Why do magi care hate technology so much anyway? I get that they lose power because of it, but it's still useful and I'd think pretty similar to magic in some regards, and it's not like if you don't use it the magic would suddenly stop disappearing. Why are they so incompetent at it? I would think everyone would be more practical and "as long as it does what it needs to, whatever"-mode.

I sincerely respect everyone comments, but i truly prefer the Fate route in which Shirou and Saber fall in love with each other, and that last episode almost make me cry when she disappears right after she said I love you to Shirou.

Shirou and Saber make a weight better couple them Rin and Shirou, because they protected each other and the story is more interesting. just to think that the holy grail battle drag a beautiful woman from the past and bring her to the present to fight next to a novice master for the sake of the world, meanwhile they fall in love with each other and at the end she disappears right after confessing her love to him.

It hits me deep in my heart and leave with a strong sensation, wishing that they should of have end up together.

The plot was so good, I had a hard time taking my mind off of it during my play. I was however, super saddened at the ending. I hope I am not the only one, but I think I got over attached to characters (especially Saber!) and as a result, many manly tears have been shed. I, personally, was hoping that there would be some loop hole allowing/enabling Saber to stay. I guess it was still a good ending having 'saved' Saber and all, but I can't help but feel the impact of the feels train.

UBW is the one route that completely shits on the idea of Rin/Archer. They are constantly at each others throats, and Rin's entire thing is that she /doesn't/ want Shirou to become jaded and cynical like him. Plus he literally leaves her to be raped by Shinji.

I cannot fathom how people can think UBW even hints at Rin and Archer.

I can't talk about KnK, but with Tsukihime, not really. There was no real deep look into magi side of things in Tsukihime, I can't remember True Magic being mentioned at all, the whole Servant side of things is a lot of lore all alone, and so on. Tsukihime mostly focused on supernatural that wasn't directly connected to magic and more just supernatural creatures, if I remember right. Vampires, demons, psychic powers, supernatural hunters, but little magic of itself. I can only remember Roa, and even he didn't actually use magic in original VN.
