The embers are fading.
Their careers are dead. Kitakubu is dead. This thread is dead. The dream is dead.
I went through my folder to find a kkk image and this was all I could find. I still like this show, better luck next time op.
I guess I could just share a few KKK images, and pretend that we're having a proper thread.
Some of these are surprisingly useful for everyday posting.
What are the klan's favorite shows of 2015?
Mine was either Pleiades or Etotama.
I liked Hackadoll and GochiUsa S2 the most. 2015 was a somewhat subpar year anime-wise imo.
That spamming faggot almost gave me a heart attack. I'm glad we made it in the end.
Someone quick, burn some humanity and rekindle the flame.
I don't remember anything from last year except for osomatsu and some other things from last season
but I clearly remember kkk
episode 4, I finally felt like it would get better
Maybe one day they'll catch fire. I'm glad they are not giving up, but it must be painful to be an unsuccesfull voice actor
>phone games reviews on YouTube
GochiUsa, yryr, OPM, HackADoll, Hibike, Aldnoah, Stardust Crusaders, Koufuku Graffiti, Saekano, Etotama, Kinmoza, Kekkai Sensen, and Tesagure.
In my defense, I cringed quite a bit while watching Saekano, OPM, Aldnoah, and KanColle: I actively avoided the threads.
Also, I watched at least 4 times as many shows as listed for 2015. So for me, this is a valid amount of favorites to have.
I liked the short OVA with the Akatsuki-class.
You can't expect a straightforwardly good anime to come from a browser-based game revolving around cute girls, naval references, and mind-numbing farming: what we got was acceptable.
This isn't my bias speaking, as I play KanColle and visit the generals.
If you visit the threads, you should know that there are many very decent manga and doujin based on the series.
How come people can make good fanfic when the devs can't come up with a good idea for an anime adaptation?
No one expected the Kancolle anime to be a masterpiece considering all but I don't believe asking for an anime to have a goddammed consistent tone all the way through is too much. Kancolle flipped around more than a generic Kugyuu tsundere.
I tried not to sound pretentious, but failed.
In any case, that's roughly how many shows I watched to completion. I watched an episode of everything that came out, excluding Lupin and a few OVA, because I am infernally opposed to making uninformed opinions of entire seasons when I've only watched 4 of 20+ airing series. /a/ is largely filled with elitists who somehow subvert the realization that they themselves are retards.
>infernally opposed to making uninformed opinions of entire seasons when I've only watched 4 of 20+ airing series.
I do like you anon. It probably isn't much to you but I do wish there were more people like you. It does seem like a good chunk of people here barely watch much anime here and just like to complain about things they never tried.
I'll give you a hint. Read the filenames in this thread.
Kill yourself boatslutfags
I've got to make more transparencies next time I rewatch. It holds the spot of #1 comedy in my heart.
How about her name?
>Our franchise's seiyuu still have jobs.
by sucking dicks, amirite
I'm insulting the game, while myself enjoying it.
That runs in opposition to the usual case of insulting it while not having played it at all or much, which is the bias I mention.
You make a good point here.
I don't have much to say, except maybe it is somewhat unfair to compare the game's fanfic to the devs' competence. The fanfic is an outlier in a sea of mediocrity, I suspect because a solid portion of its fanbase is well-aware of KanColle's shortcomings but, for various reasons, play it anyways.
It was disappointing seeing them break off from the precedent they set for themselves in allowing a sink to ship, and instead aim for a contrived happy ending with a 'break through fate with sheer force of willpower' cliche.
The comedic parts were more than a bit hamfisted as well, I admit.
Damn, the series _was_ pretty unforgivably bad. Still, it remains a guilty pleasure of mine.
>I suspect because a solid portion of its fanbase is well-aware of KanColle's shortcomings but, for various reasons, play it anyways
The 2 main types of KC players:
- casuals who play for the cute girls and/or bandwagon
- tryharders who like to get fucked by RNG-sama every few weeks/months
While I'm still playing this shit for two years, I think you guys need to fuck off to your general thread. This is KKK thread
Never heard of him, but this isn't that bad of a track record.
>polar bear cafe
>uchuu senkan yamato
>soredemo sekai wa utsukushii
The individual episodes seem to be doing alright. They're better than nothing.
They look much better than the show models.
Has no group subbed this? I'm only seeing HorribleSubs as an option here. Goddamn.
One picture before go to bed and waiting for download complete
I miss this show. Hasn't it catching the fire yet? Also Natsuki best
Something feels wrong, is this how it's supposed to work?
I loved this show way too much that it still devastates me how little if nothing has come of it.
Followed by the original guy for Tesagure leaving the team in the latest season of that, it really cuts me how these fun SoL shows have been doing so badly lately.
Shorts aren't bad, but given the tiny amount of time they have each episode, they leave too little an impact after they're over and are just forgotten.
Also YRYR and GochiUsa were this season, not Winter.
Posting on probably the last KKK thread. Great underappreciated show, loved the wonky VAs and the gags, dat fucking fake last epsiode. The OP was GOAT as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeX99vT7rp4
Someday we'll catch fire brah.
What ahoge, boss?
You're imagining shit.
That sounds like a good idea for the first rewatch of 2016. It's been long enough that I cant remember how it all goes aside from screenshots.
LIES AND SLANDER
SAKURA IS PURE
>Botan-tan is dead
I know she couldn't emote to save her own life, but fuck it, I really liked her voice and it was very fitting for her character.
Yeah, its really need more fanart.
It had a charm to it, the amateur seiyuu's, the jokes about the production quality, etc just contributed to a very memorable experience even if the show wasn't great. It might be just some naivety on my part, but I'd like to think that the studio had fun doing this project.
I ripped Femme subs with fonts and they work fine with Zero-Raws, should work with other raws as well.
But I also noticed some raws have English Femme subs already there, like
They even have translated Miniature Theater along with BD exclusive episodes.
I'm not sure if they have fonts, so you might get them from earlier pomf link.
Gochiusa, Wakaba Girl, Non Non biyori and Yuru Yuri.
KKK remains one of my favorites anime ever.
This was my favorite scene when it was airing.
I keked like I've never done before when I watched the BDs.
If this thread is gone by the time I wake up, then thanks to everyone for posting. I was expecting it to die before 50 posts.
It good to see that the flame still lingers on.
The EDs are all great as well. I still like listening to them.
Azarashi get all the food views.
Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg... And my arm... even my fingers... The body I've lost... the comrades I've lost... won't stop hurting... It's like they're all still there. You feel it, too, don't you?
I'm the most mad about seiyuu not getting any new job. Was the seiyuu really that shit? Beside rich senpai everyone sounds perfectly normal to me. What's the studio? Does it make other anime using this cast? Where's the seiyuu get hired from? Do they not have any other connection? God I'm still mad.
I used to be in those thread that reached bump limit you knows. Back in the days.
>Was the seiyuu really that shit?
I wouldn't flat out call them shit but they couldn't intone to save their lives (except for Ahoge-tan), reminds me of Rento from C3^Bu who suffered the same fate.
They were probably chosen because they were rookies so their salary was abysmal and perfect for the financial studio. If anything, I imagine they were the best they could pick. And every other audition failed, so that should tell you a lot. And I feel your pain, I wouldn't mind an occasional role for any of them.
I'm trying to think of something to say because i really liked kitakubu. But I can't really think of anything.
>reminds me of Rento from C3^Bu who suffered the same fate.
I loved her voice.
That kind of amateurish stuff gives it a raw feel, I guess the industry doesn't think that stuff is profitable.
It was definitely very fitting for Rento's caring an open personality, but I can imagine that especially for native viewers, it was terribly grating, like most dubs sound to us.
I fucking loved this show. Like everyone else I'm sure, I almost dropped but I'm so glad I didn't. I still haven't laughed so much in an anime since.
It's slightly past 12 in PST now. I'm guessing we'll have a few more people and posts.
>This aired the same time as CHICKEN SALAD and FANTASISTA DOLLLLLLLL
What a good season.
Also C3-bu, Kaminai, Symphogay G, Uchouten, Kiniro, and more.
I can't remember a specific season I enjoyed more.
>a sixteen minute dramatization of shiritori
Just kill me now.
Genei and Fantasista got nendos.
Where are my KKK nendos?
But they didn't get a nendo of best girl
I haven't taken a long, hard look at what's to come, but there weren't that many shows that stood out as trash from the glance I took. I'm hoping I can find a few shit shows so I can drop them and have a little bit more time for backlog.
KKK is the most under appreciated show this decade, prove me wrong.
I'm pretty sure it's also under-appreciated in the rest of the lands as well anon.
Why are KKK screenshots so useful?
It's really one of the best screenshot shows yet so few people use them.
why can't I find any magazine pinups of this anime
Sakura. I have huge boner for twintail
I don't care what you do with that shit taste of yours, but please don't flaunt it in here.
Literally everyone who watched the show is in this thread! It's on fire!
Just download 1080p which is all freeleech or only download on global freeleech which happens every few months and you can bulk download manga or music and seed it for yen, not as viable as it use to be but still works to an extent.
Should be open now, we're only at 15k/18k users
Natsuki (AKA Ibuki Kido) is an [email protected] seiyuu, she's voicing one of the Million Live Idols. Being an [email protected] seiyuu is at least a stable job that guarantees her a relatively constant amount of gigs. Both in voicework, song recording and live performances. She also occasionally gets the odd anime role here and there.
The other KKKs are dead though.
I had a nightmare and came here to calm down to find a KKK thread.
I have the soundtrack on my phone and a song always comes on when I'm listening so this show hasn't evee been dead to me
>Takes a look at that cellphone game video review on YouTube
>Has just over 1000 views
>Her other videos have less than 500 views, in some cases
That's just cruel. It seems she can't seem to catch a break in any medium.
Is it me or the staffs seem like shill Botan very hard
Holy shit, the thread is still alive.
THIS FIRE STILL BURNS.
They do but as long as you sign in every few months you're fine or just get to power user which is pretty trivial, I think it's something like 25 torrents uploaded and 25 gigs up.
Something like KKK living on in our hearts? Sure.
I'll make another thread on Jan 1st 2017, so that we remember this thread, and that KKK remained with us through the year. I wonder how many of us will be around then. We may even have some new faces.
This threads are always so sad.
Probably because KKK failed so badly, despite it deserving better.
Probably didn't help that the premise didn't sound that exciting, so most, even on TV, never gave it much of a chance. The first three episodes were also a little bit dragging (but not bad)
I also only watched it by sheer chance and boredom, and it was already on ep 5 then.
I thought I could be a smartarse by escaping forward slashes in /a/ with backslashes.
>getting fed up of chocolate
I was super hyped when I read the description in the season previews. The season started, and I got swamped by the other shows to the point that I picked up the show around episode 5.
Don't worry, it's not really dead. It can still catch fire...
The one who had a hit with Adamski in the nineties.
I must have missed the memo about the cross burning
The other two are here.
My dick would catch fire too.
