I thought this was the beginning of a sports revival, what happened?
I don't know why you thought that. Is was a good show, nothing to revolutionize a genre. I'd be upset if future sports anime tried to be like Ping Pong. They should find their own formula.
you need to be 18+ to post here.
Any two male characters within 500 miles of each other counts as pandering, anon.
The daiyas are pure, anon.
Characters don't need to be wrestling eachother while breathing heavily for it to be pandering.
I watched HQ, Kuroko, Free and Slam Dunk, and I don't feel like watching Yowamushi since biking is not for me, but what's the best baseball series to get into? I know there's a few but I wasn't sure which, though I have One Outs in my backlog but that's only because I was told it's like Kaiji.
There is no such thing as a non-fujoshi sports anime and there never will be. Get over yourself.
One Outs if you want to watch Akagi + Baseball
Diamond no Ace is also airing right now and easy to get into
Then there's stuff like Majors which is 5 seasons long and Cross Game
ran out to get food, but this is basically what it boils down to.
All fujoshi pandering is two male characters remotely interacting now.
There is no such thing as a show about men that is not fujoshi pandering.
