I don't have anything against him but I feel that his character was way too undeveloped and unused for all the potential it had. He lost whole body, attempted a resurrection of his mother, cannot sleep, lives inside and armour… and he's barely important in the story. Everything's only about his brother. Manga was slightly better in this than the 2003 anime but not really that much to do it any justice. It's just major disappointment.
