the approval of people, who doesn’t stand up for what he believes in, doesn’t have the balls to do what he wants, and hides behind excuses.
It's basic instinctual biology.
>stone-cold gangster, takes shit from nobody
>proud yet virtuous
>uses a lot of strategy in his fights instead of just punching shit
>loyal to his friends and ruthless to his enemies
I'm going to try to make this brief because I want to go to sleep, so sorry if it isn't satisfactory.
At the very beginning of VA, before Giorno joins Passione, he behaves in an aloof and almost playful manner. He smiles and seems relatively lighthearted. This contrasts greatly with his behavior throughout VA wherein he rarely smiles, is very reserved and is generally calm and collected. In joining up with Passione Giorno had to gain the respect of the gang and he also wanted to be his ideal image of a gangster, that is to say reserved, calm and somewhat mysterious in their stoic attitude, so he behaved in exactly that way. There are times when he drops the act; in the Baby Face fight, when he's alone and under attack, he is noticeably more stressed out than his usual self, who always seems to have a plan and remains calm.
His confidence in himself also changes. Giorno pulls plenty of asspulls and is key in winning almost, if not every, fight. But in the White Album fight he comes to the realisation that he can't handle this on his own and in his desperation tk just do anything, to maintain control of the situatuon, he drives off the bridge almost dooming himself and Mista (I can't remember if someone else was in the car). Through this fight Giorno comes to appreciate the individual members of the gang more, as his goal before was never to befriend them, but to gain their respect so that they would assist him in becoming the leader of Passione.
There's probably more, but again, I want to go to sleep. Sorry if that didn't explain it.
Another World Diego's is just too good. I was let down by Valentine's though. Hoping the guy uploads a few more.
When i heard that "Alternate Universe Diego theme is just the remix of the normal Diego" i didn't fucking expected for it to turn out into some wild club techno.
I mean that in a positive way, the whole soundtrack is ballin', even though some track are a little bit unispired in comaprison to others.
I also like how Okuyasu's theme got that one instrument (guitar? shamisen? I don't know.) they share. Overall, i think this theme fits better with Okuyasu
in comparison to ASB. Please no bully.
No one in specific, I'm saying that for the most part Jotaro has all the basic psychological traits that women instinctual look for in men along with being a nice guy at his core.
Exactly. I happen to have a preference for older woman as well.
I remember this guy making a very good post about it.
Part 4 maybe? simple solutions to seemingly invincible enemies
Part 7 had the whole rotation thing, kind of asspull-ish but it was interesting to see the main characters trying to get it to work
welp time to re-read that White Album fight I guess, gotta admit I was kinda burned out by the non-stop crazy fights, the character development flew over my head. Thanks /a/nons
Anytime, though it might get lost in translation. I've read the french translations so the character came across much more clearly than what I've seen of the shitty english translation.
That still seems like extremely minor stuff to me considering the fact that nearly every other Joestar in the series talks down to their superiors and are hotblooded rouges. It's less of an original personality and character and more of the same shit we've seen and fucking over again, both with Josuke and with Joseph.
Giorno's character development outside of "Im stronger now" itself is extremely minor and the fact that the post you capped couldn't even post one example of said personality develop in comparison to Giorno in the beginning of the manga to the end of the manga says miles.
Saying something like "Giorno had some of the best character development out there" while the only real growth he showed as a character was in stand power.
And I'm a huge part 5 fag, it's one of my favorite parts in the entire series and is painfully underrated I always felt Giorno could've been a much more fleshed out character with both his interactions with the rest of the gang and his ideologies.
>Seeing a screencap of my post.
Di Molto Co. has already re-translated a good portion of it. Only the last two chapters aren't translated yet.
I liked it, but not only do I suck ass at RPGs the close range stands were barely useful because everything was in M and L.
What do you guys think of what we've seen of the 2nd one?
Your point stuck with me, anon, made me want to re-read part 5 too.
Yeah, I agree mostly but I still think he recieved some good development, though it's small. He's one of my favorite Jojos mostly for how badass he became in the latter half, more especially the painfully awesome 7-page MUDAMUDA.
when will this meme die?
Abbachio was a dumb cunt who dressed like sephiroth and his stand was worthless
Fugo was awanker for no real reason who just fucks off halfway through
Narancia is an idiot who people give a free pass because they want to buttfuck him (and who has literally the laziest stand design ever....it's just a plane)
Trish was a bitch at first, and then her character development instantly threw her into the background and she became a set-piece more than anything
Bruno and Mista were fine, no problems there
>Yeah, I agree mostly but I still think he recieved some good development, though it's small.
It's nearly inixistant, the only reason why it seems large in contrast to the rest of the JoJos is because with the rest of the Stotic simplistic but powerful character drive that Giorno has it seems like quite a bit, but that's all it really is.
I doubt Araki even remembers the slight bit that he did add to Giorno thought the hundreds upon hundreds of pages he wrote, it's fucking pathetic to see him outshined by the other crew members and only have him shown some depth in the spotlight during a dramatic scene of brutality or death to add to it's intensity without specifically deepening his character.
Oh my fucking god. Now i feel like i should someday do other endings besides Kakyoin one.
Or constantly do it all over again because i can barely handle the fact that
the best friend is gone.
In the original post I wasn't trying to explain his whole personality. I just listed a few examples of how his character development didn't stop when he killed the old man. I wasn't trying to write an damn analysis.
I understand why people don't like Giorno, if they don't like minor character development. Giorno and Jonathan are both two of my favorite characters because they both don't change much throughout their life, but they learn important lessons along the way that shape them into a better person.
Also, when Girono was talking down to Abbacchio that is a much different situation than Joseph talking down to Lisa Lisa or Josuke talking down to... who? Rohan? I wouldn't consider him his superior and Josuke was pretty formal with most people. But Giorno idolizes the gangster life. He acts the way he does because he is trying to emulate everything a gangster is; Smooth, stoic, and always with a plan. So for him to disrespect his superior was a big decision for him to make. But his belief in not sacrificing Fugo to get the key was bigger than his dream.
Like I said, his character development is not the type in which you can just say "Here's how he acted at the beginning, here's how he acts now." The change is more realistic. He grows to trust people, and learns that there are more important things than chasing your dreams. But his character development is more than just that, it's all the small things along the way, not one big thematic change like most characters get.
i originally thought it was about some sort of group of people called JoJos
i remember seeing some AMV or something which flashed between all of them and i thought they were like hero association or something
I knew nothing about JoJo before I read it, I just saw a picture of King Crimson and I thought that it looked so cool that I had to find out what it was from, then I read it with no knowledge of what it was about.
Thought JoJo was about Jonathan who had to learn how to use sun energy and if he trained it hard enough he'd get a ghost energy person (star platinum) I just thought Jonathan would get a police uniform later on (jotaros outfit) and the story would go from there. Once I learned my shit, about halfway through part 3 I saw artwork of johnny and gyro in space or some shit and thought everyone looked like a gay blonde twink and it would get all futuristic and I was genuinely pissed. I didn't like the thought of my bara tiddi men going away. replaced by blonde twinkies. Now part 5 is my favorite and I dislike part 3, my opinions have truly changed.
I used to think it was about a circus of clowns that starred a muscular high school student because I kept getting it confused with jojo's circus and saw images of jotaro everywhere. I read phantom blood and was very confused.
When you say "Minor character development" what you mean is underlying subtly.
There is a way to write subtle character development and have them progress through the manga in a way that isn't as blaring, there are plenty of ways of doing this, but I feel like this isn't the case with Giorno and i'll tell you why after.
When Giorno was talking down to Abbacchio, his superior, he was definitely making a statement about him "not being a person that will willingly submit to your assigned hierarchy". He wants to build his own path, a path that will lead him to becoming the leader of the gang. While that's fucking badass, that isn't anything original from any previous member of the bloodline, it's almost a given personality trait. Stemming from Jonathan's unstoppable drive and unwillingness to never submit to DIO and to stop him, to Joseph talking shit to the Ultimate being, to Jotaro disrespecting everyone and everything that moves, to Josuke being his own brand of clever manipulative street thug that feels no remorse in cheating his way into someone's wallet that is considered one of the best Mangaka's in the country and someone that he respects, Giorno falls perfectly under this scale naturally, the only one that arguably doesn't is Jonathan.
It's a very simple personality that is existent within every Joestar minus Jonathan to date, "I have a goal, and I don't care how powerful you are, what your social status is, or how much money you have, what your stand is or how strong you are, move out of the way so I can accomplish my goal or help me to reach it" this is nothing we haven't seen before, the only difference is Giorno is more classy about it since he needs to use suave manipulation to reach his peek in the gangs higharcy.
Giorno had all his character development during a childhood flashback that explained how he became who and what he was, he just sort of continued on with the subtle steady growth of "power" and existing.
Uhh... pretty sure the answer to your question is probably George the II Joestar
>Literally just picked apart his design, didn't mention how much of a goof he was, how he was conflicted with giorno being leader, or his badass cop backstory
>Fugo was shit so I agree, but he had good things planned
>Narancia was an idiot, but that's not bad, it's always good to have a goofball, it's always alright to have a character to make situations laughable and his stand was a fucking plane, which was new and great (and the buttfucks are extra points)
>Trish was a typical teenage girl who worried for herself, she was well written and was another good addition to the gang.
>Bruno and Mista are nearly perfect nuff said
>Giorno was a great protagonist, with slow yet amazing development, and overall a good, well balanced character. Hes essentially a good mix of Jonathan and Jotaro and don't even get me started with GER. It was only in there for a few and was at least pretty badass
I'm a secondary animeonlyfag; the only thing I vaguely knew something beforehand was that it was a battle series and something about the stands, from a comparison a friend made between Jojo and S-cry-ed (If you've watched s-cry-ed you'll understand what I'm talking about) so the first anime surprised me. After it I went to read the manga.
I genuinely had no idea what to think.
I had seen a few screencaps and panels out context and decided to give it a try.
I mistook the first episode of the Stardust Crusaders as the first part of the series, and I was so confused I thought Dio was the main character.
I eventually caught on and started from Phantom Blood.
I though part one was about JoJo fighting his evil twin brother Dio.
I thought part two involved JoJo's descendant's fighting Dio's descendants
I thought part three was completely unrelated to parts one and two.
I didn't even know parts 4-8 even existed
This as well. I was aware of what the PS1 game looked like as well.
A friend got me into the manga, and Phantom Blood confused the fuck out of me at first. As I read it I had the conception that Jonathan was going to find a way to become immortal to counter Dio's vampiristic immortality.
And they would live for fucking ever and constantly fight over the course of the series, and get stands, and Jonathan turned into a mad prick and changed his name to Jotaro.
I was really right and really wrong at the same time.
Are you me? That said, Araki probably has it too since he's the kind of person that gets enjoyment from seeing characters getting their skin peeled off.
Pic related is my one of my favorite panels in the manga.
Don't. You're bring back horrible memories of that thread.
I just can't get enough of those lips man, fuaaaark.
MADE IN HEAVEN!
Jojo is /v/ tier, you must be new if you didn't know that. I suggest you go back to wherever you came from.
>EoH is all about him
Way to fuck the long expected crossover
Cancer that is known to be cancer doesn't get special privileges, in being allowed to be cancer.
Shitposting is still shitposting, even if it's well known for shitposting it's never too late to clean it up.
So jonathan's part in the manga is like 40 chapters of 16 pages and the story ends for him there? he just ends up dying like that when he's 20? it looks like the manga starts with him meeting dio, learning hamon and his death. that's quick
Who else would it be about? It's either Jotaro, Jonathan or equally spread out amongst everyone. When it comes right down to it the only vital characters would be Jonathan, Jotaro and Dio/DIO; everything else could be considered spinoffs.
Jolyne sacrificed herself so Emporio could live.
Jolyne wasn't incopetent, Pucci was simply too OP and better than everyone. Not even Jotaro managed to beat him.
>inb4 delusional Giorno autists
All of Phantom Blood is painfully short; that's it's greatest downfall and a big reason why people tend to forget about it as a part, but it's compact and well written for what it is, it's the only part to have a deeply intertwined dynamic between villain and MC and has some creative usage of power without ever going into asspull territory, along with great character development.
And Jonathan, even though his life was cut short, his legacy lives on through his descendants.
That's one of the many reasons Pucci is my favorite vilain from Jojo.
>it's the only part to have a deeply intertwined dynamic between villain and MC
So much this. Jonathan and Dio's relationship is one of the best thing in JoJo all parts combined. The biggest reason why PB stands out for me.
finished SBR, what did you think of the High Voltage chapters? unnecessary padding? great climax? I felt the whole thing could've ended with D4C but fuck it, seeing Za Warudo got me pumped as shit
Why does Johnny look so miserable with his new wife?
I NEED PICTURES, PICTURES OF RINGO
Someone really should make a Johnny "Thingken of Life" edit of this.
Which is a spin off. A reboot. Are you mentally ill? Jesus christ fuck off. Part 7 takes place in the 19th century like part 1, you retarded son of a bitch.
>implying MiH caused SBRverse
Level 1 reader, go.
>Implying they're spin-offs
>Implying they're reboots
>Implying spin-offs and reboots are the same thing
>Implying the events of Stone Ocean have nothing to do with why 7 and 8 are happening
I hope you're just pretending to be retarded.
>SBR was caused my MiH
What brand of newfaggotry caused this? More and more retards in this general are starting to think this, jesus christ. This has to be bait. Someone can't be this mind-numbingly autistic.
Iggy is the main powerhouse, and DIO gets beaten by the Speedwagon foundation's resources and by getting lured into a trap. Jotaro opens a beauty salon and riggs it with UV lights.
Yeah, I wish you people would leave too.
Like, back to /v/ or something.
I'd like to think that Giorno fighting Baby Face on his own was another big point for him. It's the first time he's actually in a fuckload of trouble, being just unable to call on his friends for help, and the only one to react quick enough to not get insta-cubed. When he's about to die, instead of getting furious or complaining, he laments that he had just made progress with the group, and they were super close to getting to Venice. Then he manages to compose himself and instantly reform, gaining the ability of the group healer.
Later on, when Narancia is trying to save him from the dual stand users, Giorno also manages to keep giving support, relying completely on Narancia to save him because he knows he's fucked otherwise. I think he laments the hardest when Narancia dies too.
Giorno's really quiet, which is probably on purpose, because his Dio genes and Joestar genes balance out to a sociopathic level of neutrality. Shit, he figured out a way to neutralize Diavolo's time-skips before Bucci AND Polnareff. And Pol' had plenty of time-stand experience.
Not him, but I sometimes have dark thoughts of just killing my family in different ways.
Confess him your feelings Anon-kun
That's the only way to reach [Heaven]
>uses a lot of strategy in his fights instead of just punching shit
Like that is saying anything when your stand is Ultimate lifeform Kars with obedient invincible damage redirecting animals, the ability to self regenerate, heal others, and render people catatonic with 1 punch.
I automatically smiled when I heard that NIIIIICE. He's good for Joseph.
I had heard snippets of memes from smash crossover stuff and thought it looked neat, so I decided that if I ever started watching anime, JoJo would be first. I didn't know the manga existed.
Since I had never watched anime/read manga, I just tried to find it on YouTube. My first exposure was watching a dubbed SDC ep 1. Then I somehow found out that wasn't the first part, and made my way to CR to watch it.
Started reading the manga partway through SDC and caught up to it by pet shop.
Hah. My PC can handle your power level. You're the one who made that Kekyoin 10,000 as well right? I win this time.
>mfw people complain about plot armor in Jojo
This is literally why Part 2 (manga and anime) was the best, or at least second to 7, which was great because it didn't need armor.
The series is entirely defined by plot armor. That's why it's good. If you don't like it, leave.
Doc isn't the only one that makes shit here.
How about this?
People talking about plot armor as a concept is just fucking retarded because the author is writing the story and gets to decide when a character dies for the plot.
The End. There is literally no more to it than that, plot armor is just a spoiled kid saying
>I think this character should have DIED here
because they didn't like the story went or how they got out of the situation. THEY didn't like it.
THEY would have done it differently. THEY think it was STUPID.
No, it just means there are times where a character should have died (based on the rules and ideas the author introduced), but for the sake of the plot to advance, said character is still alive.
The author does have control, but as a result of this "plot armor", the author won't be consistent with his ideas and if he can just go back on whatever paradigm he set up throughout his work, consistency will disappear and he'll appear to be an individual who can't make a coherent story, and will dampen his reputation.
You are right in how the manchildren will be mad, but the point still stands.
All it sounds like to me is that you care about the wrong things way too much, possibly more than the creator does.
>dampen his reputation
With who? 4chan?
American anime fans (retards)? Those are the only people who seem to care.
>rereading Part 4 because anime hype
>Josuke nabs a cell phone from a business man
>it broke when he yanked it out of the guy's hand, so he throws it away and steals another one
I never noticed this before. Why didn't he just get Crazy Diamond to fix it?
Oh, this is merely from a hypothetical point of view in any work, not just manga, or even Jojo. I'm talking about any story that is published into a book, movies, etc.
What I'm talking about is also why sequels in books and movies usually garner a negative critical reception.
Consistency is important.
Does anyone have a high quality image of Johnny's Tusk Act 4 pose from ASB?
I know it's >autism, but really it's 2 different types of stress.
The bike thing was probably all on instinct - "oh shit i need to avoid this"
The phone was more of a "damn i need to call, i need something quick"
I'm sure you've done stupid crap under stress that, under a cooler head you would have done better
Exactly for the reasons you presented. It's usually a teen or a manchild that spouts these terms that he heard someone else say on the internet. They usually can't present coherent points and will yap the closest buzzword they have in relation to that topic.
Would Vento Aureo be better if everyone was genderswapped?
I agree. But with such a long running series even the best can forget a few things. One I can think of right away is how weakened Star Platinum became so that the events of part 6 would take place.
The points I made in the previous posts are coherent enough that even someone who's new to English can at least get the gist of it. Your shitpost is null.
>A couple of cute girls have to escort a handsome boy to his mother boss only to find out that she's coked out and crazy. They fight her and a bunch of other cute girls and girls that love other girls.
I might agree with you.
>These adjectives describe and are often used against me so they are buzzwords at my convenience
>plz no bully
That's adorable. I can make this deduction because otherwise you'd have no reason to be offended and enter the discussion.
But that's what makes you a man-child.
Kind of pissed we don't have a translator on hand anymore for these things.
You have a point there. But Joseph was elderly and Jotaro was only in his forties. I guess Jotaro's laziness was gotten from his grandfather. I would have thought that you'd try to maintain your time stop to five seconds whenever you could, but that's just conjecture.
Abbachio and Bruno are the best.
We are also talking about the man that didn't stop time once in the 10 years between defeating DIO and meeting Josuke.
Jotaro chose to become a scholar and simply only uses his stand when he absolutely has to. It shows, eventually.
Catch the Rainbow always made me laugh.
It is literally a god mode stand, with the worst possible drawback of all time.
It is literally the Aqua Man of jojo.
>Can shred anyone in an instant
>can dissolve into the rain to avoid attacks.
>can detach parts of his body and attack from anywhere in the rain
>can move in all angles and directions, essentially flight.
>Can only be used in the fucking rain.
Blackmore could probably give most of the strongest characters a run for their money, but only if its fucking raining.
I wonder if his stand would have been more useful in a modern setting. Would it work if he rigged up some sprinkler system to his back?
No but it has the best villains in Part 5. Best fight I'd give to White Album or Green Day.
By that point, Pucci's stand evolved that he was fast even in stopped time. It didn't matter in the end.
Apart from that, I can't think of any inconsistencies apart from minute errors. Maybe I need to give the series a reread.
me and part 5 have a weird relationship.
I dont particularly care for the characters or story, but damn did it have some good fights.
It also had some of the most memorable stands.
anytime someone asks me to give an example of a stand, i almost always pick a part five stand. Not even meaning to, its just they are really some of the coolest ones in the series.
I think it would've been better if Jotaro shows up a little before he did at the Space Center, or has his own side chapters, where he fights some other enemy (son of Dio maybe). Just so we can see him destroy them, so we remember how powerful he is. This way, when he is annihilated by Pucci, it makes it more meaningful and puts it in perspective. He's not beating a washed up dad, he's beating one of the strongest stand users ever.
This is the artist's genderswapped version of Jonathan.
And this is his PB Dio.
Not an anime but in the video game Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney there's a loli who grows boobs when spiritually channeling a ghost.
As an assman, I feel like the hips weren't properly done in direct proportion of the breasts. I am deeply disappointed.
I can't handle this tippity-top tier taste.
Goddamn was D4C ever a great arc. My heart skipped a beat when Zeppeli discovered Ball Breaker. For that brief moment, I thought that he just may have had what it took to end the Zeppeli curse.
Both were Mista fights. Coincidence? Probably not.
Pucci's plot armor is an absolutely critical plot element. Pucci being chosen by fate is an absolutely critical plot element - it's supposed to resemble divine intervention. Jolyne and the rest of her gang get shit on by fate constantly, which the reader is supposed to compare and contrast with Pucci's unending luck.
Weather Report in particular probably has some Cain and Abel shit going on under the hood on top of that, but I can't be assed to find it.
>Pucci's plot armor is an absolutely critical plot element. Pucci being chosen by fate is an absolutely critical plot element
Holy shit, I should go to bed.
It's only critical because without it, the plot would end much earlier.
If part 3 stands were named after muscial stuff instead of tarot cards/egyptian gods, what would they be called?
Pic related would obviously be Holy Diver
The World could just be Mad World or yeah, Holy Diver.
Magician's Red could be some 80's rap or Walk Like an Egyptian.
Bastet could be Black Betty.
Anubis could be Eye of the Tiger.
Death 13 could be Final Countdown.
>Somewhat cool at first but becomes a drag later on and the rest of the cast is more interesting and entertaining than him. He shines at the D'Arby and DIO battles but only because those are unconventional fights that require him to be clever.
>In becoming a side character he somehow becomes more likeable, a more mature Jotaro is definitely an improvement, and by not hogging the spotlight all the time he doesn't get tiresome.
>He jobs massively both at the start and at the end, absolutely useless.
Y'all are always complaining about this or that character.
Pray tell then how you would improve them if you're so damn clever and have received a nobel prize for character writing.
I would make Hermes do things besides yell and be angry all the time so that she has a chance to be more likeable and sexy. I mean, how hard can it be to show her SMILING once in a while?
Thought it was pretty unexpected that Johnny technically lost to DIO, you kind of forget that even the most op stands like Tusk Act 4 are still very vunerable to basic stands like DIO's ZA WARUDO.
My name is Jonathan, My dads name is George and I'm in school to become an archaeologist.
My friend pointing out these similarities was what made me check out jojo in the first place, actually.
Does anyone have the animation of Jotaro calming down baby Jolyne in her crib?
I knew it was about various musclebound guys called JoJo who punched things and posed - and since my only exposure to the series was a webm of Ultimate Kars' death i assumed that the characters fought all kinds of crazy enemies and monsters.
I thought it was some sort of tournament thing where all the stands/stand users were fighting to determine who was the strongest. SBR/Jojolion also really gave me a really spacey/futuristic vibe for some reason.
That's not really catering to my fantasies. I could tell you about all kinds of sick depraved shit I would have her do
like holding handsif she were to cater to my fantasies.
Hermes right now is pretty hard to like, she just yells a lot. When, both stylistically and personality-wise, she could have been very cool. She has this disco kind of flair to her clothes. A start would be just have her do things besides yelling all the time. She's so one-dimensional it hurts. It weird how we wind up fully exploring the abilities of her Stand and everything KISS' stickers can do. Her fucking STAND is more developed than she is!
It especially stands out when she's right next to Hermes and Foo Fighters, who are both fully fleshed out and likeable characters.
ehhhh, Araki might go with atleast a Half-black Jojo. Hell, if you really look at it, most of the JoStars aren't even 100% white or Japanese.
There's Josuke(Half-white), Jotaro(Half-white), Giorno(Half-Japanese), and Jolyne herself is at least not 100% white or asian. Oh, and then there's Jo2uke who's just literally mixed in general.
I'm black myself, but I think a half-irish Jojo would be pretty gud tho. A Persian JoStar would probably be the best though. Those people are genetically fabulous.
I do agree Persians are hot
Jotaro is 1/4th Italian, which Ive noticed many anons seem to forget. He's the most mixed of all the jojos I think, although I know nothing about Jolyne's mother because im still on part 5
Jolyne is mostly Italian and is only a quarter Japanese.
And yea, I doubt Araki has an particular bias toward white or asian people, he never shyed around from making major characters black for example. He just never had any reason in particular for a black or Persian JoJo either. He just writes for whatever he hads planned in his story. And that's pretty much the way to do it IMO: Too many shows, comics, cartoons, etc go way out of their way to include minority characters in their show just for the sake of diversity and no other reason. There's no point in forcing diversity, then it's like "you're only hear to fill a quota." Include gay or black or whatever characters based on the setting and do it for actual storytelling or stylistic reasons. Like, for example, I could see Araki making a black JoJo for Part 9 if he wanted to make another JoJo that's one big visual homage to Prince, like Josuke and Giorno were.
So Josuke is also gonna be out of commission because he let the flowerpot drip on him? It's just Hato left?
