What do you even mean? That they got back what they had lost? Shinju-sama didn't plan to give it back, but when it witnessed the resolve of the heroes and the power of humans it decided otherwise. Given the japanese pace you were supposed to have read up to chapter 5 of the prequel LN at the start of the show and every 4 episodes another chapter until chapter 8 came together with the final episode. It was all timed pretty well.

Madoka Magica is a franchise with several alternate versions of the story, scenarios not revealed in the TV anime itself, and side-stories with different characters all in an expanded universe.

Yet the Madoka anime itself stood very well on its own feet and told a complete story while enticing fans to pick up the other merchandise to discover more of the universe.

YuYuYu didn't need to leave out important material to get people to look into the side stories and prequel. It just made the anime a lower quality product in the end.

Tougou wasn't even thinking very logically, she was panicking. It's established that she's a pessimist and a bit of a coward, and that she tends to try and do things on her own. She probably thought that the other Heroes would agree with her, but when her girlfriend so violently disagreed her resolve pretty much shattered. All Yuuna really did was calm her down and get her to think straight for a second.

The way she Mankai'd from her human form and how she touched the Vertex core as a human are explicitly things that have never happened before, plus the fact that the writers are officially playing coy about Yuuna's dizzy spell at the end heavily suggests that that whole ordeal is beyond ordinary Sange.
