i think the only redeeming thing about the show is the female chara designs and if it wasn't for the somewhat appealing chara designs this show would be neigh unwatachable

it does help that it's a-1 and they can do soft super well, so i don't have great expectations but if it's passable i won't mind it being generic harem shit because each season really needs a decent one

Watching it at the moment out of noitaminafag obligations.

It feels awfully...off..for what I normally expect from the noitamina block. It feels like something that wants to ride the train KyoAni anime are riding.

I hope im not being judgmental, as the production is rather good.

Per experience, if they can't provide a killer noitaminacore season like Apollon/Tsuritama, they'll do a noitaminacore show (PingPong, Usagi Drop, Horou Musuko) and a show that feels like a big spender (NaNaNa, No.6, Fractale)

I suppose since ShigaKimiUso is on air, this would be that other show, Despite the things it's showing at the moment, im gonna be open about it. Maybe a twist will happen, you know?

That's what I understand to be the case. I guess they're trying to lock in a certain audience, but that seems silly because they'll be losing/alienating others with the fairly uninspired (but not terrible) episode zero before the more interesting (probably) meat of the show kicks off.
