Sorry I didn't make this post until just now, but I got busy, then as soon as I was uploading this in the last thread, it got archived.
But oh man, this card is beautiful. Killua looks great in a shrine maiden outfit. I don't know what to say, just, this card is amazingly done, I love the watercolors, the effort put into it, the extra touches of stuff on the envelope, the everything. I could keep going on and on about how great it is, but I'll try to keep it this brief. Just, thank you so much, you drew and watercolored my hasubando beautifully, it looks amazing. (Also the Gon-san with the Santa hat on the back is hilarious)
And thanks for the Ghiradellis too, I'll be sure to eat them while I think about Killua in a shrine maiden outfit (just maybe not today, I had some sweets earlier so I don't wanna overdo it)!

I do like how that one came out. The way that the light illuminates from the body was literally a last second thing that was an absolute eureka moment. I was shouting SHIP IT right after it happened, and then it was sent out immediately. It's relatively clean and smooth feeling. Although, there's two smudges of fingerprints on the upper right hand corner that seem to be on the art before the lamination so there's not much I can do about that ;(

Aside from that, it was actually pretty damn clean looking. That whole lighting from the body was pretty damn brilliant. Funny enough, and I don't want to be too specific just wanted to let you know you drew Apollo (Kanon) and not Kanon (Kanon) Yes, there's a difference, although they are technically the same person.

That and I'm more like Apollo IRL then my own waifu so that's cool too. Use google-fu

I still think it looks great and I love it though. The last time I tried to use watercolor was as a freshman in highschool and I remember whatever scene I was painting came out really shitty, I was really unskilled with it so some areas were too dark and indistinguishable from normal paint and it all just look really bad. But even if I did have watercolor-skills, I'd still think the same of it, I love it.

All of my card-anons were international. Despite having my shit together, the mailing times from my country were beyond unreasonable (yes, mailing by December 2 is unreasonable) unless I wanted to pay $65 per letter.

So, while 3 of my anons got their cards before Christmas by good luck, 2 definitely will not.

It's cute. I think your main problem is probably either brush control or a brush that's too large, or maybe not watering down your paint. That's just for future reference though. I think it looks pretty good as is, I'd certainly be happy to get something like that.

First time I've gotten to see you post my card, hooray! There's a funny story for when I was printing that picture out by the way: In order to make sure I beat the postman, I was in a mad rush the morning of to get it printed and didn't have ink, so I rushed to the store to get colored ink just to print your card out. Hooray for heart-attack inducing panic!

The figure itself is really small (4cm x 4cm x 2m), so it's really hard to do for someone with no artistic ability. Also I didn't manage to completely smooth out the wood, so the texture itself sometimes makes it hard to paint properly. Thanks for the feedback though.

I know how you feel. I signed up to send out 10 cards and was only assigned 4 people. I sent them out and I don't think anyone was even assigned to me for whatever reason. That or all four of my /ss/ haven't sent their cards yet or are late with them. Not that I mind but it's just a smidgeon disappointing.
