This. There is nothing to gain from seeing someone else watch anime. It's not like you can discuss it with them like you can when you watch a series with /a/. The only opinion that really matters in your own because everyone else has shit taste. If you don't like an anime, move on and watch something else, or take a break and read some manga. It's not like there is a shortage of media or anything. People who make videos and blogs are most likely attention seeking faggots anyway.

internet video-celebs who focus on anime are more cancerous than ANN (and ironically a particularly bad one that people only watch because they want to fuck her is also an ANN writer)

the concept of reviewing anime in video form itself is not bad because anime is a moving, visual medium, but they tend to be awful Nostalgia Critic/AVGN-fanboy types with utterly pedestrian uninformed opinions who often try to be funny and are only popular because of a gimmick and because they make regular videos about anime on the internet. "Bennett the Sage" is the worst by far and the second most unlikable Nostalgia Critic ripoff.

the one guy /a/ liked was not cancerous, but he was also utterly non-noteworthy
