When did anime peak?
I think it was around the late 1990s.
It's only downhill now
the burger is just THAT good
I hate that basically every anime is using CG now.
You immediately notice it because of the low framerate and it doesn't blend in with drawn animation. Why do they do this to us?
Fuck this shit, I wan't back to godtier drawn animation
I almost died from how cute that image was OP.
I say it had a noticeable peak in 1979, a larger peak in 1984, a third peak in 1995, its largest peak in 1999, a minor peak in 2003, followed by a massive peak in 2008.
One could argue for a peak in 2012, but I think it'll be overshadowed by a larger peak sometime soon
OP guessed it right
at least in terms of graphical details
anime peaked around at 90s
Gundam 0083, Gin Roh, Macross Plus were all released around that time
the chart does not indicate shift to moe
but anyone watches the list of shows of the chart will notice the gradual reduction of shadows and vivid color year by year
only very popular manga could be adapted into shows, instead of purely advertisement today
"old days were always better" does not apply in this case
Okay, first of all little girls with that figure don't eat giant ass MCFatclaps. Secondly the pictures a HUGE turnoff, she's eating it like a fat murrican her sleeves are touching the burger and not rolled up AND theirs no wrapping causing the burger to fall apart after she takes a bite, not to mention crumbs fucking everywhere. You can just tell a fat, pedo neckbeard drew this
All of my top 5 favorites are from 1998-2006, and I wasn't even into anime back then so there's no nostalgia-goggles. Not to say that there isn't still good anime being produced. Only the great ones stand the test of time, so in 10 years we'll see what's still considered great from the current generation.
