Why would anything good ever happen?
Not posting the superior version.
Yes, I'm horrible as a human being
Back in my day, we made 20 threads on the first page at once at times like this, and there were only 10 thread slots, and sad girls had to walk through the snow uphill both ways to post them.
This is too cruel.
Everytime I think of Karin my vision gets blurry and I start tearing up.
wasn't it said in last week episode that the Vertex were some kind of ultimate life form sent by evil gods suddenly and that some gods wanted to defend humanity and combined to form the Shinju?
That's a good idea. Karin can still get drunk, after all.
Pls save us madoka--sama
>finished ML:A and Hidamari Sketch graduation OVA
>watch Yuuki Yuuna
>this happens too
Really bad idea.
Time for some motherfucking befriending.
And Takahiro already loved suffering before Madoka. I don’t doubt that getting funding for
>“Hey guys, I have this awesome idea, we take cute girls and have horrible things happen to them!”
was easier due to it though.
I just want to hug some Yuushas now to make the pain go away
A-an anon is fine, too
Goddammit why why.
ARE YOU HAPPY NOW TOUGOU YOU TURBO BITCH
Happy end for Karin even if it requires an asspull. Pls Takahiro. Don't ruin Christmas.
Here is the Second Stratum boss video. It took me a while because a.pomf.se supports up to 50MB, and my video is 53MB.
Also reposting because I didn't get enough responses.
>We unlocked subclasses, which means every character can now learn more spells.
>This is where the fun begins.
>There are eleven classes we can pick from. Here is a link to all skills if you want to take a deeper look.
>For Yuuna, who is a Monk, I was thinking of Zodiac - as it would greatly increase damage she deals with punches.
>Tougou is an Arbalist. For her, I would go full Yamato Damashii and pick either Ninja or Shogun. Other option is Gladiator, which would let her deal insanely high damage every two turns.
>Fuu, Gladiator, could be a Hoplite or Buccaneer. Hoplite because of her defensive actions in episode 5, or Buccaneer because eyepatch.
>Itsuki has one choice, and that's Farmer. Farmers have great binding skill, and other support skills, like singing. Heh.
>Karin is not yet with us, but I have zero ideas for her. Only thing I can think of is Ninja.
>So yeah, throw ideas and I'll consider everything.
If Karin doesn't get a happy end i swear to god I will hurt someone.
So wait, so taisha dies and then what? Then there's no fucking world left oh shit tougou what are you doing you crazy bitch
I vote for Tougou as Shogun and Fuu as buccaneer. Those seem to fit the best.
Last episode, Tougou sang the 2nd verse of the ED. This episode, Yuuna sang the first one, however, she began it with the 2nd verse's lines.
Now, let's start walking.
The sky that I saw with everyone,
even if its curtain of light is closed,
it's not dark here.
I have already known,
that this moment will end someday.
It was so very important, so very important
yet I had turned my eyes away.
The fleeting time
passes by in the blink of an eye.
Are these really what happened?
Holding up those fragments under the setting sun,
I try to make sure of those times.
I can't forget, I have to remember.
Each one of them
is a wonderful memory.
Always, I'll remember that smile.
Each one of them
is a miracle.
Just like this, they came descending to this place.
Now, let's start walking.
The sky that I saw with everyone,
even if its curtain of light is closed,
it's not dark here.
The days keep pilling up,
time is just like magic.
The future becomes our present and past
then turns into memories.
After taking a breath,
and inhaling slowly,
we all recalled those words.
Even without promises,
our hearts are connected
always always, even further in the future.
Each one of us
possesses an irreplaceable color
that makes this Earth as colorful as it is.
Each one of us
possesses a unique color,
so we can all shine.
You have to see this from a meta point of view, if nothing changes then they slowly become more and more crippled and at the end their story amounts to nothing, this is a bad end for them. But if Tougou forces a change now then this episode and the next episode can happen, in which the system will be forcefully changed by Yuuna and the good end can be unlocked.
Tougou needed to do this so the status quo is broken.
>There are people here who legitimately think Tougou did nothing wrong
>Discover the truth about the outside world
>Let's talk things over with the other Yuushas and maybe figure out a way to deal with--
>LOL NOPE TIME FOR GENOCIDE BECAUSE I'M SAAAAAAAAAAD
>>It's not like that world has any future
>euthanizing a world on life support that is destined to die anyways
You guys dont know that for sure
couple of cute little girls here and there get some disabilities to save the world. It's not that high a price considering it's the world we're talking about
Everything flashes bright white and pink pedals gather around me. I attain Mankai, hopefully for the last time in my life. The power of Shinju-sama surges through my entire body as I attack the Vertex. I will use this attained power to protect the Hero Club. That is Miyoshi Karin’s mission. All four of my swords clash against my opponent at the same time, pushing it away. I just need one final push to defeat it. I put all of my power into these four fists of mine and slice through my opponent. My battle, not as a hero of the Taisha, but as a member of the Hero Club, is over. Incredible exhaustion takes over my body as everything turns to black. I regain my consciousness to the feeling of being held by someone. I hear nothing but faint ringing. I open my eyes, but nothing is revealed before me. However, I can feel a warmth. It is a warmth that I have felt before. It can’t be anyone except Yuuna-chan. I reach out and touch her. Her skin is warm and soft. I wish I could see her face and hear her voice. However, it seems that the price of protecting her, the price of protecting the entire Hero Club, was my eyes and ears. But even if I can’t see her, she can see me. I work up a smile. Is she proud of me?
>Society of single shitty nipp island which has to sacrifice little girls into dead vegetables = mankind.
Naw man. Togo is right and Karin would be Hellen Keller in a month or two.
If Shinju dies then Tougou, Fuu, Itsuki, Karin, Yuna, Sonoko, all their classmates, all their teachers, all their family, all those little kids they put on the play for, all those creepy masked Taisha, all of them will become mopsperm in torment for eternity. Some things are worse than death.
Don't cry out loud.
Just keep it inside and learn how to hide your feelings.
Considering the preview is about Yuna not forgetting, I wouldn't be suprised if she lost her memories as price for the mankai.
Some time later, she gets reactivated as a hero with a new team.
most of mankind was already dead. she's planning to die along the others once Shinju's fucked anyways. so she still would get the capital punishment if she succeeded.
and the world is literally fucked and doomed anyways. she's just accelerating the inevitable
Where's her right arm?
>the final battle rages on, everything is in despair
>suddenly Yuuna knocks over a prop
>everything was just their school festival skit
>noone has lost anything
>Tougou can walk
>Sonoko and Gin are among the audience
>the whole planet is intact and exists normally
I would even be happy with this kind of ending.
I can't even be happy about that perfect gap
Can you really promise me the daijobou?
Maybe this will help.
No, look, man, if it was just about dying there would be no issues. The rest of the world was judged, by gods. That's not the sort of thing that leads to death-then-oblivion. That's not the fate of a world in Cthulhu's beak.
Truly the Gin of our generation.
I legitimately teared up when Karin lost everything but got mad when Yuuna stopped the Vertex from destroying Shinju. If Tougou saw Karin that would only give her even more of an incentive to just destroy the world so no one has to suffer.
Watch the ending be:
Tougo and Yuna shouting each other's name then they rush at each other with their weapons ready. Cut to black screen with the words "Yuki Yuna wa Yusha de Aru Season 2 in the works!"
>Can't hear anyone
>Can't see anyone
>Only interaction with the outside world is people touching you
>Your friends could abandon you and you just think your sole obligatory caretaker is your friends
They took one arm and a leg.
and being selfish sometimes is right.
seriously, who cares about all those people?
it's not like the fucker know or even care about the girls
so why should the girls suffer for people they don't know?
>>most of mankind was already dead
As far as she knows mankind has survived this situation for 300 years. It's quite possible that every single person she is killing would have been able to leave their lives to the end with quite high standards of living judging from what we saw of Shinju Era Shikoku. She is a mass murderer.
Tougou is a piece of shit and totally delusional. She is even worse than Homura.
She is dead wrong. Life will always be better than death, even for Karin's losses she saved the whole world.
Most people won't realize what happened, someday the world will end, Tougou being there or not, and it won't be a damn difference if it ends right now or 200 years later, since the moment Shinju is killed the world ends in time stop, so nobody will notice when they aren't there anymore.
Meanwhile if this continue, the actual heroes will notice everything happening slowly to themselves. While everyone else would be the same the world ended or not.
I find it hilarious that people are trying to justify Togo's actions by claiming she was doing what was best for mankind, when really all she was concerned with was her own suffering. She couldn't care less what happens as long as she doesn't have to watch her friends become cripples.
Togo is literally the worst kind of person, and totally deserves whatever's coming to her next week.
You know what I want? A big Hero Club group hug after this fight. They hug her reaaaaaaaal tight and try to stifle their sobs so that she can't feel them shaking through their tears.
>why isn't the middle schooler thinking about saving the world instead of her friends!?
I'll laugh if Tougou is like "I knew destroying Shinju would save the world" at the end and then I'll cry at how shit that is.
>it won't be a damn difference if it ends right now or 200 years later,
You are going to miss 200years of memories and being with your friends. They are protecting the hero club that Togo is trying to kill.
This. She could literally just stop fucking fighting if she doesn't like it. She doesn't have to proactively try to destroy the world.
LIterally worse than Hitler
>Nanoha identifies the problem as being Shinju-sama not really listening to the girls
>The tree won't fucking listen to her
It would be better to keep the TSAB from being involved.
>hero club tenet four: if you're troubled, talk to someone
>nobody follows this rule, leading to the clusterfuck that is the current situation
Notice how her right arm and leg were shadowed?
It gets more blatant when you consider the asymmetrical design of her Yuusha form.
>the world is rotten
Now that's just edgy. Shikoku is clearly a pretty nice place to live in the anime if you're lucky enough to be ignorant of the truth, which is 99.99% of the population.
Karin was supposed to save christmas.
I don't like this at all.
You people are ignoring that this is a story about those five girls and not about those other imaginary 4 million people who live there. They are just extras, forget about them.
Anyone else feel like they made Karin job a little too hard when we all saw she was fucking capable of THIS? She could have literally cut those vertex up from a million feet away but instead she mankais 4x
I'm on the sacrifice-can-be-necessary side of the debate. I support continuing our existence even when it's imperfect. Sacrificing cute teenage girls' limbs and senses? Matter of degree.
>Mankai four times
>become a complete fucking invalid
>older hero has mankai countless times
>still able to pose a threat
This fucking show hates her.
The fuck kind of existence is only being able to move your one arm though and. to be able to properly understand others? I know it'll all get fixed next episode but picture that for yourself.
For every 10 keychains you buy Takahiro will heal one Yuusha's disabilities in the last episode.
This is the best bittersweet ending I can think of for Karin.
Taisha get Karin's phone. They take away her Hero Status. She is no longer protected by fairies. She passes away peacefully (through drug overdose) in her sleep surrounded by her family and the Hero Club. Yuuna holds one hand. Her brother holds the other. Taisha erect a statue of Karin in one of her katas. Karin will always be a Hero.
You're right, that's an important part of the story we're missing while trying to nail down intangibles.
If Yuuna had known about disabilities from the start, she would have done it. Karin too. Tougou doesn't want her friends to suffer, so she's trying to force them to stop sacrificing even if they want to continue.
>gets exoskeleton and bat sight
She is Mamoru 2.0
For everybody who is in Shikoku right now, Tougou succeeding or failing means they die now or get to live their whole lives. What happens in 200 years makes no difference. It's natural and correct for people to want to sacrifice little girls because it's the difference between their own life and death. Fuck the distant future, this is survival.
>This is the best bittersweet ending I can think of for Karin.
>Taisha get Karin's phone. They take away her Hero Status. She is no longer protected by fairies. How long do you think this show has gone on? It's only been a few months and the top five heroes are halfway to being fucked. The Earth as a whole has gotten a few years left at best unless Shunjuu steps its game up.
It seems extremely unfair to me that Sonoko mankai'd TWENTY TIMES and yet she got away with one good eye and both ears, while Karin is left trapped in a world of permanent blackness and silence plus also losing an arm and a leg.
TSAB could just AeC the white things from the sky. Peace through superior, less-lethal firepower.
>Life will always be better than death
How could you ever think this would be true 100% of the time.
The world that exists currently is raising children just to be soldiers who will become maimed and disfigured so that the world can continue.
If people knew this was happening, do you think they would even choose to bring more life into the world by having children?
>sorry , girls you're gonna have to suffer being robbed of all your senses and sensations for the rest of your life
>why? oh, some people didn't want to die
if the fights continue they'll be in a worse status than just being in a wheelchair.
Hey togofags, you're now aware that over 99% of planet earth is inhospitable magma
Do you kill your family and everyone else you can because of it?
These poor fairies deserve a better hero than Tougou.
Tougou's reaction is completely understandable. I'm just trying to look at it as an outsider. It's obvious to me that as an organized society the best thing to do would be to sacrifice girls as long as it kept the people alive.
>If people knew this was happening, do you think they would even choose to bring more life into the world by having children?
In Nazi Germany jews were prosecuted but they still got children. In fact they got so many children that despite 6 million jews dying their overall population didn't decrease.
>Taking both hearing and vision
There should be a limit to what is being sacrificed to save the damn god him/herself.
But Karin proved she was by far the best fighter of the group.
There is no right or wrong, there is only yuusha.
What if they had to sacrifice 1000 girls every year instead of 100? At what point does it become cruel and barbaric enough that extinction may be the preferable option?
Nobody is asking the important questions here because they're so wrapped up in Togo turning into Mami and Karin being an omega cripple.
WHY WAS THERE NO BARRIER OR ANYTHING PROTECTING THE WALL? Hell, why could you just walk right outside the illusion? Is Shinju gave even a single shit there should have been something there. Maybe there's trying to say something.
I would think at least asking them first would be the considerate thing to do.
"Oh, my friend was just diagnosed with cancer?"
"Better hurry up and kill him before he has the chance to suffer."
> In fact they got so many children that despite 6 million jews dying their overall population didn't decrease.
You know, that's not the real reason why their overall population didn't decrease
they could just hold the vertexes for some years until the app is good enough for yuushas to fight just before the first mankai gauges fills up and switch the yuushas, but no genocide is better.
fucking retards not following the yuusha club rules
Yes. make it happen Takahiro.
>A-All life is precious!
>Even if everything is going worse and will keep getting worse and worse!
>Living soundless black pit where you'll be completely unable to experience life or things as simple as human communication is alright because you are alive!
It's disgusting to see how many pampered rich white kidides who have never experienced any truly bad things in this world are in this thread.
Welp, time to sleep, not staying up another night to discuss how Homura/Slaine/Tougou were wrong or right.
Who am I kidding.
Tougou was moved by emotion, and that's understandable, but is she truly considered herself an ally of her nation, the right thing to have done would be to accept her own sacrifice as a necessary evil. I'm not saying many people would have done better, she was just put in a shitty situation, but it's still true that she should have accepted her fate.
Expected at least 800 replies max
>hero's app improved from the time of Sonoko/Gin/Wasshi~
>having fairies, more powerful attack, no need to train the body like the 3 had to in order to fight
>still need to take something away after each Mankai
Taisha software developer(s) sucks
Flying is moving though. I guess she could still fight then.
How long until Sonoko just comes in and literally dues ex machinas the situation once the Takisha give her her phone back?
This is the best option she had.
>Tougou never tried
She did lots of research into the issues and kept on seeking answers. I'm pretty sure she's bummed about ending everything, too.
Why didn't you protect her smile /a/?
You guys are all acting like the Taisha are the bad guys. But what about the dudes that made the Vertex? Why doesn't anyone point fingers and blame them? Is /a/ literally pantsu on head retarded like pic related?
>once the Taisha give her her phone back?
Actually this make me wonder
How the fuck did the Taisha expect to give her the phone to stop a rebel Yuusha if time stops?
It seems Tougou plan to use the vertex to kill Shinju is also a way to stop Taisha counter-rebelion
She was betrayed by her Nation. They lied to her, and friends, face. Why the fuck would she want to keep being loyal after all the shit her "Nation" put her through?
Do you like hanging out with people who treat you like shit and lie to you or something? Are you a masochist perhaps? Because the normal human behavior is that is someone you trusted treats you like shit you either ignore him, stop hanging out with him or treat him as shittily as he does to you.
Mid-childian magic doesn't kill you directly if used judiciously. There is no magic fairy dust involved that guarantees that nobody gets harmed. It simply is so easy to control that they always have to option to apply non-lethal force to a target in principle.
But it can still kill if applied in an uncontrolled fashion. And the arc-en-ciel is not exactly controlled. It just rips holes into whatever you aim it at.
It's like bashing each others heads with soft wood panels. If the panel is thin enough your opponent will live, bruised. Drop a gigantic plank of wood against an unprotected opponent, well, it'll kill them.
the gods are trying to cleanse huminaty from their since, the defective gods trying to protect humanity are the ones that created the tree.
they aren't wrong they are just doing god stuff
Karin is even more of a hero than Yuna. She never faltered not even once and had to tell Yuna to woman the fuck up before going off to sacrifice he body without hesitation. Too hardcore for me.
DAILY REMINDER: A few weeks ago you called Karin-chan a jobber.
She wants to die, she's bummed because her life was shit and she sees no way out. She won't die, she'll be disabled completely, body and mind, forever.
Black lesbians with unrequited love who lack compassion for more than one or two people who are insane fit the bill.
She truly was the best off them.
Who's to say Shinju is even capable of forcibly keeping humans in? Maybe there's a reason why Taisha indoctrinates people not to go outside the wall by telling them there's a deadly virus outside.
I never did, my conscience is clear.
Only Yoshiteru can and even then, it only knows to say two things
>ALL THINGS MUST PASS
>ALL THINGS MUST END
oh good for them. i actually dropped the show at the start of the second wave. btw what's the deal with that? i thought there are only x number of enemies? it's like evangelion got another batch of angels coming after the last prophesied angel
It's probably something like hue from Psycho-Pass
or maybe it's the Taisha who panicked and after Tougou's went renegade temporarily blocked the transform function for Yuuna as well.
I went through like 20+ Madoka threads when the BDs were released (about 1 per hour just waiting for the damn thing to download), I did argue a lot but I stopped caring afterwards, nobody ever changes their minds.
Haven't touched a Madoka thread since.
I'm glad she broke down because up until now, her only emotions were GENKI and DAIJOUBU.
Ahh, who am I kidding. She's the same as ever after she recovered.
>>Living soundless black pit where you'll be completely unable to experience life or things as simple as human communication is alright because you are alive!
Nobody is trying to say the heroes' destiny is not absolute suffering. People are just saying that as a society it is the lesser of evils, which is obviously true. Whether the good of the many should out weight the good of the few in this case is not such an easy question, but if the answer is yes, Tougou is wrong, as tragical and despairing as that is for those few Heroes.
>dropping out of mankai after 1-2 enemies each time
>attacking with brute force instead of even attempting the more efficient sealing ritual which after all is good enough to kill vertex without going mankai
>gets stabbed by scorpion, doesn't even try to dodge despite AGI build
>meanwhile tougou manages to pull of a shitload of things before going mankai herself and without immediately dropping out of it
Still a jobber. She was just a rogou spamming super-attacks, pulling raid boss aggro.
Karin Miyoshi is a Hero
It's not one-sided, Tougou knows what she's doing isn't right, she's not insane, she thinks it is a necessary evil, and she doesn't want to be the antagonist. You know nothing about this show, this isn't Madoka.
>Karin will never practice swordfighting again
>Karin will never win a swimming competition again
>Karin will never perform well at Karaoke again
>Karin will never make oragami again
>Karin will never run on her treadmill again
>Karin will never hear "All things must pass" again
>Karin will never ride her bicycle again
>Karin will never have the gleam in her eye ever again
Since the premiere in Japan until the BD release.
But I stopped going to Madoka threads because nothing would be solved with different opinions and blatant bait and shitposting.
Anything it takes to return her smile
>Karin will never interact with anyone ever again
>and now you realize she's missing a leg to stand up
She can still speak. Imagine, she could say completly inane stuff in the wrong social situation and never know, and no one could say a thing to her. That'd be hilarious in a SoL spin-off.
Atleast Shinju didn't take her virginity yet.
