Those who've said killing off a character on episode 3 is somehow a guaranteed method to gather attention(m-muh Mami) should now come and explain what the hell is going on now with Kantai Collection
Kancolle is a waifu franchise. Nobody gives a shit about story since game has none of it.
Completely different case from Madoka that created a lot of speculation since episode one.
They weren't trying to mimic Mami's death, it's an alert call that they are at war and they can get killed in action, no one is safe. It's part of the game mechanics so everyone was expecting it sooner or later.
>It's part of the game mechanics so everyone was expecting it sooner or later.
Sinking is part of game mechanics, sinking from full HP is not from a single not even elite level abyssal dive bomber is not.
The biggest draw to the anime would be seeing your shipfu animated and seeing her interact with other ships, something you can't really get out of the game. Instead they spend most of the time focusing on Fubuki and now there's the danger that girls you like will be killed off. It was a big mistake.
>The biggest draw to the anime would be seeing your shipfu
Yeah, which is why certain ships (including some super popular ones like Tenryuu & Tasuta) don't even get cameos and the majority of them don't even get more than a line or two.
Focusing on a select few was smart in the sense that even people who don't play the game can still become invested in it rather than just being confused each episode by an ever growing number of ships and personalities of which they are not familiar with.
Killing off Kisaragi is really the only thing worth debating whether or not was a good idea.
That scene was fucking retarded anyway. Why was she alone all of a sudden? All other enemies were fleeing, why would that lone airplane decide to stay?
Her dying in the middle of the battle would have been one hundredth times better, instead of that shitty "surprise" kill.
Well looking at the fight Mutsuki did have a force field similar to Anchorage Hime so if they had emphasized on that it wouldn't be that unrealistic. Same reason why Nagato should be able to take one of BB Hime's shots to the face and then continue.
The memories feel just as fresh.
They play some super lewd twister.
>Why was she alone all of a sudden?
She stopped on her tracks and tried to arrange her hair
>why would that lone airplane decide to stay
The plane was launched from one of the light carriers they torpedoed, and they thought they shut the planes down completely, so it hid in the clouds somewhere and sunk her.
Ah that is the one. I'm surprised it took so long to take off considering it looks like a genderbent Kancolle. So it's actually getting an anime? Wouldn't surprise me in the least.
The game makes enough money from ring sales to keep the servers up, but the grand majority of the franchise's money is from merchandise and other secondary material as you said.
Retard with no idea what he's taking about detected.
Kancolle game is almost completely f2p. It barely makes any money at all.
Kadokawa is making money on Kancolle only thanks to merch. Anime was a big chance to make a lot of cash and sell more merch than ever.
You can stop samefagging and talking to yourselves, fujoshits.
Your game is just yet another pathetic clone of your samurai BL otome VNs.
I've always been curious, is this just a coincidence or are the Kancolle visual design team fans of Vocaloid and or Huke's art style ?
>so she couldn't "activate" it in time
Why wouldn't it just be active at all times on the battlefield? It's complete speculation to justify how they managed to shoehorn this death in.
They're homages, yes. The strongest versions of non-himes humanoid abyssals also have a blue flame on their left eye like Wo Kai here.
They're not even remotely similar aside from twintails, so it's just coincidence. Besides most of us players didn't encounter her way back then, and Huke properly plays Kancolle because he draws official fanarts too.
She stopped first for literally no reason and only managed to separate herself from the other girls, then the wind came and she fixed her hair. Wasn't she some kind of reliable senpai figure? Why would she even break the formation just like that, even if the enemy was retreating it's still a battlefield. The way she died is just too stupid for me, imagine the enemy invades their HQ, they fight them off, crisis adverted and when they go back to their rooms they find an enemy and it selfdestructs, killing them, it was just like that. Damn I should be the writer for this.
Yeah, had noticed this a few days ago. I'm quite impressed actually, suffering moe worked well for Yuki Yuna's sales and helped to make Wixoss popular.
I guess you just shouldn't pull it on a series that is already selling so much
