So in an effort to cater to the growing superhero fandom in japan, the first volume of Keep your Hands off my Daughter! has finally been released.
Has Nozomu's usual fanservice plotline, and features complete rip offs of Supergirl and Powergirl, but what did those of you who can read those magical up and down squiggly lines think of the actual story? I just looked at the pretty picture's.
was that Vibrator nuclear powered?
I was commissioned to purchase and scan the second volume.
The commissioner intends to commission a translator for the script but needs help with editing.
Quite sure it's being serialized in some magazine but I have no idea how often.
The manga itself is serialized in Young King, but the author will release an official H-doujinshi on winter Comiket: http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=47699448
Ah thanks, on a phone so it's hard to read everything.
Commissioner got a site or anything? If it's just editing english I'd be willing to help out for at least a chapter or two.
Just gonna go ahead and post this "little" piece of work...
These were the pages that built up some hype a while ago.
No but I can hook you up with him.
Mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Haha I was just going to post that but had to re-active my spam account.
Yes. I laughed how the Shadowman says "H-hello"
Slow day at work, might as well post chapter 6 which is the last chapter in the first volume.
Well, since we're being nerds, PG is in fact an alternate reality version of Supergirl.
Also surprisingly enough, people like her for her personality (brash, assertive, blue collar) too. Which is why rebooting the character as some kind of partygirl socialite was met with nothing but butthurt.
True, however it came after chapter 5 so I just ended up calling it chapter 6.
Speaking of the this artist, anyone have scans of Angel Para Bellum past vol 1?
There were some on jcafe but I only saved 15 and 16
I'll close off by saying that the Connor/Grey/Palmiotti run on Power Girl (1-12#)is a really fun comic.
And basically the only reason /co/ considers her waifu material.
Don't think she's a rip off of anyone, atleast not an exact rip off, she has more of that generic japanese depiction of female barbarian/witch look, like sometheing from a Sentai series.
Wasn't gonna say anything, truth be told I'm a mindless Marvel fanboy, could never get into DC, except for batman, and only when he was off in Gotham at streetlevel, add in stuff like the JLA and I immediatly lose interest.
I'll be ordering the second volume later today once I get off work. Hopefully I'll have it scanned sometime next month.
MAybe you should give it a shot.
Power Girl was uncharacteristically light hearted and fun for a DC book.
Also where the fuck is my NEXTWAVE anime by Studio Trigger?
I was commissioned to scan volume 1 few months back and the person who commissioned the scan is now having it translated through a paid translator one chapter at a time. He still needs someone for typesetting, QC and such. He commissioned me to scan volume 2 which just got released.
Are you referring to this?
I take it that the guy with the flame at bottom left corner is Saint Elmo. Shadowman is called The Reflex?
The two in the right corner are Sekka and Kikka?
Mantis guy is Cyclone?
Anyway these are just my guesses.
Each of the villains have some kind of description next to their name, like the Shadowman has something about stalking.
Also this tickles my corruption fetish
True. I'm a huge sucker for Tamaki's art even though I get bullied for it because "lololol so tiny heads" I should honestly get some kind of case for this small signed print from him that I have from him.
>Not noticing Motchie Kingdom and Takasugi Kou on the splash page
I can kinda agree with that.
Batwank is fucking ridiculous and one of the most annoying things to come across. It's one thing for him to manage to do some things to help the JLA. He is stealthy and can come up with plans. Many villains aren't even powered so he could take at least a few in h2h. It's another to actually take punches from people that can 1 hit KO Superman, beat said person, watch his face get shoved into concrete by a person with super strength in another comic(complete with generally face shaped crater), and then you go out and hear people say people with superpowers aren't real heroes, or they're less heroic because they aren't in danger when they constantly fight enemies that probably could kill them, or he's an underdog while insisting he can beat everything.
Hey, Kalevala, in the event that you're somehow still even in this thread:
You use some giant office scanner, right? I'm about to buy a new scanner, but I haven't decided on the model yet.
Wonder Woman was never a true simbol of Femdom, unless you consider her worst days in the hand of shitty writters as accurate portrayals; Diana is just a proud warrior woman character, sometimes even going against her Island's extreme ideals of superiority over men.
You mean clean scans has finally been released, I've seen this series before, it was even mentioned in /co/ once.
It's completely off the radar, I tought Dance in the Vampire Bund would have risen awareness on Tamaki Nozomu's work, but all it did was spark interest in his previous Hentai works before going Mainstream.
I take it you haven't read Azzarello's reboot?
Get on that shit. It's based as hell.
It was fucking fantastic.
And it felt like a very self contained thing set in its own universe.
Which is the reason manga is generally superior to big comic books.
If Batman or Superman had shown up, they would have ruined everything.
Also Cliff Chiang is a crazy good artist.
Well shit, looks like the thread survived Christmas traffic
It was just released to stores.
I will most likely order it tomorrow.
I honestly hope there's not two people commissioning the translation for it
I use a generic Canon office scanner at work, wish I could remember the model name.
All chapters got barred from Sadpanda, including the most recent chapter uploaded just this Monday, it seems people still didn't get the memo on Hentai Universe not being a Online Manga reader where every series is appliable; the sekrit club is for Hentai only.
This anon is right. This is ecchi guys not hentai. It shouldn't be on sadpanda.
The artist should be drawing doujins instead of this anyway, ecchi sucks when it's not mixed with other genres.
Hey Kalevala nice to see your still around. I had emailed you a couple times about a possible commission but I guess you don't check the email from your blog often/at all anymore. You still taking public commissions?
Is the finger shooter the daughter heroine's dad? If yes, than he deserves some kind of "father of the year" award.
Non-hentai corporate manga are banned due to fears of litigation, and because they don't want to be a normal manga site like batoto or mangafox.
Non-H doujins are fine because they're privately published derivative works.
Hey. Life's been tossing my around this Fall/Christmas but I'm still alive and doing stuff. Mail me and I'll get back to you as soon as I finish looting the Christmas dinner table.
I literally just found out about this series a few minutes ago when I was looking at the news section on crunchyroll http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2014/12/23-1/manga-author-nozomu-tamaki-celebrates-christmas-with-dance-in-vampire-bund-and-america-superhero-homage It looks like something I would like and since it is Christmas I may just go full weeb and get the first volume
> Understanding nothing but the art
Where do you guys get your raws now? I used to get mine from rawscans.com(dead ;; ). jcafe24 is alright but not the best for tank scans.
There are very few erotic doujinshi based on Cape Comics, and PG managed to appear in many of these few, her design gives the final say despite being a C-Lister in the actual comics she appear in.
It's an ecchi manga which means it's softcore porn. The art is delicious but the fact it's capeshit means the story ain't that good. Ecchi needs to be mixed with something else to be enjoyable.
Also the author will make porn of if though so we are good. >>118754214
Many Seinen Manga can get into borderline Hentai territory, don't see how you could be surprised about it, is this your first time?
Anyway, it's by former Hentai Mangaka Nozomu Tamaki, known for going mainstream with Dance in the Vampire Bund.
I thought it looked familiar, I just didnt bother reading every chapter of DVB or its been so long
I dont read much hentai manga, last one I read was velvet kiss
Doesn't matter, like I said Pure Ecchi isn't as great as Ecchi with comedy, take Golden Boy for example.
At the moment this series is just ecchi with bitches wearing super hero clothes. They need to explore more of it's potential.
If it was just hentai it would be better right now. You can rage and quote this post I don't care anymore.
Well, on pixiv the search showed 10 pages of results with the "Powergirl" tag and 20 pages of results with the "Powergirl written in katakana" tag. That's pretty impressive. And mind you, compared to danbooru or gelbooru, the tagging system on pixiv is pretty bad, so there can be at least several more pages of pictures or picture galleries with Power Girl but they just didn't tag her or tagged her differently.
Must be contract exclusive, some publishers might more open about it; even the giant Shueshia (owner of all Jump magazines) allowed the author to make his own Bastard!! doujinshi, and even advertise it within the series tankoubon.
Their material isn't actually illegal in the US (although it can be a felony to transfer across state borders IIRC). Even if it was, a copyright infringement lawsuit wouldn't try to determine that.
>PG is in fact an alternate reality version of Supergirl.
PG is a victim of insane editorial confusion, no one knows what to do with the character, I remember when she was an Atlantian, because you know, Superman is the Only Son of Krypton.
Speaking of Nozomu manga. A certain loli vampire dreams of hot dickings in the latest volume of Vampire Bund.
Also implied to be in a secret relationship with wolfieboy.
The official doujin was never scanned. That is from volume 3 of Scarlet Order, the timeskip manga.
All the ones with Tamakiya as the group are by Tamaki Nozomu.
There was an anon looking for Fever Dream and They Thirst. Those are the ones that are impossible to find. You said something about an English compilation, got any more info on that one?
The latter two are from unscanned doujins and the first two are from a digital DRM locked volume 3.
I'll upload it on winny forums if I can figure out how to decrypt the files, but for now here's a link to where you can buy it.
