Penguindrum was great
Yuri Kuma is shit
Yuri Kuma is getting better and better. The OST and sound direction is really unique and amazing. Everything else is your typical Ikuhara x2 (it seems to be more abstract than his earlier series).
But OP, Yuri Kuma is better than Penguindrum at this point.
The only reason I watched the first episode is because I have a vore fetish, and wanted to self insert like a virgin faggot.
tfw no one to self insert into
I thought Penguindrum was kinda crappy. It's one of those shows that is popular on tumblr and among lgbt people for some reason who get completely crazy when someone criticises it.
I understand penguindrum's popularity on tumblr but I don't see why lgbt people would be attracted to the show, except for the b crowd of lgbt. Tumblr "pansexuals" are just straight girls trying too hard to be special snowflakes so they don't count
The problem with this interpretation is that Lulu compares her promise kiss toward Milun to Ginko's promise kiss toward Kureha. Now that it's confirmed that Ginko is somehow related to Kureha's mom, what if Ginko see Kureha as her family? It may another lol family matters like Penguindrum but that's not what yurifags expect from a show called Yuri Kuma Arashi
Yo/u/ are actually retarded. For the past three weeks you yurifags have been associating romantic connotations to the term "promised kiss" and rightfully so, but now there's a heterosexual implication with the term, it's "purely familial" now. McFucking kill yourself.
Kiss can represent pure love. Any kind of love.
It's not even this. There is nothing indicating that Lulu was sexually interested in her little brother.
>There is nothing indicating that Lulu was sexually interested in her little brother.
Sorry, sweetheart, you don't get to pick and choose. If you're going to take that interpretation, then all the existing desire to kiss are thrown into the chaos of ambiguity as well. You can't have your cake and eat it too. The terminology of "promised kiss" is rigid here. Either it's all romantic, or it's not romantic. It's as this anon pointed out >>120522775
>Nanami and Touma (blood related)
>Anthy and Dios/Akio (blood related)
>Himari and Kanba (non-blood related)
>Himari and Shouma (non-blood related)
>Masako and Kanba (blood related)
Let's not forget the whole cardboard box reference to Nanami and Touma's relationship as well.
Because /a/ is still alive
Because the premise and setup of the show is so unbelievably stupid, but people still praise it as the greatest thing ever because of the blatant in your face symbolism and it being made by Ikuhara.
The English term love has various connotations, but Lulu quite clearly says 大好き when referring to the love she has for her brother, and when girls say 大好き to boys, it's quite unambiguously romantic. If she was referring to her love for him as family, she would most likely have used 愛 instead (and 愛 is what is indeed written on the cardboard boxes, suggesting perhaps that the Prince himself only loves her as a sister and Lulu's romantic feelings are unrequited).
