Utena, Evangelion, Kaiba and if that is the first GiTS film all great if not then the series I am not a fan of. Tatami Galaxy and Lain are decent, not much of a fan of Mushishi, even less of a fan of Black Lagoon. I never finished Kemono no Souja Erin but what I saw was enjoyable. I did almost give a decent. Overall the taste just seems very obvious and like it might as well be anyones. No real personality to the 3x3 at all. Not that this is necessarily bad, that is being obvious there are number of shows a lot of people tend to like in these threads because they are good but I tend to like seeing things which show me something about that persons own individual taste rather than a 3x3 that could just be any other.

Well how much you like the shows is a personal thing I guess, so I won't argue with your preferences. But I can't agree with the rest of your statements. I think it's pretty obvious the shows I favor explore two sets of themes, albeit each different aspects of them and in a different manner. Not to mention I think my preference for certain types of aesthetics, character types and most obviously genre is evident. I think you haven't put much thought into that statement, especially if you think the same about most of the other 3x3s posted here (not today necessarily, but in general). Taking a look at I'm able to see rather clearly with their preferences are for all the aspects I mentioned.

You may feel that your 3x3 reflects you personally when deeply considered but seeing another 3x3 with all those shows on or the majority of them wouldn't be in the slightest bit surprising. The only real odd ones out there from being a typical 3x3 are Black Lagoon because it isn't usually found in combination with shows like those and Kemono no Souja Erin which is a bit less common in general. I spend about 10 seconds if that rating each 3x3, looking at it and then from gut feeling about it going with a choice based on the shows that are there. There is no real method.
