Arc V has been amazing so far anon.

I have considered Arc V on the sole premise that everyone seems to think it's been pretty good. My issue is that everything past season 0 of the original series is focused on duel monsters, and I liked it better when Yugi was just some dorky kid with a twisted, psychotic alter ego who was really good at games. Since the focus went to duel monsters it just feels like one big promotion and I just can't bring myself to get behind it.

Gundam is just a series to sell model kits, and I'm not just talking about Build Fighters. But that doesn't stop it from having some good series.

Besides, the Toei series was pretty bad. Ironically, it actually added more card game to the part of the manga it very loosely covered.

Am i the only one here who think the split personality thing was an odd choice for a shounen manga? The entire shounen medium is built around wish-fulfillment but it's not really about Yugi becoming an alpha male but Yugi sharing his body with an alpha male.
