Makes it harder to rewatch favorites, especially ones that you talk about often and might be compelled to rewarch more often, but yeah, I don't archive fucking everything I watch every season. That would be dumb. It would easily be multiple terrabytes most of which would just sit there and never be used. I just archive some of my personal favorites.

The e-peen dick waving stuff is ridiculous for anime fans though. It's like being the coolest kid in special ed or something. I also use MAL for keeping track of what I'm watching each season and stuff I'm working on in the backlog, but again, I don't maintain a list. I remove things from it when I'm done with them and don't rank anything. That shit's weird.

AT the moment I have a bunch of external HDs with a total of 8 Tb. They're nearly full. Oh and I limit my downloads to 720p resolution (no point in 1020 for 95% of stuff at the moment anyway) - storage is cheap, but not that cheap
