Pick up a copy of Michael Hampton's Figure Drawing: Design and Invention as well as a copy of The Atlas of the Human Anatomy for the Artist. Likewise, watch the way people around you walk and how their body contorts and changes to suit their environment.
Study scene composition in tandem with the people watching.

if you are good at comedy, it might just work with your current drawing skill-set. Drawing well takes a lot of practice as you can imagine. Keep at it. Start from still life sketching and work on stylizing them.

You're right, your art does suck. If you're serious about it though, keep practicing. Draw everyday and ask for criticism and try to improve.
