I agree. I liked the first two seasons because it was innocent fun battle tournaments with a tad of seriousness mixed in, especially near the end. Fanservice wasn't forced either, though it was definitely there (clothes falling off when losing, etc.) - it felt natural for the setting and not excessively gravure.

It's not a terrible show, but it's not as good as the other seasons. Feels like where Minatosoft took Majikoi - focusing on fanservice, rather than making what made the original so popular - loving characters in a group setting that make you feel like you're a friend of them as well. Essentially, a friendship simulator. Now it's just quick couple-hour routes for every character ever, and some that weren't, even if it doesn't make much sense. Fuck them.

I know it was pandering, but it wasn't fanservice pandering. It was character and acrobatic pandering.
