I LOVE romance anime and romance stories in general. I think I like East Asian Romances (KDrama, anime, manga, manhwa etc) because its a bit cleaner but I like smutty romances too so go figure.

27 been on /a/ or 8+ years now.

NANA is more of a drama than a romance but the relationships there are some of the most beautiful and realistic imho.

I also liked Clannad. I wish it didn't spend time on all the other girls,but I like how the relationship progresses beyond the dating. The male lead was decent too.

I always figured romance was something that was an acquired taste for men. When you get older you mature and realize there's nothing wrong with watching/reading romance while young boys would be turned off by the stigma associated with enjoying romance as a male.

I know on /a/ there isn't a stigma but in general, at least in Freedomland, there is a stigma against boys watching romance so my point was romance is something that a guy is more likely to acquire over the years rather than grow out of since its not something that typically appeals to young boys.

I always liked it as a kid but I was too embarrassed to really watch much of it.
