I am going to completely honest and say that I actually feel that it was very suitable for them to use a lot of classical instruments and refined melodies in conjunction with distorted sounds and dubstep, for the show that is is about alien parasites invading and corrupting the human world.

You could even go as far as to say that the parasites are distorting the human form.
Kind of like the music is doing to the melodies. But I guess some people are so sensitive to wub that they can't stand it in any shape or form no matter the context.
