I think the attraction of Christmas Cakes in general is that they seem reasonably attainable and most of us can relate to them more than a high school girl or whatever. For us late-20s/early-30s guys, characters that we actually feel like we could meet and date have a lot of appeal.

I, for one, wish there were more manga and anime about cute Christmas Cakes.
