So /a/, I just finished watching this show and was wondering what you thought of it.
I thought it had both great and bad moments, but the ending was achingly beautiful when MC set out on his last journey. Ei was the last one he pulled aside to say goodbye so technically she won, right? Ei best girl, though her imouto Jay Pii isn't too bad either.
S2 when? Also
>there is no girl named Four
Cringeworthy. Regularly broke the fourth wall for no goddamn reason. Incessantly self-referential. MC was a tremendous faggot, but then they killed him off in the current arc.
The girls are cute, though.
There's still an OVA coming out.
I really hated how Vivian and Pole teamed up for one final attack on the MC. I'm glad he was able to sort it out before he left on his journey though, mocking them was the right call after all. Sasuga.
Why was Ei's tantrum so cute when she found out MC was leaving forever?
>“I DON'T CARE!" Ei yelled at moot, snatching up a Hot Pocket and throwing it into the fireplace. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH, I'VE SEEN ENOUGH, I WANT OUT, I WANT IT TO END, I DON'T CARE ANYMORE!"
>"You do care," said moot. He had not flinched or made a single move to stop Ei demolishing his site. His expression was calm, almost detached. "You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it.”
I liked how the comedy changed over time, but I don't really like the current state of things. I think it started trainwrecking when the cast started blaming the club leaders for their own lack of fun. However you can learn a lot from the show if you pay enough attention, all the characters were incredibly well developed even though their personalities didn't stand out individually in the show and were overlooked by the majority for the banter and comedy. Overall 9/10 characters and emotions (I cried during the movie, fuck you), but 4/10 plotline (which could've been improved with more PLOT).
>Tararu's train ride
>Pooru remains bigoted
>Da-chan dose some stuff no one should see
>Buu dose some stuff ABSOLUTELY NO ONE SHOULD SEE
>Guro's argument with filthy gaijins about how computers are only for erotic games
>Meka keeps being awesome
It's a shame what Bii's become over the course of the series. She went from being a cutely perverted genki girl, to am impossible to like malicious prankster who always took her jokes too far, to getting hit by a car and becmoing a spasming retard who attracts unwanted attention to the other characters by uncontrollably projectile shitting everywhere. Her writing just seemed cruel, I kinda liked her at first.
I agree, he could become an excellent addition to the team if his character got more developed.
>implying Yuu isn't going for Es, Cee or
>implying Ei is not totally cahoots for Spee
Remember the Teege/Ecks relationship arc? They built it up and then it all fell apart. Surprised they did that with two of the most fantasy/action-heavy characters in the show.
Ko-kun is now an sjw-tier bitch, and it's starting to infect Teege. I never thought I'd root for Pooru.
Keegl still a fujoshit.
Kaye still operating innawoods with Oute and Ann.
Fla-tan is still wondering where da hood at.
>The more things change, the more they stay the same.
WORST Harem MC ever. Seriously, all he did was masturbate towards a fictional ginger when he has over 50 different girls and boys ready to take his seed. And don't get me started on how he takes pride on it.
The only thing good that he has ever done is the fact that he left.
Just accept that you love Vee.
They were really cute at the beginning, seriously that double tsundere dynamic between them was adorable but then Vee became a total bitch and lost all the dere.
Now it looks like Ei will end up with Espie but sometimes looks cute together with Kay and I don't know who to ship anymore.
Why does this anime have so many NTR doujins of the MC getting NTRed?
Which is even more weird when you take into account that his girlfriend is an imaginary 1D chick called Asaka.
Remember when they revealed how the
Wizard's robot nano-army was ultimately trying to infect everyone, and though it's never mentioned again, you can see it at work if you know what to look for?
Basically they're all screwed unless Teege and Ecks get back together, figure out what's going on, and
kill the wizard.
Possibly with the help of the Innawoods Crew or Espy and Fituu's kid - who does almost nothing but fight.
>Having a single red line as a waifu
They cut out the loli fanservice way too early.
Watching it felt like the show itself was jerking off onto us all while stealing my time and money.
>Watching harem shit.
The MC was a faggot aswell.
What was the deal with Vee-kun and all those guys that hanged with him like that weird frog he had
>there is no girl named Four
Maybe you need to learn some basic japanese. Damn entry-level plebs.
>That VRave arc where Ei just lost her absolute mind
Oh my god my sides
I really wish I had picked this up earlier. Sure, you can just marathon most of the show if you wait, but I feel like I missed something special by not watching it when it aired alongside the rest of you nameless entities.
I'm not so sure about that
The fanboys of the series seem to be making each episode themselves, in spite of what the casual viewers may actually want.
This shit could go on forever.
What I want to know is how the hell they got Sigourney Weaver for those guest appearances.
Ei X Espie OTP. So cute together, with Ei acting all tsundere and Espie pretending that he's too cool for her despite never leaving her alone. She'd always hit him back when he bullied her, but never enough to actually hurt him.
Espie's health has deteriorated quite a bit though ever since the last few episodes of the Moot arc. So far in the new post-Moot arc Espie's condition appears to be terminal. He's no longer as active as he used to be and doesn't have the energy to bully Ei much anymore...
While most would agree streaming is for plebs, I think that in this case, streaming enhances the sense of immersion to a degree. If nothing else, the shit quality of the video could help cover up the shit parts of the show.
If you like this show you are a lord of shit.
>hangs out with Vee and Pole
Her character could have been really interesting, with all sorts of disturbing personality traits and whatnot, but her entire development was focused around the fact that she had a you-know-what and she was just a cut-out personality-wise from then on
>Nanase Meruchi's talents wasted on Jinsei
But then again, she got paid for it. It's a bit conflicting.

I think there is a big plothole with the whole anime.
We are shown those faceless sidekick characters, jannies and moddies as they were called, who helped the MC many times but they were never paid? That doesn't make sense.
They also need to lose some weight and stop eating junkfood.
I missed the snacks saga. I caught up with the anime as it was airing to kill some time, I'm up to date with the spin-off though.
Shit hit the fan with the bane arc, and the...well, you know what happened.
I want get to get off this ride.
No, just acts "xD so randum" on purpose all the time because for some reason anime directors think that characters like that are funny and not a totally played out and annoying trope. Many shows have a character like that.
>Post-timeskip Pepe and Wojak.
Honestly it was a fitting conclusion for them. I though it was poetic how characters who have spent years wallowing in pity and depression completely lose their minds. Their side arc had to have been the most beautiful, tragic writing I've seen in a manga.
Remember when it didn't have these horribly typeset hardsubs plastered all over the place? I can't even tell what it says sometimes. Who thought this was a good idea?
>That whole entire scene when he left
Probably the most emotional scene in the whole show
That ending kills me everytime.
I wish Eifags would stop berating me for likeing Esspee-chan, iint-chan, gee-chan, and fitto-chan
So much potential, too.
But if the fans don't care, the writers sure as shit won't.
I really should have dropped it earlier but I kept sticking around.
Eight is pretty good, it captures what made it originally appeal but too much focus on Vee-chan and Poru-chan, Ei needs more love.
The death of snacks arc was really sad. I don't know why they decided to kill him off just when they finally decided to give him more character development. It nice that his ghost is in the background of some the scenes every once in a while though
I've read it...
The over-the-top shonenshit the author tries to push into the story is just awful and makes no sense whatsoever. This is pure fucking casual pandering. Tries too hard to be like DBZ or some shit.
To balance my review of the manga, the characters are weird as fuck. There are awesome dudes and shitty traps, fanservice chicks, the neutrals and some faggots, try to keep track of that shit you'll go insane.
I'm sorry guys if you couldn't get off the ride sooner, it has just begun, the meme ladder goes DOWN, this is the deconstruction of the madoka eva.
Because their kami-sama demanded it. Here is a picture of him.
>implying Ei doesn't do everything Shii does and more
Why have extra characters if they don't do anything new? Here, show me any scene with Shii, and I can show you one that has Ei doing the exact same thing.
Who are your favorite recurring side-characters?
Mine is Costanza-san. I loved his introduction arc back in 2011.
It's true, they did do it for free.
They even took their jobs very seriously.
Apparently it was the highest position available to them/
They were also apparently very hot headed. Firing anyone they didn't like.
They couldn't find any other work.
The economy was bad so they were living with their parents.
They also had bad health problems.
They had to sustain themselves on Hotpockets.
They spent their whole lives on the project so they never had any girlfriends.
They were pretty lonely too.
Can we talk serious for a moment?
The MC...he will never come back, right?
>4chan had an anime
Why even live?
Kyuu-chan. She was introduced out of nowhere and caused chaos for every other character in the show. Everyone hated her and everything she stood for. So glad she was killed. It was too late though, the damage was already done. She severely wounded a lot of the biggest characters on the show and they still haven't recovered to this day.
>Someone asks ex-chan about extraterrestrials
>gets flustered and hides her face in her paranormal book.
>Someone ask ex-chan about extraterrestrials
Fucking summer arc
>tfw nobody cares about Efu-chan, even though she's best girl
I thought his arc was funny. It got a bit repetitive, but it was much better than the current arc. I love the fanservice the doujin artists gave us of him too.
>90% of Kyuu's lines were getting mad at Pooru-kun or Ei-chan
I now feel sad every time I watch this.
I agree. Call me a pleb but the "ayy lmao" gag is one of my favorite ongoing jokes in this show.
Bateman-kun is another one of my favorite recurring characters too. He always does the same thing, but when he times it right it's always funny.
Oh please. At first Ei-chan acted all cutesy, making faces and such, and kept saying her name, but now she acts more reasonable. I mean, over some eleven-odd seasons, I should expect her to grow up a little.
Who is the worst side character in the history of this show?
Komeji and his entire subplot has to be up there.
What happen to Quu-ayy chan near the end? She was there for one episode with the MC and then they both disappeared.
>he doesn't know about the super secret exclusive BD extra content
The creators kept saying it would never end, and there was even that one episode where the magic digits confirming it, but I thought the MC would never leave, too. I think 'never' symbolized now.
Vii is the shittiest gril along with that cosplay whore
Who knew he was also the red man.
>wanting animu to go mainstream
>when daiwai-kun got introduced and never mentioned again
>when it happened again with biizu-san
The N/a/ruto episode was pretty good.
Why does it gets so much hate? it was fun.
Espie is the victim of police brutality. He was unfairly targeted by the police. He really used to be able to enjoy himself and relax, especially at the end of the day. But after the police attacked him without a proper reason he was rightfully pissed off and, naturally, struck back.
Now he's under house-arrest and is monitored closely 24/7. There is no reason for this and it is the police's fault.
He used to have a great time, occasionally bullying the other characters a bit, but it was all in good fun. Now he's a hollow shell of the man he used to be, afraid to act the way he used to in the good old days out of fear of being beaten by the police again.
Such a bullshit arc. I hope Espie-kun is freed one day and can return to his old self.
>white grade-A ZR
>not particularly violent but foul-mouthed as hell
>always blushed when MC came to play but hid it by calling him names
Ei was the epitome of tsundere and I wish she was my waifu.
>MC was huge faggot and forever newfag
Yes but he was Ei-chan's faggot newfag. And I'm sure wherever the MC is, he knows Ei-chan loves him.
Don't cut yourself on that edge though, maybe you should
