Is there any point of having a Harem/Romance LN/Anime/Manga where a girl has already been declared the winner of the MCbowl from the get go?
It defeats the purpose of a romance/harem series knowing that other girls no matter how 'best' they are will never win the MCbowl and get shit on in the end.
Shows like Golden Time, Saekano really irritates me. I rather have a generic haremshit that nobody wins in the end over a show where a winner has already been announce in the beginning of episode 1 and then force it down my throat
90% of anime announces the winner on the first episode and it always the first girl the MC notices with the exception of childhood friends.
> Golden Time, Saekano
Good thing the winner of these are both Best girls.
this is the only thing japan knows how to do. their entire idea of romance is determined by 'fate.'
a relationship must be reeking with 'destiny' and fate and all sorts of convenient coincidences and magical forces, beyond human influence or decision making. a winner that comes out of left field as a surprise would strike them as forced and totally not legit.
>Is there any point of having a Harem/Romance LN/Anime/Manga where a girl has already been declared the winner of the MCbowl from the get go?
99% of them? if you think another girks has a chance to win you are just deluding yourself
You can write a story between two lovers, anon.
Also if you translate Saekano's full title, this is all about Megumi.
On behalf of your parents, I am so sorry that your are retarded to know this stuff.
Rias and Isshei in high school dxd is this. Chitokage is this in Nisokoi, Lala in Tu love Ru, Moka in Rosario Vampire, Miia in Daily lives with monster girls. Aero in 12 Beast, Orihime in Bleach. It goes on and all. I honestly do not get what the points of harems are if not an excuse to have a new pussy to cum inside every day of the week.
Are there actually any harems out there that don't have an obvious winner from the start? Every harem I've ever seen either hasn't had a winner or the winner's been blindly obvious the entire time
Because the harem was just a red herring to the true narrative and was ultimately irrelevant.
But Megumi will leave when she is finished with the game.
Utaha on the other hand will always be with him.
The "aim for harem" is an illusion you doofus, 99.9% of harems end with either a) an open end, b) the mc picking a single girl over the others or c) the mc picking a single girl but the other girls not giving up, which invariably goes nowhere
>I rather have a generic haremshit that nobody wins in the end over a show where a winner has already been announce in the beginning of episode 1 and then force it down my throat
I very much highly disagree with that but to each his own opinion.
Honestly, I find it worse if a girl has already won and is currently dating the MC but the harem element is still present. That's maybe one of the few things that could get me to instantly hate a show.
>be a tsundere cunt to the MC while he's still deciding who to fuck
>meanwhile senpai is being all nice and dere without being overbearing unlike other autists
Gee, I wonder why.
>The "aim for harem" is an illusion
It's not aim for harem end, it's simply harem end, it's no illusion either, it's just Japan missing the point entirely most of the time. Also the point of a harem is NOT to go anywhere, it's to have fun with the whole situation. The authors don't get it but so does the retarded audience.
I'm still waiting when a harem MC TOLD a tsundere heroine that he fed up with her obnoxious behavior, then choosing another girl instead.
inb4 THK: I don't hate tsundere. I love gundere-chan and Aoyama
I seriously considering to write a fanfic to a very famous tsundere harem winner that was successfully NTR'd by the MC's childhood friend or anyone who was literally by his side when he was suffering with their toxic relationship just to fed up my autism.
>THAT QUALITY DROP IN THE SECOND PANEL
When did aniplex went toei animation tier?
>toei animation tier
i c wut u did der
This episode is very shitty overall. Even for the main grill
I still find it infuriating how /a/ injects harem logic into shows where it does not belong. Can't you just enjoy the ride instead of getting bent out of shape over who "wins"? It's not a fucking reality show.
No one is forcing you to stay, Anon.
Koi to Senkyo to Chokoreto sort of does this
She was just a childhood friend and not a tsundere and she wins anyway. But I want to say MC just tells to her to stop being a crazy bitch at one point
I do. I analyze everything about romance and relationships and have yet to come to a conclusion that explains my personal lack of success. I will soldier on, though, it must just be a matter of collecting enough data
>/a/ hates harems where no one wins in the end because it's still ongoing
>/a/ also hates harems where someone wins early because it makes the rest of the show pointless
there is no pleasing you people
