Why are shoujofags always so insecure and defensive? They all act high and mighty as if the manga version of cheap, cheesy, female romance novels is the height of writing. That said, I liked the director's Suite episodes a lot.

Well, not denying that but the story and characters were interesting. Also, I would prefer Crystal Dragon anime. The manga is absolutely astonishing, one of the best shoujo manga I have read. Absolutely wonderful work with the world, characters, plot and most of all, mythos of its world.

Also, Dragon Knight by Yamaguchi could be adapted into 80 minutes long movie or something. It's quite some time since I read this one volume long manga but I remember it was quite nicely put together with fun heroine and overall engaging plot and characters. I also really liked that it managed to wrap up its story to one decently paced volume. I got quite refreshing feeling from it when I read it but I cannot really say anything certain about it since it would require rereading.
