If you've been here long enough you would know that is just a meme.

Popular mainstream series will always occupy page 1 due to their higher traffic volume, but the actual good series will always have at least one thread up at any given time.

For example, a series like Shirokuma Cafe flew under the radar everywere but at least /a/ embraced it. This was one of the few anime communities that gave it a chance.

Good anime is discussed here but if you are a lazy page 1 fag you will miss it.

/a/ had outstanding Casshern sins threads and it was the same idea. Take a 70's iconic kids show and remake it into a bleak anime with a dying world.

It has a similar theme where a 1970s hero for justice ended up "breaking the world". The only difference is we get the "bad guys" perspective in Yatterman while in Casshern it was about the "hero" struggling to come to terms with the world he broke while being hated and feared by everyone.

/a/ would be watching Yatterman regardless of Leopard. It's just that the threads get derailed more because of her.
