>The life of Tomoyo Aki, a highschool otaku working part time to support his BD hoarding. With remarkable luck, he bumps head-first into, Megumi Kato, the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. Naturally, the meeting twists his life into a complicated torrent of relationships. Eriri Spencer Sawamura, his half-foreigner childhood friend who's always valued her relationship with MC. Kasumigaoka Utaha, a cold, composed renowned literary genius who shoves everyone aside from our protagonist. What is this? An eroge introduction?
>The tale of a small not quite doujin circle, but not quite indie studio's journey through the tough territory of comiket and beyond.
Less than 3 hours till airing. With the story being written by Maruto Fumiaki, this might actually be good.
Ushinawareta looked like complete shit, a far cry from what Misaki did with the VN.
The trailers aren't that bad, but not really pretty. At least, it isn't cabbage love quality like Ushinawareta
Certainly not exactly Utaha's main selling point.
I wish I could get those shitty anime designs out of my mind. They fucked up the game so hard by not having Kurehito doing the art (yeah Live 2D whatever) and not putting Maruto in charge of the writing.
a harem which is not a harem. At least didn't work like any other harem.
Also, the main girl is "friend-A" archetype.
Sento couldn't hold a candle against Utaha
>>Naturally, the meeting twists his life into a complicated torrent of relationships.
>>Naturally, the meeting twists his life
>>Naturally, the meeting
bumping into someone is considered a meeting
the only natural conclusion is to excuse oneself for being a fat fuck and bumping into everything and never see person again
A competent writer who transforms the most shitty premises imaginable (love triangles, older dude moving into a young girl's home, working at a cafe) into something truly worthy of your time. He has a real knack for the human condition. I personally can't stand harems but I'll be watching this for him alone.
Even if it is supposedly his weakest work.
>meet beautiful girl
>get a relationship with her
>have a half foreigner chilhood friend who is beautiful too
Fuck this shit it's always the same thing.
Tell me one good reason why do I have to watch this.
Guess the main girl?
it's the one in back ground, titular boring girl
Why does she want me to come on her knee?
Why Utaha kiss MC in the volume 7?
Can't wait for NTR, heartbreak and shipping wars like in White Album.
Who gives a shit about some autist's rating? Fuck off and stay off the threads.
>"On a certain day in spring, I met my destiny..."
Megumi already won.
Of course it's from ED, morons.
I usually can stand with any kind of development, but not betrayal. It feels, hurt, really hurt. Depressed me to the core.
This was a TV Special too apparently, the real series starts next week. That's right they decided this is another show worth a special premiere episode and cheaped out on the art/animation anyway. A-1 gonna A-1.
Guess everything got put into Your lie in April.
Having read only the scanlations, my ranking is the same. Eriri is simply awesome and really moe, her personality stands out and is strong. The main girl is way too boring, plain, and overshadowed by her and Utaha.
She's like the otaku version of Silver.
It's fucking perfect.
Is it me or is Eriri a goldmine for face reactions?
>I am such an asexual otaku with a harem.
>Let's have absolutely zero interesting conversation, even though it is the only things we have going on.
10/10 garbage, which means just garbage.
In Volume 6/7 Megumi loses to Eri when she asks to keep the MC's glasses that Megumi got for him. But then she also then loses to Utah when she comes in and kisses the MC right in from of Eri.
This episode made literally no sense.
>[HorribleSubs] Saekano - 00 [720p].mkv
>The anime director is a blatant Utahafag
Fine, I can live with that.
>He downplays Eriri
But his is where I draw the line. I mad. If he continues to do that for few more episodes, I'm going to drop this.
Obvious best girl.
>STOOOOP TOUCHING MEEEEE
>TAKE THOSE WHITE, FIRM, ALLURING BREASTS AWAYYYYYY
>DON'T TRYYY TO USE EVERY INCH OF YOUR PERFECT BODYYY TO GIVE ME AN UNIMAGINABLE PLEASUREEEE
>GOT A FEELING SO COMPLICATED
At least the fapbait seems to be worth it.
It looked really good.
I think I saw a few moments that were rotoscoped that actually looked like it fit.
Man, the animals in this forest sure are loud
This happens every time.
LNs usually have 5+ volumes by the time it gets an adaptation, but only 4 or 5 of these volumes will get properly adapted, so the juicy parts or the climax of the story will be left out.
In the end all you get from the show is "Yeah, it was fun. Buy the LNs for more fun!".
From the top of my head, I can remember Inou Battle and Mondaiji-tachi being like this.
Not all LN adaptations have this problem, sure, but from the comments of this thread it seems like this might be a case.
>heavy breathing intensifies.
I want her to carry out a scenario in bed.
I'm an anime-onlyfag but I very highly doubt she has a chance, she has a couple things going against her:
1. She's not the main heroine
2. She's an ojou-sama/nee-san, which is among the archetypes that almost never win in a harem
I felt very hot through that entire scene.
>you will never be hugged by a 2D waifu
Just wait for them to animate the 2nd volume.
Lemme guess: this ain't no harem, right? You said main heroine and not winning a couple of times, meaning to say that this has the makings of one, and the construction of one, but this isn't one, right?
>On the day of the school's opening ceremony, Tomoya asks Megumi why she's changed her hair style. She tells him that there's no particular reason, and that she hasn't noticed she'd become a vindictive and hateful woman when her hair is long. Tomoya wonders what on earth has happened to her during the spring break.
>Tomoya has switched to wearing contact lenses ever since Eriri took away his glasses. Megumi seems a little unhappy and says Tomoya really does give special treatments to Eriri. Megumi starts slipping back to her vindictive self as Tomoya asks about how she feels about Eriri. Recomposing herself, Megumi says she has a bob cut right now, not long straight hair that summons the vengeful woman within. Tomoya thinks that Megumi may have an interesting character attribute that he's yet to discover.
Once again, bob cuts are the most beautiful.
You dodged my question.
It's like you are saying that your examples didn't have any climax. Also, what is the "juicy" parts you are talking about? Everyone has a different view on what the "juicy" parts of a story are.
Honestly, I have no clue what you are afraid of.
Those random shots to that soft lined weird artsyle thing was ugly.
And I don't know if I'm too paranoid now but is it like Motomete where half the time they've just traced over CG models? Their hands were definitely CG though.
Seemed like it.
I didn't mind it though.
well its not a guarantee but adapting so many volumes really takes away from the work
much like Yahari which adapted 6 volumes in to 1 season as well
But even if they don't adopt till Vol7, Vol6 is an okay place to stop
and unlike WA2 the time passed between Parts isnt 3 years its just one school break
well its a vn so you can choose whichever heroine as a true ending
I'm not sure if you watched any of these, but using those two shows as examples: Mondaiji-tachi ended just before they were about to go retrieve their banner/organization name/terminology I forgot, which was the main point since the beginning.
Inou Battle ended just after all the characters had been introduced and the first contact with other power-users.
Basically, the whole anime feels like an introduction or a prologue, so I say the "juicy" parts are the main point of the story, the real "happenings", and I just get disappointed when it ends right before it truly begins.
Yeah, I didn't remember Yahari, this might be good after all.
>Another series where the cutest, purest, and best won't win
From what I understand,
she and MC are just on completely different levels right now. Eriri isn't at her full potential when she's with MC, and the fact that he can't push her makes it harder to stay.
As it says later, Tomoya wants to keep improving himself as a producer so he can get the two of them onboard with him again someday.
That's how I read it anyway.
>First 30 seconds
>two girls are discussing about shitty harems and classics
Holy shit, this is probably the fastest an anime has won me over.
well shes still going to college and going to a rival groups, they wont be able to see each other at all, so its pretty much the same fate if they had stayed in the same circle at least they would've been able to meet every once in a while like she wished for
She's also the childhood friend for 10 years.
>Dat way she asks where's Tomoyo like a lost child seeking safety from the one she trusts and loves
God damn it.
>those hand movements
>kidnap him in his room while he's asleep after they get drunk off candies.
>playing rock paper scissors in order to grope his balls
All girls are best
Except normalfag one
It was indeed the 5th
Also stealth wins
Haha fuck you this is great, talk about a pleasant surprise
And it's not even the first episode!
I like her well enough based on the manga and spoilers I've read, but do remember Part 1 only just finished recently. God knows what suffering is in store.
>7 fucking volumes
>Still statu quo
At least the music in WA2 was great, in this we have nothing except harem antics breaking the fourth wall
Man it's been a while since the last harem I enjoyed
Girls are all fun, even stealth-chan is in her own way
It's well directed and drawn
The art is great
4th wall breaking
Now I hope A-1 doesn't crash and burn.
It wasn't as bad when I marathoned it.
Besides, few girls were as cute as Aki.
But Galilei Donna is on that list
SHINKURO MANICA ITSU NO MANIKA
I don't really like meta shit when it's done so tactlessly as this, but this part was pretty funny.
Why are school harems always so much better than fantasy harems?
This is infinitely better than literal shit like the two other harem anime that aired already. Also better than trinity seven, blade dance, and dragonar.
I don't think I've ever been impressed at a story doing 'lampshades' on common animu cliches and tropes. It's always
>Look we acknowledged this cliche but we're going to play it straight anyways, SO FUNNY RIGHT? HAHAHAHA
Truly, the pinnacle of the meta genre.
Did they eat radioactive waste?
Everything isn't necessarily shit to an equal extent, though. Least shitty show will be the AOTS. Though realistically there are bound to be at least a couple at least decent shows, possibly ones that seem like shit based on what we know about them beforehand.
Best girl confirmed
...Why didn't she just speak up to her circle about wanting to quit if she have her reason instead adding useless drama and losing her love to other girl? She's his childhood friend right? She should know MC is not a cunt that will forget her just because she do that.
