Got around to reading the remaining volumes after the anime ended.

So the amnesia arc wasn't as bad as I expected but it was still pretty bad. All that "muh Urz" along with "I know this is Tigre but let's just pretend it's not Tigre anyway". Also felt that the plot development we did get in those 2.5 volumes could've been possible without dragging the amnesia arc for so long. By doing so could've gotten even more development?

I liked it. Sort of reminded me of LoLH wherein there wasn't much of a budget, there were really bad cuts on the story presented in the anime and the sales went pretty bad too, but I still enjoyed watching it overall.

Sad thing is that it's actually got a lot of potential to be a great anime if it had more episodes, more budget and better scriptwriters.

The anime is one of the best examples of shameless LN advertisement I've ever seen. Character interaction and relations cut. Removed any semblance of tactics and strategy from battles, just chess and cgi soldiers swinging randomly. Politics are simplified to a few lines or off screened.

Just a bum rush through the bare minimum of main plot with no budget or care. Not so much terrible as it was lifeless and bland.
