You seem to be confusing an attack with an attack style, and a trick with a magical style. Yes the characters have one style, but that isn't necessarily bad: see the X-Men where the characters have one power style each but can do multiple things with it. Fairy Tail has so many actual problems with it that sperging over minor preferences just weakens your complaints.

The real problem with Natsu is that there are 7+ Dragon Slayers with minor variations (Wendy doesn't even support much anymore) which is like having 20 Ryu clones in Street Fighter.
