There's usually a thread on the days that a new episodes comes out. Personally, I don't think it's as interesting as season 1. At this point, GBF1 had that god tier Fellini fight. I can barely remember any of the try fights except for the Dom one in the first episode and maybe Red Warrior vs Lightning. The protagonists either absolutely destroy or get shit on. Nothing inbetween with the right amount of tension

Try is weaker than Fighters was.

Less gundam character cameos. All those cameos made Fighters a whimsical series full of nostalgic "OH SHIT!" frames.

The Fights are weaker. You care less about the opponents, and they're just not as interesting to watch. It always comes down to Sekai just spamming kick+punch. I was really hoping Sekai would start to run into some real opposition and have to up his game. Did Domon always end a fight with Shining Finger? Well, yes, that was his FINISHER move. But Sekai's FINISHER-tier moves are the only moves he fucking BRINGS to a fight.

I don't mind Lady Meijin, but it reeks of "THERE SHOULD BE A GIRL MASTER, TOO" because Sempai needed SOMEONE to look up to. And Sempai is really floundering, too, she barely even feels relevant even though she was the one who brought the team together. Come on, sempai, step it up.

Episode in 40 minutes right?

Honestly, I prefer Build Burning's stuff compared to Build Knuckles, if only because Build Knuckle was a really lame finisher in a machine that should have a lot of cool gimmicks with the absorb shield and RG system being a buff that just got wasted on Build Knuckle.

Honestly, Build Burning isn't the weakest link of the team in a design point. Everyone is hyper specialized and at least close-combat can be cool in a Super Robot series like BF. Lightning is just a mediocre gundam who in addition to acting as a power saver for BB, really just has the trick of transforming into being really fast. Winning is too heavily invested into its gimmick and doesn't really do anything else.

The characters themselves aren't interestin either in comparison to the first cast. It's too large of a cast and they barely interact outside of their own group, so they barely develop-- I mean at this point in the series, Reiji had gotten used to accepting that people were just as, if not more badass than him, so he got over his arrogance. Sekai is more practical, but his respect for opponents kind of makes him flat.

Except Build Knuckles wasn't 90% of the attacks done by Star Build Strike. It mainly used guns and shit, and only used Knuckles whenever the gimmick of the week was used by his opponent like Samurai Boy's lolno beam swords.

And more importantly, it took half the season to even introduce that piece of shit that is Build Knuckles. Build Burning was hamming it up John Cena 5 moves of doom style right from episode 1.

Build Knuckle was part of a much more interesting gimmick that they stopped developing. And even then, I don't dislike the SBS as much as BB, if only because Reiji loved to use his guns and was a great pilot on the whole where his movements and aerial maneuvers were concerned.

Sekai on the other hand, starts a fight with his special techniques, spams them throughout the fight, and then finishes with you guessed it, another special technique. Despite him practicing martial arts and having a melee specialist build, we don't actually get to see that. That's the real flaw of the Build Burning/Sekai. Wasted potential is the overarching theme with Build Fighters Try and while it seems to be getting better, I'm not going to get too hopeful before the Jigen vs Edgy Jigen matchup.

It does kind of make sense. The Meijin isn't just a champion of sorts.
The job of the Meijin is to promote Gunpla. And with the expansion of Gunpla the job of the Meijin would require even more work.

So having two Meijins is a kind of a natural evolution really. That way they can both work on it independently of eachother. And if you are going to have two of them, having a female isn't odd. Especially if Lady is the real deal like she supposedly is.

The creativeness of Trion is not only in the concept, but in the execution. Since it's manual you can't just make a bird tiger and fish and hope they randomly change into a robot. You have to properly align their shit and all that, and design it mechanically.

As for the Build Burning, it's been pointed out that Sekai is channeling Shounen Willpower Spirit into the plavsky particles to fuel an RG system-like effect. It's as bullshit as anything else plavsky particles does in the first place.

Also it purged armour, not broke itself, because exposed clear parts appear to have a correlation with allowing plavsky particles to move more clearly. That I have no idea why.

I dunno if I would go as far as pixy bullshit for the G-Portent. It looks to have a GN Field, which in it's later developments could be focused for more than just an orb shield could technically be emitted just at the feet to let it walk on a beam. Considering that build quality = raw output, it would not be unreasonable to assume that given the properties of her field and it's potential raw output, it could be possible to skate along the beam as she did. That's my guess.
