As long as the Earth, Moon and Sun exist, everything will be alright.
That's not true. If any of the other planets disappeared that would be bad news for everyone.

If humanity was to disappear, it would also be alright. Because humanity doesn't matter on the scale of the universe.
What's wrong with a 200 year exodus to another system, op? You some kind of faggot?

Poorfags, when will they learn

What if the earth disappeared? Would that somehow matter just because it's so bigger? What about the Milky Way? Would that matter?

Actually, the Earth disappearing would throw the Moon out of its natural orbit, causing it to crash into the Sun or eventually land into one of the planets between Earth and Sun, effectively pulverizing said planet and crashing the remains and itself into the Sun.
I'm no physician but I also think having the Milky Way disappear could potentially disturb the gravitational fields of other galaxies and lead to a real mess of colliding stars and planets. But that's just a random guess.

/a/non please
The moon is gonna spin out of orbit in a couple billion years, so there's that.

>>Earth moves out of orbit
You underestimate how extremely difficult this is to do. Earth's been pelted with all manner of giant asteroid but gravity's still doing its job just fine
>>135538944
But in the end, it does not matter on scale of infinite universe.
Rei and Yui implied that humanity can only survive on Earth for whatever reason, which is part of the reason why Yui became an immortal God and fucked off to the unknown.
>>135539315
Still has more impact than the disappearance of humanity, which would actually do the rest of the Earth's species some good.
>>135539354
Who the fuck cares?
Might as well kill yourself or rape some whores, it's not like that has any meaning on the scale of the world/universe.
This "hur dur nothing matter" logic is fucking edgy and stupid.
>>135539354
on infinite scale, even the biggest number you could imagine does not matter.
>>135539354
in infinite universe even disappearance of observable universe won't matter.

Im pretty sure youre wrong about that last part...And galaxies colliding is a completely normal occurrence. Heck ours is on a collision course right now. And when they collide, nothing really happens. Stars and planets very very rarely would collide with each other.

>Everyone
Way to miss the point of that phrase. It's not supposed to be taken literally.
It doesn't matter if things don't matter. The earth is small on a larger scale, but atoms are small as well yet they are significant on the whole.
You have a body that will refuse to not breath and instincts that will normally force you to survive. You should concern yourself with things on the human scale since you're living.
