2 - Casters usually (always) lose, and so aiming for a Caster in hopes of getting sick buffs is retarded and backwards.

3 - In case you haven't noticed, most maguses don't focus on unarmed hand-to-hand combat, so a buff would have diminishing returns. In most cases it would only slightly improve survival chances, but if a magus is being attacked by a Servant it's usually flight or die.
4 - This isn't pitched combat, it's a surprise attack that catches Saber off guard.

Even though I loved how sabrr got the crap beat out of her its still only happened because Sensei had the element of suprise against her, as soon as she decided to fight in close she lost. Dont worry though it will not work again against saber. Many of the masters who beat servants was mostly in all honesty a variation of luck, element of suprise, and not fucking up and to keep applying pressure. Servants STILL outclass them.
