Are you all gonna be watching the second episode of Rolling Girls tomorrow? I'm fairly excited, never watched an anime as it was released before.
The animation was awesome in the first episode at least. And the fighting was awesome. And the characters' antics seemed fun. I think it's gonna be an enjoyable series.
I hope we get to see more of this girl in ep 2. She was cute and funny.
Well, if the first episode is representative of the entire show's quality, I think I'll be agreeing with you.
I'd guess we'll be getting that this episode.
Tomorrow at some point.
The preview had some nice footage, so I'm hopeful. http://youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&t=16s&v=ijUI9uFzF8U
Other anon's right. Drop the name until you know your shit and even then don't bother unless you're contributing speciality info.
I hope the rest of the series' weapons are as cool as this.
Welp, I only have the name so I can easily find my posts in archives later.
Dunno, people haven't been this crazy about the name on other boards for the last couple years. I guess I'll stop using it for OP's, I'd like to discuss the show, not people's inability to filter / force-anon.
>I only have the name so I can easily find my posts in archives later
Seriously, why do you care?
Yes, because sometimes I want to find specific archived threads I've posted in. To be honest, it's more relevant on other boards, but having to switch the name on and off all the time would suck.
Yeah, that'd be good. It's a shitposting magnet, especially on /a/, so we're just trying to avoid that.
Back on topic, what do you guys make out of characters in the ED? My guess is that it's the other prefectures' bests.
This is /a/ faggot. We aren't the other boards. The fact that you don't know this means that you shouldn't even be posting, but instead lurking more. Now get the fuck out.
>tfw can't dissolve into tang
Would make sense if they were. Hyped about the possibility of a best being a best.
I generally don't agree with Sartre, specifically when it comes to his idea of choices defining our lives. But his ideas of humans needing recognition and acknowledgement from other humans to even feel human makes a whole lot of sense.
Shinji never felt any recognition from anyone, and therefore felt existential nausea (as Sartre explains it). Up until he finally is acknowledged for what he's doing in the Eva. In that episode where they in the end sit and eat noodles, he even explains that the reason he keeps piloting is because of the recognition he gets for it (which he realizes when his dad says "good job Shinji"). That's his sole reason for doing anything in the end. So when Kaworu says that he loves Shinji, Shinji again feels human, as love is the biggest form of acknowledgement. And that's why he has no will to live or be or do anything after Kaworu turns out to be the angel and he has to kill him. Also why Shinji desperately wants Asuka to "help him". That help would be nothing more than Asuka recognizing him as a human. I guess you could say, in relation to the series' lore, each individual person needs other people to acknowledge their AT-fields for the field to survive.
tl;dr - Evangelion is a realisation of Sartre's philosophy
Fine, I'll be googling how to webm.
Does the artist behind character designs have a Pixiv or something like that?
I found his blog, but there are barely any posts there.
He was also the designer behind Akiba's Trip and Tari Tari but it looks like Wit is doing a much better job at keeping his artstyle than P.A . Works did.
I'm looking forward to exploring their relationship. Based on those photographs, it seems they're childhood friends, and from the flashback it seems like Masami lost a sister, so she probably considers Nozomi her substitute sister.
I'm new to /a/, not 4chan. And either way, I find this pretty fun.
Yeah, if somebody makes a new thread I'll delete this. Maybe we could get some actual discussion.
Ok, enough with the derailing, I hope we'll get some proper discussion tomorrow (if I end up making a thread, it'll be without the name). I'm deleting this thread in a sec.
There's not really any saving it now though.
Tripfags are heaps worse than namefags because it legitimately destroys anonymity. Names don't in the same way, because you don't actually have a unique identity as everyone can use that name (see rest of thread).
There are a couple more things under a different tag, but still very little on pixiv.
I heard somebody here was making posts using my name, please stop.
It makes it really difficult to find my posts in the archive.
I downloaded a shitty quality episode cause I just wanted to check it out quickly. Might start downloading 1080 from now on tho.
She probably just wants a regular life, something she can't have while also being Best. So she does dual identity (pretty fucking clumsily, she leaves the suit at the top of her bags.
She's not actually MC though.
Spoilers from having read a little about what the show is gonna be about:
MC is Nozomi, and three other girls, who are gonna be going on adventures. Masami is probably still gonna have a fairly big role, but she's listed as a side role.
How dare you. She clearly has the most interesting personality of the cast. You can actually tell they worked hard on her personality, and her character design ties perfectly in with her person.
It's okay anon, you will see the light. She also actually has a name, it seems.
So Masami and Shigyo both have "good luck charms". Who'd they get them from? Is it a Best thing?
That makes sense. And then they became rivals. There's probably gonna be a scene where one beats the other and notices the necklace, and they both realize that they miss their old friendship, but it's too late.
I doubt it.
>and they both realize that they miss their old friendship
Alternatively, they both got a necklace from their boyfriend (the same guy), and the flashback could be them fighting for him.
