I loved the Love Live anime and I tried watching AKB0048 and Cinderella Girls but dropped both a few episodes in. The reason I enjoy Love Live is that it's a bout a couple of nobodies making a name for themselves, by themselves, with their own efforts. The other idol shows just reek of the corporate bullshit, it's just little girls taken in by the huge corporation telling them "Ok here's how you become an idol, shut the fuck up and sing these dumb vocals and do this dance". The characters are all attention whores and I could never find any of them interesting.

I also prefer LL's music, because there are a lot of actually musically complex and well produced songs. About half of it is generic pop but there are some really good shit in the other half. Cant't say that about the im@s and AKB0048, 95% of the songs I've heard were generic pop

honestly I like LL more than m@asters, but is just my preference, I liked the "story" better in LL and the main characters, songs are on par, m@asters having much bette rproduction and dancing.

Yes, characters are generic, but so are fastfood-chain foods and they sell well.
Songs... taste may differ. And again, you think all songs made by platinum-record artist (I use the term artist loosely here) aren't crap? Justin Bieber, Miley Cirus, ring a bell?
Dance... well they could've done better but I think they considered the fact that the VAs are going to have to mimic the dance, and they are not those K-pop idols that got trained to dance since they're like 8 or something.

You're so full of shit. LL's music consists mostly of standard Jpop with some electropop like Daring!! and Private Wars thrown in. I like a lot of LL's music now that I gave it a chance (I initially got a bad first impression with the anime's song choice), but even so iM@S has infinitely more variety, which is a given considering how long it's been around. Quit talking shit about stuff you know nothing about.
