What anime soundtrack is on constant rotation for you?
Koufuku Graffiti's OP has been on constant repeat since it was released.
OST: Mahouka, Joshiraku, Paradise Kiss, Sora no Woto, Durarara, Maoyuu Maou Yuusha, Ping Pong
Honto ni Atta! Reibai Sensei ED
Koufuku Graffiti OP
Samurai Flamenco OP2, ED1 both CDs with extra songs
Galilei Donna ED Synchromanica (Negoto)
Negoto - Merci Lou
Tokyo Ghoul ED
Tokyo Ghoul rootA ED
Witchcraft Works ED
Pretty much anything Tanaka Kouhei but mostly the Gunbuster OSTs
I like the Mawaru Penguindrum soundtrack an awful lot. The only problem is that a lot of the songs are just too short.
My nigga. The guitars on this soundtrack make me wet, every single time.
This OST was surprisingly good.
This happened to me too but luckily I had a lot of it on my phone.
I've learned to back up my shit.
>What anime soundtrack is on constant rotation for you?
None. Just specific songs that I listen to from time to time.
Like the OP of Detroit Metal City or OP and ED of Kill Me Baby, or some other things that catch the interest of my ear.
Dragon Crisis makes me smile from time to time.
Also, Hayashi Yuuki. I like that guy.
dragon crisis blew ass but that ed theme was straight from heaven.
Yuru Yuri season 1 character albums are my drug. Yui's VA is fucking amazing, and even shitty chinatsu had great songs. They're all great. Every single one.
This and the rest of the Unicorn OST are the greatest things ever.
I don't really listen to any soundtrack on my phone more than others and I don't listen to anime soundtracks that often, but this one is good.
I don't really listen to chinese cartoon music all that much.
I did like the work Seba Jun did for Samurai Champloo a lot, even if it sounds a bit much like a budget DJ Krush.
I hope Katsuhiko does a soundtrack for a chinese cartoon one of these days.
I find myself usually in rotation between Gargantia, Unicorn, Tari Tari and GBF OSTs. Special mention to Nagi OST for the comfy tones.
I rarely listen to soundtracks. I always play OP and EDs in the morning though.
The one that I really liked was Little Buster's OST.
Big O has a good OST
Meh, I have to like the show before I like the music, you liked Angels Egg?
The Money of Soul and Possibility Control OST is on rotation for me too.
I only liked one of Durarara's songs from the OST. The rest serve well for the show but I didn't really like to listen to them by themselves.
I also keep listening to this
I'm not particularly fond of soundtracks but I do like these.
>liking music just because it's from an anime
Do you also like every anime series just because it's Japanese?
>not downloading good OSTs, good character songs and OP/EDs
Have you just watched so few anime that you only know of a handful of good ones? If I watch 10 shows I'll download maybe 1 OST and a handful of OP/EDs.
Why are you trying to backpedal, anon? It's not what you were trying to point out at first.
Also, I generally don't download a lot of music, because I know I'll get tired of it really quickly, so I only download the stuff that I've heard a lot of times and never get bored of.
>good character songs and OP/EDs
Either full OSTs or nothing. I'm not a fucking a casual.
Feeling melancholic as usual.
>and the fact that they exist before HD became a thing
Both of those are iPhones running iOS 8, and given Apple's software support cycle, they're both made long after phones running 720p displays became standard.
Apple just uses nonstandard shit to make their devices a pain in the ass to use. See: iTunes.
Backpedal where? You made the blind and incorrect assumption that I think any anime music is inherently good. Do you know what backpedal means? Do I need to link you an online dictionary?
It depends on what you like, not if you're a casual or not. I have several items where I have the OSTs but despise the OP/EDs associated, and vice versa.
Don't turn this into shitposting - keep it cool and friendly, please.
Backpedal from the fact that thinking that not having a specific amount of anime music somehow makes someone a casual, when anyone with decent ears can tell you that most anime music is boring shit that you get tired of listening too way too quickly and downloading a whole OST for a specific song is too shitty of a deal, or being a fucking idiot like this >>121055435 anon, then don't try and call others casuals, since you're probably just eating casual shit yourself and are just trying to justify it by showing a specific number.
If you want to shitpost so badly, then why won't you just go to /v/?
>having less than 16GB of anime music on their phone at all times
Why is anyone required to have a certain amount of anime songs on their phone? I don't pay attention to how many anime songs I have on my phone, I just have what I like on my phone.
>Why is anyone required to have a certain amount of anime songs on their phone? I don't pay attention to how many anime songs I have on my phone, I just have what I like on my phone.
Don't listen to him, anon. Shitposting is shitposting, and he's trying to derail a so-far decent thread.
Ignore him. Let him rot.
This was criminally underrated. Best soundtrack since Crowds.
You're mistaking him with Yuki Kajiura.
>Light Your Heart Up
>I Want To Know
>Til I Die
At least with Sawano, he knows how to produce good insert songs for the shows he's involved in
Daisuke did a great job with this OST, it fits the mood of the film brilliantly.
The Madoka franchise has both an awesome soundtrack and really great sound direction. Especially the second movie.
>I'll be with you
>I miss you
Listen to these in one go and come back.
>The Madoka franchise has both an awesome soundtrack and really great sound direction.
I recommend picking up the game OSTs, as well. They add another level of body to the work as a whole.
Anything by Tanaka Kouhei. Most of Sagisu Shirou's work. A lot of Yasuhara Takanashi's work. A lot of Iwasaki's work. Then there are more one off OSTs, OP/ED and character songs than I can count.
I mostly listen to post-punk and alternative rock from the west, and the only exception I make is for the Aria soundtrack and vocal song collection, they're so goddamn good.
Obviously i went through the Cowboy Bebop phase just like everyone else, and I also have the DRRR soundtrack on my hard drive.
And anything with Yoko Kanno involved.
RIP Origa and Nujabes
I'm always blasting the PSG OST whenever I'm in the need for some bangers
I've been listening to the Yuki Yuna OST every now and then since it came out.
Good choices, too. I have a lot of my OSTs mis-labeled as"various" and have been slogging through them to get them properly named by composer. So far, I have most of the stuff from Kanno and Kajiura done, then I'm working on retagging all my eva stuff ro Sagisu. It's going to take me a while to get it all recategorized...
>giving other people your phone
>letting others see the music on your phone
I've had close calls.
>Work in a lab
>Run some sort of particle sizing/spectroscopy
>Boss just says to take a pic with my phone then upload data later
>Asks to see something
>Going into pics on my phone
>It's got a bunch of Love Live album art, and the Ika Musume manga which I read on my phone in my down time
Then again, everyone at work is a turbo nerd and I'm physically bigger and stronger than them, so I'm sure I could get away with it. That and scientists are weird, so no one would really care.
I have Fate Stay Night OST In my phone
otherwise I have some OPs
You can bitch whatever you want about KlK and NGNL, but they have some pretty good songs
Panty and Stocking
Kill la Kill
Some Azumanga character songs and a bunch of miscellaneous OPs and EDs along with a lot of remixes.
Not specifically anime, but anime related I also have Nujabes, SION, and Capsule as well.
