It seems to be an Asian resort with lots of unlicensed characters.
That Gendum looks a lot better than the rest of the shit there
Remind me of this
Mr. Kenichi Okada (68) who resides in Hyogo prefecture's Kakogawa city built a wooden model of the popular mobile suit Z Gundam. It took him 8 months to finish the 20-meter tall, 40-kg heavy model which he painted with waterborne coating to make the texture similar to plastic models. He comments: "I used lightweight imported timber, but I had trouble in creating the spherical portions".
He started building the model in order to please his grandchild, but the grandchild was uninterested.
The retired JR railway engineer originally built the wooden Zeta Gundam for his two grandsons, however, both were not interested in Gundams, but this did not stop him from creating Char Aznable Quattro Bajeena’s famous golden mobile suit as a follow-up project. However, he suffered from cerebral infarction, forcing him to suspend production. Now that he is OK, he finally finished his project and unveiled it to the world.
Marty: I have seen enough shit to know where this is going.
Time for some blogging.
>go there 6 months ago
>it was very hot and humid
>suddenly my nose starts bleeding
>sit on a bench nearby, use the few tissues I have
>it doesn't stop
>after +20min my tissues are drenched, there's blood everywhere, on my clothes and on the ground
>people start noticing me
>random japanese people give me tissues and bottles of water, ask if I'm alright
>a policeman notices the commotion
>he takes me with him to the policebox
>give me some water and let me rest in front of the Gundam in the airconditioned box
Weirdest moment in my life.
At least now I know Japs won't let you die out even if you're a foreigner.
You say QUALITY, I say personality.
Yeah, some of them were asshole (there was even a guy who went up to me while I was obviously looking for my hotel and purposefully gave me wrong directions) but the great majority of the eleven I met were pretty chill. They gave me tissues, tips on what's the best route in the metro, I even talked about the recently released first Reconguista episode with a roomate I had (she had shit taste though, her favorite gundam was Destiny, fucking Destiny man).
But yeah as you said, not being American
(and being a grill)might have helped.
No I'm not.
I blame the heat.
On the moment I was afraid it might be a stroke so I did the thing where you twist your tongue and spread your arms on one leg but I was fine.
Yep, being a white (I assume) grill in Japan probably helped since that pretty much makes you then holy grail, but being a boring old bloke didn't seem to hinder me. I got wrong directions once, but I'm pretty sure it was an honest mistake and somebody else stopped to help me so it all worked out.
It was the series. Moreover Shinn was her husbando. I blame it on her being little and impressionable when it aired, nostalgia helping. I refuse to believe anyone can have so much shit taste.
Yeah same, after I got the wrong direction I thought screw it and I entered a post office and asked for directions. They gave me a map and made fun of me because I was so far away from where I should be. So it all worked out.
That reminds me of some time ago back when I was japan too
>Summer time, heat is pretty hot but I'm used to it
>Walking around the emperor's palace and embassies where they sell second hand stuff
>see a fat white dude completely flat on the ground
>check to see if he's alright
>breathing heavily with nose bleed
Luckily there was a policeman nearby so I helped pick him up and get his shit straight .
>all the people who watched the original Gundam are now grandpas
>soon, all the people who are watching the Moeshit Age of anime will also become senior citizens
feels bittersweet, man
>that feel when I'm 26 and my favorite anime is Zeta Gundam and I would be a bottom to Char Aznable.
I've either made some very right or some very wrong decisions in my life.
It's even funnier than the Chinese Gundam.
That could serve as a great advert for a gym.
"Tired of looking scrawny, thin, and weak? Do you want more definition in your calves, abs, and shoulders? Visit Gundam Gym to be a NewType of Man."
