I do, but it's pissing me off. Jeanne d'Arc accepting the potion ruined what was my favorite character for me, I'd rather see her die. And the whole affair with the king was just painfully unoriginal. Kaisar is still fucking useless. Villains are ridiculous visual kei rejects.
I started watching it recently since I like to wait until stuff is done or close to finishing. I thought I would hate Favaro since I hated his design but he ended up being a loveable rascal and the best character.
It's only one cour and made/started specifically as an anime right?
>>118556401 >The writing turned completely inane a while ago How do you figure? I thought the whole castle siege was fantastic. And I think everything that came after was at the very least interesting, even if it was mostly set up for the finale. Plus, if you aren't watching it for the character interaction to begin with, you're doing it wrong anyway.
Why did Rita decide to tag along with Kaisar? Did his sob story hit too close to home for her? Was she actually bored and finally decided to check out the rest of the world instead of living in a shitpit for all eternity?
>>118558063 What do you expect of someone who's used to everyone worshipping ground they walk on and being convinced by gods themselves about own glorious fate, lavished with trust, praise and gifts of invincible weapons, and drowning in the sense self righteousness. Spoiled bitch had it coming.
>>118558307 What if she decides not to act for the demons either? Out of her and Favaro, the latter's the most likely to turn on his chums, while I think Jeanne will most likely be just misguided regarding the gods and will instead get a good talking to from Rita and pals before going into Savior Jeanne mode. She is to the game what Saber is to Fate, so Lavalley is more likely to be killed off than her.
The moment Bacchus said Martinet can change his appearance would've been the moment I'd have stopped believing Lavalley was anyone other than him if his actions weren't so redundant in that case. Unless he really needed some extra party validate his scheme in the eyes of Amira and those who took care of her, and that's why he assumed the persona.
>>118561343 There is obviously some mind control added to that potion so she won't have much of a choice. If Martinet is really Lavalley he had time to investigate her and prep her for the role of a drone. Maybe she is supposed to be Beelzebub's device to control the Bahamut as the one from the legend.
>>118558710 >>118563775 Jeanne is like those race cyclists, where the entire peloton works for the success of one man of the team. She's growing to be too much of a glorified cow already with the prospect of Avant Jeanne. And she didn't have a single conversation with the cast on a more personal level. She's such a estranged character, it would feel weird if she suddenly got such huge role to play.
>>118566811 >Jeanne focus No thank, she has a stiff personality and isn't dumb enough to be as lovable as Kaisar. Too dry in every sense to provide for a enjoyable MC, she'd just kill all the joy. I'd rather have an entire season of Azazel and Rita.
>>118567097 For as much as I'd want a Jeanne show, she'd basically have to become a different character. She's fine being what she is, and shouldn't have to change to get a show. Just leave her as a side character.
>>118567097 Speaking of which, am I the only one mildly annoyed at the fact that they turned Azazel's survival from Beelzebub's HELLFIRE into a joke, but hilariously edgy 80's rocker Jeanne "Dark" is serious business?
>>118567418 >she'd basically have to become a different character Nah, they'd just have to give her some more characterization. We've barely spent any time with Jeanne outside of big climatic events. We barely know what she's like as a person.
I hope next episode we'll finally see Favaro using this beast. >dimension tearing powers >the barb of fucking BAHAMUT who literally no one can kill but can kill everyone >powerup now because demons I am hype.
>>118567959 She's just a simple farm girl who's bit drunk on sense of duty. The monotonous and lofty tone of her voice while she's talking to Favaro gives off impression of stick in the mud personality
>>118568243 >blade ducktaped to the hild Bro, that thing ain't gonna cut a shit before it breaks off.
>>118569369 If you mean criticism over Jeane, you ought to know that her hype crowd is way bigger than those who see flaws of that character. Because in-universe Jeanne, of course, has no flaws whatsoever.
