I came here for the anime and stayed for the discourse but this place has been dieing before now and moot leaving won't change anything but it's symbolic of the way the internet and society is changing.
Back when I first started coming here in 06 most online forums were still cesspools and I hated it but I understood why it needed to exist now that it's pretty much gone I wonder if people will ever understand how important it is to have mainstream forums where you could say or share anything without being "downvoted" or banned.
I also don't feel like I have an ideology that I can associate with. It feels like the two options nowadays are either get buttfucked by republican backed fiscal and social policies or get buttfucked by SJW ones.
